Very friendly staff. We arrived a little earlier than our check-in time so we inquired about luggage storage. The staff informed us that our room was ready. This was a huge help! We dropped our bags, grabbed a very helpful train station paper in the lobby, walked about 5 minutes to the train station and we were touring Zurich about 15 minutes later.

Very accommodating staff. Breakfast was fabulous. Room was perfect for 4 people which is hard to find in the area. Airport shuttle to the hotel was free but it does cost when you return to the airport. During our trip, we rented a car next to the hotel and were informed that the car rental company provides a free airport shuttle to and from the airport. The timing of this option didn't work for us so we caught an Uber. It was a cheaper alternative to the airport return fee that the hotel charges.

Train station is a 7 minute walk from the hotel, and four stops and 15 minutes later you are at the Main Station in the center of Zürich. You are literally in the middle of everything, and a train to anywhere else you want to go in Switzerland can be found. I went to Basel, Bern and Lucerne, couldn’t be any more convenient.
The cost is very reasonable, I could not find a room for one night in central Zürich for less than what I paid for my entire three night visit at the Holiday Inn Express. I highly recommend the hotel, I’ll be back.

The hotel was a good quality layover choice in Zurich. I appreciated the airport shuttles (which I have seldom if ever used given my impatience) but the efficiency and courteous handling of luggage by the driver is noteworthy.
A simply early breakfast was provided for those leaving the hotel early (eg 5am). It was not to my dietary restriction nevertheless appreciated. Finally, I chose this American brand hotel bc they had offered typical North American style beds (more plush) which was essential for someone struggling with back pain and comfort.

Stay was okay and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is acceptable. The main problem was the parking situation. There was road construction happening and that meant parking at the hotel over the road. First of all, what the staff at the Holiday Inn told me to do was not what the staff at the other hotel expected – so this left me running around and inconvenienced. Second due to the construction one had to walk around the roads about 1km + to drop the car off and then the next day alone this route with luggage – this is totally unacceptable. No forward notice about this situation and no way I could have found an alternative. Poor management overall.

We had a great time from check in to check out It was close and convenient to get to the airport. We had an issue hooking up our apple box. Called the front desk for help, they sent up maintenance. Marcin Gasiorowski came in under two minutes, had the issue fixed in no time. He was wonderful! We will be back for sure

This is a great hotel if you are getting on a flight. Not the best if you want to explore the city center. We had an unfortunate situation where the room below us had a water leak. In the middle of the night our room slowly started to heat up. When we woke up the floor was so hot we thought they turned the heat on in July. When we called down to reception, they said everything was fine but i asked to have our AC looked at. 2 hrs later someone showed up and told us it was because the room under us has hot fans running all night to dry the room out from the water leak. We left shortly after this. No compensation was offered to us.

This is by far the best Holiday Inn Express that we stayed during our travel in Germany and Switzerland. Only complain we have was the bathroom drain seems to be clogged, water drained very slow. This location worked great for my 3 nights to explore Zurich, Lucerne and do 1 long day tour to the Alps. The train is a short walk away, download the SBB app and create your profile beforehand.
