Coming from the airport, there’s a convenient public transportation stop that leaves you about two streets away from the hotel. It’s an easy walk, though I did wander around the neighborhood a little more than necessary at first. That said, the area is incredibly quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated after a day of traveling.

At check-in, they charged a small city tax of 2.31, and they accept both cash and card. The process was quick and straightforward. Once in the elevator, you simply follow the signs to your room. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they’re very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The bed was a bit firmer than I’m used to, but I still slept very well. Everything was spotless, which made the stay even more pleasant. I also liked that the room has its own heater, allowing you to adjust the temperature to your preference.

Right outside the property, there isn’t much going on, especially at night. During my evening walk, I noticed a few joggers along the nearby waterfront path, adding to the calm atmosphere. I recommend paying close attention to nearby public transportation stops, as it’s easy to pass them without noticing. A big plus is that public transportation runs late, even on Sundays. Overall, it’s a peaceful location near Zürich, but plan ahead since few food spots stay open late.

Good location. It’s directly in front of Glatt mall where you can shop & get real food from Migros restaurant upstairs. There is also an ATM downstairs to pull out Swiss francs. The 19 CHF breakfast is good but s bit pricey. But I do like starting my day off with breakfast. The hotel has all the basic needs and the hotel was cheaper than hotels that were by Zurich HB (main station). Staff was super friendly & Wallisellen station is near (like 8 minute walk).

I searched for properties that had a restaurant onsite, so I come down and get food and go back up. This one came up in the results, however, there’s no restaurant or bar. They only serve breakfast. You have to walk to a nearby mall (via a wooded alley) if you want lunch or dinner or snacks. As someone who was planning a quiet, lowkey visit with convenience, this was disappointing. The room wasn’t clean and the blankets had stains that looked like red and blue ink. The sink in the bathroom flooded onto the floor because it didn’t drain well.

This hotel served our needs very well! Staff at the reception desk were very kind and helpful. Location of the hotel was good, approximately 15-20 minutes from the Zurich train station by car ride. Room was clean and comfortable. My only comment was that the beds were pretty firm and may be a bit uncomfortable for longer stays, but we used the hotel as a pit stop during our travels and it was perfect for that.

The hotel is close to the transportation hub and to the mall. The staff were accommodating and friendly. Our room was clean, well ventilated, and the sheets and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was okay. I wish there was hot chocolate for non-coffee drinkers like me. We will definitely book again next time.

The property exterior and lobby are clean. I appreciated that the bathroom and shower were in a separate room as most European hotels don't have that. However, the room only included 1 small towel and 2 body towels, and the hotel does not replace these throughout your stay, nor do they clean the room daily. No face towels or hand towels. Bed only came with 2 pillows and when requested for extra pillows, they gave us 2 very flat and smelly throw pillows with pillowcases over it. The design of the shower makes the floor of the entire bathroom wet, so we asked for 1 extra towel. The towel was never given. Almost no English channels are on the television, and the chromecast is not useable. The staff were pleasant but were not accommodating.

Wonderful staff allowed us to check out bags at the hotel early to explore the city while we waited to check in. Rooms were spacious and clean and the bathroom was very well maintained. Hotel is connected to the city center through both tram and train lines, and we were able get between the city center and the hotel multiple times a day to rest and change. Breakfast was filling and well done. Will absolutely consider staying again if visiting Zürich.

The customer service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and available 24/7. Upon entering my room, there was a slight cigarette smoke odor that did not go away. After the first night, my bathroom had a consistent strong sewage odor most likely coming from the shower drain. There must be a defect with the plumbing to allow that odor to come through. Room 525 to be exact. I was out and about most of the day so I didn’t bother to bring it up to pack up and move to another room which may have similar issues. Aside from that, these rooms are simple and efficient for travelers. Breakfast was not included in the base price. Personally, I would spend a little bit extra on a bigger chain hotel that included breakfast. The mall was across the street so I ate breakfast there which was cheaper than the hotel’s daily rate.

The best part of the stay is it has AC while many others in the same range don't. Its close to the airport in 10-15mins drive depending on the time of the day.

I would prefer to find a street parking then a overnight 21 CHF. Which is for cheaper than one of the other one where we were charged 36.

Breakfast not included but you can pay extra.

Beds were 2 small and feel like you can fall from it in the night. Good cheap option for a night stay but not more.

This was an excellent property. Quiet, safe, and easy access to the city trains. The staff was very helpful in explaining the local train access and service the next morning. *I arrived late at night and didn't understand the city train so the taxi from the main train station was 50 euro for 5 kilometers! Highly recommend you understand how to get from main station to the local station that is about an 8 minute walk to the hotel. Great place with great staff, would definitely stay again.

Stepping off the bus, we were worried that the hotel might be hidden away in an isolated park and industrial estate, but thankfully once we knew the way around the place, we’ve realised the location couldn’t be any more convenient. With a partially sheltered walkway between the bus stop through a large shopping centre to the hotel, the place was simply convenient. The room we had was a bit small and tight, but otherwise still livable. The staff were friendly and managed their services well, even providing leftover pastries from the breakfast buffet and water to guests throughout the day.

The only real plus with this stay was the ease with which we could take public transport to Zurich main station.

Basic but accessible hotel. The rooms are small but reasonable, I find it a shame there is no free water on arrival at the room. The bed linen is not good quality so expect to sweat a lot! The breakfast is poor value, there is very little choice really. The orange juice machine has a thick layer of dust and the coffee is pretty awful. It is not bad value for Zurich.. and the shower was powerful and warm. Take it for what it is, pretty basic but does enough for a few days.

On balance, the staff are very helpful and pleasant. I found that to be the best feature of the hotel.

