Upon arrival, the staff member at the desk upgraded our room, free of charge (which was lovely). However, we were checked into a room that was not cleaned. After going back down, they moved us to a different room.
In the new room, there were “coffee” stains all over the wall beside each side of the bed. On the second day, a cleaning lady came into our room and asked us if we wanted it cleaned at 8pm? We had obviously said no given the time. Then when they did clean it the day after, the coffee mugs were not replaced nor were the coffee packets. The shower smelt very muggy and old. Overall, not impressed with this hotel.

The hotel looks very nice and has some modern updates. In the room the shower wall was stained from water and the sink was stained from coffee drops. The bed was on the firm side. There should be a USB or C plug in the room for charging phones. The restaurant was closed but the food at the bar and the bartender were great.

It’s very convenient and a very decent hotel with great staff. However, we got a room that had directly was opposite another house with people having direct view to our bed. We had to keep the curtains closed entire of the time.
Bathroom and toilet had one door. You could open only one or the other. Good for a single person but not for 2 occupants.

Kameha is rocking in Zurich

We traveled to Zurich for the Art on Ice show at Hallenstadion and stayed at this hotel, which stands out as one of the city's finest. Despite its size, the hotel offers a luxurious, intimate, and personalized experience. The staff across the board, from the front desk to food and beverage services to housekeeping, is exceptionally professional and courteous. We continue to be regulars. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay so special.

Nothing unique about this property.
It is a little dated and the rooms are not properly cleaned; our room was very dusty. The rooms are poorly designed and hallway carpeting kind of dirty

This is a mid level hotel cosplaying as a high end hotel. Strange design decisions, overpriced and not very good breakfast, several issues with room, some that took a couple days to fix, coffee cups in room were dirty with coffee stains on arrival, and bad internet connection for TV which made it very choppy. Air conditioning is not great but that is all of Switzerland.

On the plus side the beds are very comfortable and public transport is pretty close.

WILL STAY AGAIN BUT REQUEST A ROOM ON THE OUTSIDE

The hotel is very nice however our room's window faced inside towards an interior event space and privacy was compromised if you did not close the blinds/curtains. We noticed a worker walking along a corridor. These type of rooms do not allow any sunlight to show.
The bed and bedding were extremely nice and comfortable.
The hotel is very quiet and is set a CHF 25 Uber ride away from the city center.

The decor was well thought of and modern. Everything very tech savvy.The room was very attractive and comfortable.
However we stayed a week and many days there were no tea or coffee replaced in the unit. We regularly had to call for for it to be replaced. Sheets were never changed during the week.
The hotel was very close to the trams, but a good distance from most shops and restaurants.
We ordered room service 3 times and was always pleased with the meals.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing however the functionality of the room is not too great. I had to change my room twice which didn’t make a difference. They only have channels in German. They had international channels shown but they didn’t work. So for my entire stay I wasn’t able to use the TV.

Cleaning of the room was not up to standard. Either bins weren’t being emptied and towels/ bathrobes/bedsheets weren’t changed regularly. There were no tissues provided in the room apart from the bathroom.

The steam room is really bad, it has a bad smell and the steam actually burnt my foot too.

I will not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m very disappointed.

The hotel itself was great however unfortunately the service seemed to not care so much. After getting the wrong room service order delivered, i called to inform the staff and they asked me if it really mattered to me which thing I’m getting. The order was never replaced and I had to resort to discussing it at check out, where the charge was removed.

The theme is awesome. You're in Switzerland the land of banks and each room is like you're a bank vault. Covid has demolished the level of service every where and unfortunately Kameha has the same problem. Ordered room service, they delivered half of the order and totally forgot to deliver another. Dishes are left in hallways for 24 hours. Parking is small and full most of the time. Interesting to see a nice big wedding at the hotel. Guess the covid policies are not that important here. Loved the do not disturb switch and some tech gadgets in the room including the automatic exterior blackening shades. Shower was awesome too.

Welcome to the party hotel! Enter at your own risk

Did a quick overnight in Zürich with my wife and 1 year old daughter. The hotel is located in a new development outside of the city center. There is a Migros and coop nearby and the Nr. 10 and 11 tram line for easy transport to the airport or Hbf. The big problem was the massive party on our floor and the entire hotel the Saturday night we stayed. Drunk people yelling and running up and down the hall...constant yelling outside on the street, the sound of engines revving and bottles breaking lasted from 11PM to 5AM. The front desk apologized but was apathetic. After reading other reivews online, this is the weekend party spot for Swiss kids now that bars and clubs are closed. The hotel caters to them by offering cheap suites and turning a blind eye. Would not recommend to anyone (in the current situation) looking for a quiet night. Maybe it's better during the week with business travelers but was not a pleasant experience with a baby and wife wide awake all night and a powerless front desk clerk. Room was fine, as seen on website and clean. Parking CHF 36 and room service moderate (for Zürich.) Did not have breakfast, but at CHF 39/person did not seem like a good deal for some pastries and boiled eggs.

