We chose this hotel because it had a swimming pool and my daughter loves to swim. It said in the description that it is for kids 16 year and older but it was a family friendly hotel because there is access to indoor pool
lol no story shot there is no swimming pool. When I spoke with the manager and showed her a copy of the description she blamed Expedia. Not once she offered any time of compensation
Also we had to beg for room service and to get clean towels and coffee cups
The only thing we enjoyed was the breakfast. Staff there were great and food was great as well
This is definitely not a two star hotel. We will not go again

The staff were brilliant. The facilities were really good. The restaurant food was great. On arrival I was asked to provide 50 CHF for any breakages etc. on departure I was told this would be added automatically. Two days later there is no sign of the 50 CHF, or any idea when I will see it!!

This hotel is very nice but they charge for a lot of amenities that are normally included and it’s not a minor amount. Parking was $20 per day per vehicle and this hotel isn’t even in the city center where that’s normally expected. The gym costs $30 per day per guest. The laundry service is laughably expensive. The staff was very polite and helpful and there is a bus stop right on the corner that will take you to the train. It’s very easy to get around. They also have a restaurant but to be honest if I’m paying the prices they’re charging I’m not eating at a hotel restaurant. Overall we had a positive experience there and would stay there again.

Overall, our stay as a family was good. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel as we were out exploring Switzerland during our short visit. The hotel was very clean, and our room was cleaned daily before we returned. The location was a bit far from Zurich, but the public transportation system there is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, so getting around was easy.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel.

Overall not a great experience. Check in was slow, some of our group got welcome drinks but not others. Even though we booked separately. Struggled to find extra duvet for our room, tea and coffee facilities were not replaced once used. No hotel bar available so nothing to do in the evening. Positives - close to the train station. Petrol station close by for snacks

Great place to stay at. A bit for from the city of Zurich but the bus station is right in front of the hotel so it is easy to commute. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A special thank you to the receptionist who helped us figure out our broken luggage, and the staff member who was always greeting us for breakfast in the morning.

Comfortable and convenient staying

Good value for money. Even though it is a bit far from city center you can still reach it in less than half an hour as you have easy access to public transportation. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel.

I had a very disappointing experience at Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Regensdorf, primarily due to the poor customer service and complete lack of care shown by the staff.

I encountered a situation that required basic understanding and flexibility from the management team, but instead I was met with indifference and unhelpful attitudes. Rather than trying to assist or show any empathy, the staff seemed more concerned with rigid policies.

What’s most frustrating is not just the lack of support, but how dismissive they were of the inconvenience caused. Hospitality is supposed to be about making guests feel welcome and supported—unfortunately, this hotel completely failed in that regard.

For a brand like Mövenpick, I expected much better. I travel frequently and this experience was far below standard. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking for a hotel that values its customers or makes any effort to resolve issues respectfully.

Location next to a fairly large shopping center and a Coop (for groceries) was very convenient. With our check-in bags from flight not coming through with us due to an airline hiccup, going shopping immediately next door to get essentials was amazing.

Pillows were very flat. Only 1 per person. Beds were extremely hard. The ac was not cool at all. The coffee maker did not have special plug that was needed to use it. The body soap in the shower was empty. No extra toilet paper.

Overall experience was average. Front desk check in girl was very pleasant however evening staff was horrible. Our room was overheated, they could not fix and assisted to change the room. Window was broken, I asked multiple times to the girl working in evening shift but she never showed up or had any customer service courtesy. We had to stay in very warm room entire night unfortunately no help was provided. They charged chf 20 Eventhough car was left outside on their parking lot.

Although the hotel is advertised as having AC in the rooms, which is something not so common on European hotels, and the room did indeed have AC, it was not as cool as it should have been and was informed by the attendant on the Lobby to just open the small window slot to help with cooling the room. We requested a fan, and it was quickly provided, but it was a small little fan that although it helped with some of the cooling of the room, it did not have a meaningful impact. Overall, the hotel was great, for sleeping in, it was somewhat centrally located between the airport and Zurich city center. The hotel did not have free parking as I thought it did, so we ended up with an additional bill that were not expecting at the end. But again, over all the hotel was great. It is connected to a small little mall that has shops, a super market and a food court for lunch and breakfast.

Having to pay 39 dollars to use the pool was crazy Expedia needs to change what this hotel says they have no airports transportation no soap to wash your hand and the door connected to the other room both doors where open and reporting to the staff and nothing happens the mini fridge was so small and was not a sound proof room

I was mistakenly given this hotel by Travelocity and it's a $70 cab ride each way. Should have been booked at the Airport location. NO useful shuttle service to either location although the shuttle bus stop sign indicates there is!!!!

Booked for 4 adults and give us 2 beds with 2 blankets had to beg for more blankets no water, the guy in reception said come down and get it second Night no house keeping everything was so terrible when we complained we had to pay for parking plus only parking was waved off. The price we paid was not worth the service provided the whole experience at movenpick was terrible.

Its a hotel outside the city/small town-taxi/uber cost ao much. The structure and the room is quite dated but still comfortable. The room is big but may need updating soon. The environment is quite but there is not much to do in the area.

Where do i begin? We booked a room for a family of 3 (1 child).we looked for hotels in Zurich with pools. Come to find kids under 16 arent allow and they charge 33 pp to use it. Not advertised. They also charge 20 a night for parking, not advertised. The rooms were incredibly hot even on the lowest temp. No door in the shower which caused a puddle during every watch. No menu in room and the skew didnt show all the items available. The food in Ciao was delicous that was the best part of the hotel stay.

We picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool. We were highly disappointed when we found out that the pool was only available for 16+ guests. This is not advertised in hotels.com description. It simply says swimming pool. It was a very hot weekend and my kids were quite disappointed.

More problematic was the room. The lobby and restaurant have definitely been renovated but the room was old, dingy, and in need of renovations. For $400 a night I was surprised of the poor quality. The shower floor was yellow and old; the tiles needed regrouting or deep cleaning; the lamp shades had burn marks from the bulb. Overall, it was pretty disappointing and I wish I went with another hotel.

We arrived at this property to be told they had sold out and had placed us at the Movenpick airport location, after I paid for an Uber to get us there. We had not been notified before our arrival. We then had to wait at least 20 minutes for a taxi to come to take us to the other location.
It was a very strange incident as there was little to no apology from the desk staff.

This property charges €33 PER GUEST to use the pool. Not mentioned on Expedia site. Booked for an overnight with my kid after missing a flight, chose this hotel specifically for a swim to make the best of the situation. Disappointing.
Otherwise it's a clean generic hotel with beds, bathrooms and an excellent breakfast buffet.

The property advertises free airport shuttle. When I called to schedule a pick up time, I was informed that they did not. They said they would give me a number for a company that would charge $50 or I could book an Uber. I specifically booked this hotel for airport transportation. They refused to give me a refund when I tried to cancel for this reason.

The facility needs to be updated especially for seniors.
Felt unsafe using the shower because there was no grab-bar to hold on to.
The bathroom sink was slightly plug and the television remote and safe needed to have the batteries change.
