The room was extremely dated, with old carpets and décor that made the place feel dirty and uncomfortable. The atmosphere was unpleasant and honestly gave the impression of a very dodgy one-night-stand hotel. The location is awful if you’re visiting Zürich — it’s far from the city centre and surrounded by industrial buildings. Do not stay here if your plan is to enjoy the city.

The curtains were plastic and stained with brown marks, which was disgusting. The bathroom smelled strongly of mould, as if it hadn’t been properly ventilated in years, and there was visible mould on the ceiling above the shower. The bed was equally bad — a thin, strange mattress that offered no comfort at all.

I only stayed one night because I had an early flight the next morning. If that hadn’t been the case, I would have checked out immediately.

The only positives were the staff, who spoke good English, an easy check-in process, and an excellent breakfast. The croissants were genuinely the best I had during my time in Switzerland.Overall, this hotel is only suitable if you are desperate for a cheap overnight stay near transport. Otherwise, avoid.

Overall a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We chose it for affordability so we were not expecting frills. It was located close to transportation which made it possible to reach everything but took 15+ minutes. It was located in an area with mostly office buildings so there was not much available immediately around the property to eat at. The staff was friendly but nothing extensive. There was a bar at the location but we didn't use it.

Nice space with friendly staff. Not downtown, but also despite the name, far enough from the airport that there was no noise from planes. Plus solid windows that block noise and blackout curtains - great for jet lag. Within walking distance to public transit and basic store and nice restaurant in base. Personally, I loved the neighborhood and the walkway behind the building. Only potential downside is that there was not AC, but I feel like this is pretty standard here. Also has simple and nice little coffee machine in room!

We booked this property with doing research on its location from the bus terminal and to the airport via taking public transit. Once we started the journey was very eerie when we arrived our maps took us in behind no signage anywhere to say where this place is. Our room have garbage still in it even after the housekeeping came in for two days the same water bottle from previous guest was still in the same spot.

The website says they have air conditioning in the rooms, but they Do Not. One night it was so hot, even with the window open, but restricted because they lock the bottom of it, and I tried calling the front desk 5 times with no answer. I eventually went down and he told me that they have no AirCon in the rooms, even though on the wall there is a thermostat. I asked for some assistance and he told me \"I am too busy and cannot help you\". Overall, the location was horrible, it is in an Industrial area and there is a lot of construction going on. So with the windows open you will hear at 7am the construction. It was a very uncomfortable stay!

Wasn’t worth the money we paid, Aircon didn’t work and it was so hot at night . They didn’t even supply water for the room or have a mini fridge to cool the tap water. Ask for a pillow 1 hour later past my son bedtime they bring a pillow. Staff is not very friendly
The location is 30 mins tram ride to Old time.
Lots of construction around hotel.

All the plugs in the room should be updated, not working property, had to use the plugs downstairs at the restaurant. The buffet breakfast is a nightmare..,, so crowded with tour buses. The computer at checkin was super slow, need to update as well? I believe Ibis should live up with the brand. From Vancouver Canada.

The hotel is located in a quiet area not far away from Oerlikon. Good transport links to the airport and the city centre. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and made a very good first impression. However, we had to swap rooms straight away due to the toilet flush being broken. The second room was okay. There was no safe in the room which is a bit of a shame and same goes for the kettle. The breakfast was not good: dry bakery, very limited selection, eggs and bacon were terrible, same limited choices for the three days we stayed there. Breakfast items were not replenished fast enough with some trays sitting empty for long periods of time. This seems poor considering it’s an Ibis.

After our river cruise, this was an affordable and relatively convenient option with an airport shuttle. The staff responded quickly to my questions on directions to this property from the Zurich train station in advance of my stay. We were able to enjoy Zurich with a day bus pass from the hotel.

Clean and cheap, so could certainly be worse. Bed was not terribly comfortable and altogether it was sparse. They have conditioning shampoo in the shower in a pump bottle and soap near the sink, so you have to step out of the shower to get soap ... far from public transport and I would not walk the area at night to get to transport so I had to use Uber to return when it was late. Was it worth the sFr.75 (total for 2 nights) I saved over staying in a 4* property? Probably not. Next time I will opt for the upgrade

We couldn't make our booking because all flights were canceled from London, I explained this to the hotel, even though the circumstances were out of our control we were not offered any sort of refund or a chance to use our booking for later dates. We were very disheartened by the whole experience.

Liked the staff and their spirit. It was Oktoberfest and they went all out. Was awesome to see them all have some fun. They seemed to enjoy their jobs.

Breakfast was pretty basic.

Location was not very popular. Felt really out of the path of the town.

Rooms were crazy small considering how far outside the city this was. And that it wa LA` new. Air conditioner didn’t work well at all.

Shower head and water pressure was great.
WiFi worked well.

This was such a good choice for our short stay in Zurich. The shuttle took us from airport straight to the hotel. It took under 20 minutes to get to hotel. Upon arrival we were able to order food & drinks and there was music with dancing at hotel. The room is small but very comfortable. Clean. I am very satisfied and would recommend it to everyone.

Almost perfect for a short stay. We spent one night here on a long layover. They offer a shuttle both from and to the airport for only around $5-6 which is a great deal considering a cab runs five to six times that.

The rooms are very small, if you've been to Japan then you know what to expect. There's not much of a view because there's nothing to look at in any direction. The rooms do have plenty of electrical outlets which is a nice touch.

The staff were very helpful in explaining how to get to the nearby tram station by foot and reach the city center. (10-15 mins on #11 towards Rehalp.)

The bar area is pleasant but we found the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner to be exorbitant and chose to eat elsewhere. The breakfast buffet was $18 and it's your best bet if you want something more filling than just a pastry.

The free shuttle was supposed to run every half hour and was over 20 minutes late. I ended up taking a cab which ended up costing 18 francs to my surprise. It’s only 2 miles away from airport too so was disappointed. All the other hotel shuttles came right on time.

The stay was good except that the A/C DID NOT work. I know that it was very warm for Zurich for this time of year. But they need to improve/ update the A/C.
The staff were very accommodating by providing breakfast at no charge to try and compensate.
Overall they (the staff) were fantastic. The hotel was fully booked due the event I was attending.
Question, would choose this hotel again?
Answer, yes. With the close proximity to the event location (Hallenstsadion)

Fair customer service. Poor cleanliness in the bedroom. Bedroom was quite basic dirty. There was only one receptionist in a very small counter trying to serve a 10-people queue. There is only one single iron available for guests across the entire hotel in a very poor condition. The telephone in the bedroom is for decoration purposes only as I was unable to communicate with the receptionist and the other departments. No one never answer the call. Not recommended.

The price of the hotel is very accurate of what you are getting. In the end if the price is right then it's right. Small rooms as expected. Room temp is controlled by hotel. The wall unit only has fan speed adjustments which also dosen't seem to change anything. Very quiet hotel. Couple minute walk from tram which a 10 min ride to city center. For the price i enjoyed it.