Before booking this hotel, double check directly with them which services are complimentary or for a fee. At least in the USA, if a hotel lists \"airport shuttle', that's complimentary. Not in the case of this hotel. Breakfast >30 CHF is also pretty expensive to my eyes..in other countries it is a dinner price

We booked this hotel at the last minute for a layover in Zurich for our honeymoon. It was nice that the hotel was close to the airport, since we had to be back there the next afternoon, and the staff of the hotel was nice when we arrived. Unfortunately, that is where the good ends. The hotel is decorated beautifully, but is not at all functional. Not a single channel on the TV worked. The room was incredibly hot, and when we tried to turn it down to the lowest setting with the fan on high, it didn't change the temperature at all. We had a king size bed that only had two very flat pillows on it when we arrived, and when we requested additional pillows, they sent up two more, but both were even flatter/lumpier than the original pillows. We also had two smaller sized comforters on the bed to accommodate the king size mattress, which was strange. The bedding was also very scratchy. Our \"city view\" room was a view of a construction site. We are very thankful that we were only staying here for one night, because we would've immediately switched hotels if we had booked for longer. Hotels.com also advertised this as an over $1,000/night room but discounted down to $244, which is complete false advertising. There is no way a room like this would every go for over $1,000/night, and the actual hotel website does not advertise those prices either.

Overnight stay in Zurich before take off home

Pros: clean, modern and nice deco, close to airport. Customer service was friendly and good.

Just to leave a feedback that we had 2 adults and a 2 year old child. A bed was arranged and charged to us at check out without first checking if we need it at check in as our child actually sleep together with us on the king size bed which is comfortable for us all the time when we travel. The child’s bed cost as much as the room at chf 200 hence it would be polite to ask before arranging. The shower head is broken and this was important to us as ours was an overnight stay before flying the next day and we just wanted a good shower before flying off early the next morning.

Stepped into a lobby full of fanciful and creative art. The lobby is also on your way to the conference rooms where there was a business conference in-progress and thus a bit busy during our stay (we couldn't get last-minute spa appts). We stayed in the \"fair play\" themed suite which was fun for our game-loving child. After checkout, there wasn't staff available to help with baggage or doors, and summoning a ride to the airport \"in 7-10 mins\" ended up being twice as long.

Beautiful new hotel, much nicer than the pictures. Staff were wonderful especially Joy. Shower was amazing and bed was soft king size. Let me check in early and check out late as wasn’t feeling well. They took really good care of me and I’d highly recommend this place. It’s one block from tram so easy access to the city.

The staff is great, they make you feel welcome from the moment you step to check in. The receptionist was very friendly, caring and seemed to be concerned about my needs and well being (two thumbs up) The food at the restaurant is top of the line, don't bother going out to find a good place to eat because it's within steps from your room.
I plan on returning to Zurich and I have chosen Kameha as my official hotel when travelling abroad in Zurich.

Great hotel. Staff are warm, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and went until later in the morning if you want to sleep in. Though it's in a business area, it's very close to the tram which can take you anywhere you want to go.

Great service, strange decor

The location is good if you are staying for business, between the airport and downtown. Personally, I thought the decor was so strange and just absolutely ugly, although it didn't come as a surprise as it it shown accurately in the pictures. The reception is very uninvitjng with a very strange configuration.
The nicest was the bar and restaurant, and I must say, the staff are extremely nice and the service absolutely excellent.

The cigar smoking room should have a second door filter to avoid that the entire bar area smells like old cigar ashes.

