The hotel is close to the airport but was so quiet. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was very efficient. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. The buffet breakfast is exceptional. An Aldi grocery store is about a 10 minute walk away. The air conditioning was not very effective in our room. The carpet in the room, while clean, showed wear and tear.

Overall a very good experience.

the hotel had free airport transport which was much appreciated. you do need to reserve your spot or the return to the airport. we had a good dinner at their restaurant. the pillows were awful and flat. tried folding them over too.

The hotel is modern and in a good location near the airport. The rooms were well appointed and clean, with a comfortable bed.
However, we were disappointed with the restaurant when we ate dinner. I had the soup and salad, which were tasty and fresh. My husband ordered the pork schnitzel. The advertisement showed it with sauces and French fries. It came with only the meat and fries, no sauces. He had to put ketchup on it to make it palatable. My husband had a beer and I an Aperol Spritz, where fine.
While we were eating the table to was unsteady and screws were loose underneath. My husband was able to secure it somewhat, but we had to take turns holding the table top steady, so that the food didn’t fall into our laps. There was an elderly man next to us who had the same problem with his table, and the unstable table caused him to fall and sustained injury to his leg, arm and thumb. My husband jumped up to help him stand up, but the staff did nothing. Our bill was over 100 Swiss Franks, which was a bit higher than our experience afforded.
We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was nice.
Over all, the hotel was good, but I would avoid the restaurant for dinner.

The shuttle was the original attraction, followed by price. Room was commodious, though some repairs to the bathroom door were needed (but delayed till after our departure. Although the general area is not great, the hotel amenities satisfied our needs. For people needing an airport hotel, I would recommend it very highly.

The coffee machine wasn’t cleaned at all, so it was unusable, and the bathroom had mold, making it impossible to take a shower. I even took photos of the mold just in case. And as for the airport shuttle, it was so bad I was honestly speechless.

Tile in the shower, not clean. The lamps in our room did not work properly because of failing lightbulbs. The showerhead was broken and had to be replaced before we could take a shower. Just not a pleasant experience.

Even though located a bit outside the city, however, it has great connectivity.

The rooms are spacious, staff is super helpful, they try to help the clients, example early check ins without even asking for it they offered us early check in. Kudos to the front desk staff.

Cleaning of the rooms were done daily which was great.

Just a suggestion, may be offering a microwave in the room could help warm up food or milk etc for families with kids.

Also, free shuttle to airport is a plus.

Overall, great experience and highly recommended.

The first set of rooms had not been made up. When we got keys to our second set of rooms, one key didn't work. The desk clerk acted like it was my malfunction that I didn't know how to use the key? Despite clearly opening three other doors?
The bathroom door was moldy. Room was clean enough otherwise. Convenient to transit for the city and airport.

The room was clean but a bit older than the one we had stayed in before. No fridge in the room but there was plenty of space for it. Otherwise the hotel and staff are fantastic. The airport shuttle is timely and makes your trip easy from the minute you leave the airport. I would always recommend this hotel.

First off, the staff is very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel has a great breakfast option and two very good ones as well for lunch and dinner. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel airport shuttle was perfect to and from. This is a terrific option for parties of all size. The price cannot be beat for everything that you get all under one roof.

Chose the Mövenpick on price — a fraction of the Radisson Blu directly at the terminal — and on brand expectation, as I usually find Mövenpick sits towards the premium end of Accor. This one doesn't quite hit that mark. It's a perfectly functional 4-star airport hotel, but it feels more Novotel-circa-2005 than the polished Mövenpick experience I'd expected. Industrial location, busy road — standard airport hotel territory.
Room was comfortable — good bed, nice pillows, no real complaints apart from a slightly compact, dated bathroom. A couple of housekeeping niggles: used soap from a previous guest, empty shower gel dispenser. The do-not-disturb sign lives on a wall hook rather than the door — found it after housekeeping knocked twice during my late checkout.
Worth knowing: restaurant closes at 10pm, no room service or bar snacks after that. Uber Eats works, but this is Switzerland. There's a free shuttle to the airport that runs fairly regularly, though I'm not sure it operates late. I arrived on a late flight and just grabbed an Uber — about CHF 10, quick and painless.
Staff were lovely throughout. For what I paid, this offered genuinely good value — just come expecting a solid airport hotel rather than a flagship Mövenpick and you won't be disappointed.