The hotel room itself was so very cute. It was very small like a lot of things in Europe but Im okay with that because I'm small. The bed/mattress was a bit hard so maybe the hotel might want to change that up in the near future. What i did not like was that when we arrived late at night we could not find the front of the hotel parking lot. So we were driving around for a while before we could park. This was because of contrustion going on so hopefully that gets fixed asap. The location was not far at all from downtown Zurich which was nice. Overall i would stay there in the future.

Abysmal stay in Wallisellen

We had this hotel for 4 nights and we wouldn't make such a mistake again. Lets start with what the hotel cannot change: the location. The location is very bad - an industrial area with a flyover right opposite. There is construction going on right next to the hotel.
On to the things that can be changed: everything else. We had 2 rooms with 2 people in each room. One room the A.C was too cold and in the other it was too warm and neither could be changed perfectly. The bed in the other room was lumpy and in our room the pillows weren't good. Toiletries that they claimed were offered consisted of one tiny round bar of soap. Period. There were plastic glasses to use for drinking but those were not replaced every day. Which brings me to housekeeping. Despite requesting it, the housekeeping wasn't done everyday. The towels weren't always changed.
There was no water for a whole day and they didn't fix it for the whole day! The light in the room was too dim and couldn't be changed. There aren't any places to put clothes in, just one hanging rod. The table in our room was tiny but the one in the other room was much bigger.

All in all, a shoddy experience and we would not recommend it. They could do the service much better to improve the place a bit but honestly the location is terrible.

Very tiny small rooms. Location is not in Zurich, it's in a town nearby.
Its lost in middle of new constructions and bridges, you need to spend an hour going to around it just to find the entrance.

They did not have a lot of information about places to eat locally, but there is a train station and \"mall\" type area that is accessible via the parking garage immediately next to the hotel parking lot. Inside are many places to eat and shop, some of which are open early for breakfast (take-away style). Overall I would highly recommend this location as long as you are not looking for a luxury hotel.

When booking this property I booked for an overnight stay during a long layover in Zurich. I chose this property because it seemed to be fairly new and up to date, a good price, and said breakfast was included. The hotel was hard to find because of construction going on in front of the hotel and poor signage, so we roamed around the area for quite a while and we’re ready to give up and go back to the airport when someone pointed us in the right direction. Upon arrival we checked in and were given a room on the third floor. When we opened the door to the room, someone else’s stuff was in there. We went back downstairs and the lady apologized but another employee hinted at the fact that a coworker was using the room to hookup. We were given another room in which the AC barely worked. There were no sheets on the bed in our room, and we were told that in order to have breakfast we’d have to pay. Overall I was very disappointed with my sty at this hotel. It was overpriced and the issues we encountered were not worth the price we paid.

Arrived after a horrific journey. Taxi driver could not find the hotel as it's in a very strange area. It's in a construction zone and it cost me more than 50 CHF from the airport because of that. To make things ever worse, I kept trying to phone the hotel for them to help the taxi driver and they did not pick up the phone at all.

THEN, wait for it, it gets so much worse. I arrived. I told them that they should inform their guests how difficult it is to find. They told me that the situation was ever worse as they did not have a room for me (even though I had booked of course). Time = nearly midnight. Can you imagine being told that then. No attempts were made to contact me before that.

I obviously was quite mad. They said that could actually give me a room.... Then gave me a room number. I went to it and it was a mess and not made up for a guest. Hot room. No air con. Bed unmade. Furiously went back to reception.. As the time was now midnight, it just was not feasible for me to get another hotel.

I really could not believe how rude and unhelpful the staff were. They really did not care about the massive inconvenience. Obviously I have obtained the manager's contact details and will be lodging a formal complaint everywhere possible. It should not be on Hotels.com.

Please, please do NOT stay here. It's not a good location. Rude staff. The mess with the room.. cannot believe it.

Awkward location for now

One of the challenging things about this hotel right now is the location and all the construction going on around it. It was really hard to find the hotel in the dark. The check-in was easy and the key code for the rooms is an interesting concept, but there is definitely a lack of surfaces to put items on to. The room was also super hot even though it was May and we had the A/C turned on. Price was reasonable.

The best thing about this hotel was 100% the service, nothing was a problem and the staff were so friendly. They even opened the vending machine for us when we didn't have change and allowed us to pay by card. Finding the hotel was a wee bit tricky with the construction but they do have as many signs as they can. It is the perfect location to access the city, only five minutes walk from the station and then a short trip into the city. Finally it was very affordable, much needed in a very expensive city! Would definitely recommend this spot.

Nice stay

We had a very nice stay at the B&B Hotel.
The hotel is new and the staff is very welcoming.
They have a grand spread at the breakfast. Bicher Muesli, yogurt, Fresh Bakery, fresh fruits and lots more every breakfast.
It is a bit far away from the city but manageable.

The property was clean, the staff were great, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is a bit odd but still okay. I recommend this place.

was an overnight stay. I booked it as it said on Hotels.com that the airport was 9 minutes away. It was more like 20 minutes away. It was also hidden by street works and buildings so was very difficult to find and so our taxi couldnt find the hotel. He drove us around for so long and then decided it was the wrong address and dropped us somewhere else. We then had to take another taxi back and between the two taxis the trip cost us the same as the hotel room! So I was a very unhappy guest when I eventually arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us free breakfast. The hotel is very basic. No bathroom amenities (as mentioned on Hotel.com) other than soap . The bed was quite small and not overly comfortable. The breakfast looked very good. It is a new hotel so everything is spotless and brand new. Doesnt seem to be much in the area so good for an overnight stay .