A++ service hotel with wonderful amenities

Hotel is located about 5 tram stops south of Zurich Airport and we spent the night at this hotel before flying out on an early flight next morning. There's no free shuttle provided by the hotel but one can be arranged through concierge for a very reasonable price (i.e. 20 CHF for 4 adults and bags). Hotel is immaculately decorated, rooms comfortable and clean (has AC!!!), hotel restaurant and room service was great, especially when keeping in mind dining is expensive in general in Switzerland and you're also receiving top notch customer service when dining at this property. check-in and check-out was fastidious and easy. Neighborhood is somewhat mix of residential and commercial area but you have 2 supermarkets nearby for convenience, tram stop is 5 minute walk away, and I would prefer to stay here for excursions into Zurich downtown area rather than pay top dollars to stay in old hotels downtown

Our stay at this hotel was mixed. We had two stays at the hotel. We chose it because it was close to the airport and reported an airport shuttle. The information failed to state that it was a city shuttle and was rather expensive. The young staff are cheerful and helpful, but they failed to follow through on our wakeup call and we found ourselves very rushed to catch our plane on our second stay. We needed to go to the train station at the end of our first stay and the young lady at the desk gave us incorrect tram directions. We ended up transferring to a bus in town with the help of a local gentleman which cost us time and anxiety. The hotel is very isolated and we were forced to eat at the hotel which is also quite expensive. And the Michelin-rated one was closed for vacation (no one informed us prior to our stay and we were looking forward to it). The manager was helpful when we were disappointed and gave us a discount and bought us drinks, after much complaining. We decided to retain the reservation for our second and final stay after the dinner. The spa consists of a steam room which was broken...so no spa. On our final stay, the shower head was broken in our room. As I was standing in the shower, I didn't call for assistance. They advertise as a luxury hotel (with luxury prices), but it is more like an airport hotel.

Excellent choice near ZRH

This is an excellent hotel not far from the ZRH airport. There is an underground garage for parking, and daily fee is CHF 18 (the first 90 min after checking in is free to allow luggage transfer). The check-in process was quick and simple. The receptionists are all very efficient and helpful. I want to name Noreen in particular, who helped me call the local rental car agent to effect a minor change of return time. This was something l could not accomplish myself for 2 days because of a lack of additional phone numbers. Thank you, Noreen. Another receptionist helped me clarify the last minute flight/airline changes by Airberlin - what a subpar airline! There is a shuttle to arrange for direct transport to ZRH airport in early morning at a very reasonable price (forget about using UberX). The room is very quiet. The shower-bathroom design is excellent! The mattress is very comfortable. Wifi signal was strong. We enjoyed the stay tremendously and would not hesitate to return.

We ordered in room breakfast and it never showed up. We left for the airport hungry and disappointed. The front desk lady told us to give our bags to the bellman and she instructed him that we were going to the airport. He took our bags upstairs to a room so when our airport ride arrived, our bags were missing. Frustrating end to our vacation.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The room was cozy. The rainfall shower was AMAZING. Only complaint is that there aren't that many restaurants around the area, but the hotel was very close to tram/bus stations.

Amazing hotel and luxury

I stayed in kameha grand zurich for 8 days the room was just so perfect specially the rain shower with aquarium cleaniness was great too me and my husband had unfortabble time there but the staff there is not good i haf to call them many times for 1 thing such as a water bottle i had to call them 3 times and this happened many times i was dissapointed i paid so much to stay there but the staff is lazy i often had cold breakfast and the receptionist doesn't do what you tell her they do what they like i asked to 1 sided fry eggs with bread slices not bread roll and they sent me full fried eggs with bread rolls n the eggs were cold

Wonderful staff, exceptional hotel

The hotel is located at the city fringe (accessible by a 20 min tram ride) but close to the Zurich Airport. Hotel interior deco/architecture and design is modern, very classy, and exceptionally comfortable to stay in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Convenient Modern Hotel

Great hotel conveniently located a block away from the street car. From there it's about a 20 minute ride to central Zurich and about 10 minutes to the Zurich Airport!

Reservation system down when I arrived. Waited for over an hour. Front desk never bothered to tell me that reservation system was back up. Went to bar for a drink and inquired about ordering something from restaurant. Was lectured on why I couldn't do that and then immediately noticed plates of food being delivered from restaurant to others in bar/lounge area. I'm in Zurich often for business. Will definitely not return to this hotel.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to

To start, the hotel is styled to perfection. Every single detail is taken into consideration and executed at 100%. Whether it is style, cleanliness, creativity, or outstanding staff, nothing is less than perfect. As soon as you enter, you are taken aback by the boutique style of this hotel. Once you get to your room or suite, the amazement continues! The only hotels that ever came close to this hotel's detailed perfection were in Las Vegas & Montreal. The staff were very courteous. We spent the night at the bar because the weather was cold. The quality of the food, drinks, and shisha at the lounge were outstanding. Special thanks to Shayan at the bar who made the whole experience perfect by going above and beyond to accommodate our requests.

All in all, this hotel is great if you are visiting or on business. The location is not far from the airport and easily accessible by TRAM if need be. You can also use the TRAM to get to downtown Zurich. There are taxis everywhere you go as well. I will definitely return on my next trip to Zurich.