Very nice place near the Zurich airport. There’s a free shuttle to get you to the airport but you just need to mind the time. It’s actually accessible with the tram 10 and 12 to go to Zurich airport to catch the train to different locations. There’s staff on all the time and they can even store your luggage for you before check in time if you need to which I did. Highly recommended.

My recent stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport was unfortunately disappointing. From the moment of check-in, the service felt rather impersonal. The staff were polite but not particularly welcoming, and there was a noticeable lack of warmth or engagement. As a paying guest who carefully compared several hotels in Zurich before choosing Mövenpick, I expected a more hospitable and attentive experience.

Cleanliness in the room also did not fully meet expectations. I noticed dust on the table surfaces, and the bed itself was uncomfortable due to a noticeable joint or separation in the mattress, which made it difficult to rest properly.

Hospitality is not only about providing accommodation but also about creating an environment where guests feel genuinely welcomed and valued. During my stay, the overall atmosphere felt quite cold, with little visible effort to create a positive guest experience.

For these reasons, I would be hesitant to choose this hotel again or recommend it to friends at this stage. I hope the management will take this feedback constructively, as improvements in service attitude, attention to detail in room preparation, and overall guest engagement could significantly enhance the experience for future visitors.

The whole entire reason for staying at this hotel was the free shuttle service. So we could stay after flying and get the early trains out the next day. Despite me asking on check in about the shuttle- just come down and the next day telling us to wait the shuttle be here. turns out the shuttle only comes when pre booked (WHY DIDNT ANYONE SAY When specifically asked). NO shuttle- told only solution is to walk to the tram (not far but through a construction site and with kids and bags- a faff & not what we signed upto. Missed the train- so had to wait 1 hour and waste the day. Wouldnt stay again- incompetent

The room was exactly what we needed, a base to sleep at for 2 nights. Airport transfer was great and made it so easy after a late flight. Staff friendly and happy to help.

Good connections into Zurich with the train station not far away. We found an Aldi across the road, which was convenient for our food and drink for the days out in Zurich.

Very run down and the first room I was given the lock box for the key was sliding around and the key wouldnt work. The front desk team also loudly announces your room number which is a big no no in the hospitality industry for safety reasons. Especially when seeing a lone female checking in. i had 2 different people for the different keys I had to get and they both did it. The shuttle also doesn't drop off at departures which means you have to lug your luggage around the whole airport to get checked in. Given the quality of the room, it should have been under $100 a night.

The shuttle shuts down from 12 noon to 4 PM and our flight landed at 11:35 AM. We had to really rush from Terminal E to the main terminal, through immigration and all the way to the shuttle, which was quite remotely parked and barely made it ! We were checked in early, which was a good gesture after that experience. The room was OK, but the safe lacked batteries, for which the hotel didn't have a replacement. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station.

Starting off with the good is the airport shuttle and its convenient schedule. Reception staff was friendly. Unfortunately, I can't provide more positive comments.

I feel the pictures are very misleading. I had high hopes for a comfortable short stay in a bright colorful room as shown. However, I felt like I was in a motel. The room felt dark and outdated with old chipped furniture and safe.

The bathroom had a relatively high bathtub which in was inconvenient for me personally. I asked to change but showers were only available for disabled, which was already booked.

There was a lingering smell in the hallway and hotel itself isn't near anything. I managed to walk to a local bus station but that's all.

I would say this hotel is perhaps ok for a layover or overnight stay due to budget cost and proximity to airport.
