The bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way and I tripped and fell because the tile wasn’t even around the bathroom door entryway. There were white stains all over the couch cushions in the room. Probably wouldn’t stay there again.

This was my second stay at the Courtyard of Columbus, Ohio. The only one thing I would improve upon is keeping the rooms clean. My first stay, my room was very clean. I used the white towel to dry the bathroom floor and there was no trace that I had used it to wipe the floor. My second visit, my room wasn't quite as clean. The full length mirror had dirty finger prints all over it. It appeared a small child had previously stayed in the room and the white towel didn't fair as well this go around. The bedside table closes to the door was sticky like someone had spilled a drink and left it. Overall, those are minor details just something the staff should be aware of. When the minor details start to be overlooked, its not long before the minor details become bigger details. A prefect example of this is your neighboring hotel. I will never stay there again! It was the filthiest place I have ever stayed. This is definitely not the case with this hotel. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. My stay was great. I absolutely love the balcony. I will definitely stay with you again.

I purchased the overnight stay that included breakfast, but when we arrived, we were told they did not give free breakfast. I was told that some of the third party sites put that on their amenities for this hotel, but it really wasn’t true. After a bit of discussion and showing my reservation confirmation showing free breakfast was included, the hotel manager directed the front desk person to give us the breakfast voucher. It worked out ok, but this needs to be resolved for future reservations.

Stayed because we were attending a wedding and the wedding party blocked rooms off at this hotel. There is no continental breakfast. Coffee at the \"lounge\" was expensive and horrible to the point we threw it away and went to the gas station to get coffee, and all food selections were outrageously expensive. Pool heater was reading 82, but the pool was more like 65...we had about 7 kids that were very disappointed they could not swim. Bed was mediocre at best and the decor, although modern, was very busy and was not very comforting, actually the exact opposite. On the plus side they did allow us to check in early and the property was very clean. In booking through this site we ended up paying $60.00 more per night than the rest of the wedding guests. For $205.00 a night I guess I expected more, especially when there is another hotel chain next door with a great breakfast and super comfy beds. I am chalking it up to a learning experience, but next time I will know!

What I liked the most was the patience of the front desk check in that evening. I'm sorry I do not remember the person's name but she was Superior throughout - from the check in, accommodating our needs and she also helped doing other things, like assisting with table service and cleaning up. It was a rather large wedding party gathering and I noticed that all staff pitched in to do a variety of things. Staff was excellent.

The room I received was NOT as described by hotels.com. I thought I was getting a \"king suite\"...king bed, pull out couch, fridge and microwave. Received king bed, and fridge. Front desk did provide a microwave upon request. Everything at the hotel itself was fine..no problems and extremely quiet. When booking through a third party you might not get what they describe. Balcony was nice but it does need a good cleaning....lots of spider webs and eggs in corner and cigarette butts from previous occupants. Also, disability access rooms should be closer to exit/entrance.

My opinion I think you should have free breakfast in the morning and then have lunch and dinner for them to buy at that Grill that would be very nice. My heater didn't work very good in the room we went to a wedding Saturday night turn down the heat and when I got back to my room it was freezing in there I woke up with a very bad cold and they didn't even offer to conversate what I went through I woke up freezing and we got back late from the wedding and was very tired i just covered up and fell asleep

I have stayed at many Marriott Courtyards and usually have a great experience. This one was extremely disappointing. My first room smelled awful (like mildew) so I asked for another room. My second room was better but still had a mildew smell to it. The pillows smelled dirty. I'm not convinced the sheets had been changed. I slept on towels which I laid all over the bed. I will not stay here again.

This is a gorgeous new Marriott. Just do not stay in one of their handicapped accessible rooms. I am fortunate to not require one of these at this time but the hotel was over booked and that is what I got. No problem I have stayed in many similar accessible rooms at other hotels, no problem it was a busy week. However the whole bathroom flooded during my quick shower. Took more time to clean and dry up the floor in the entire bathroom then it did my what I would hope to be a simple shower. I feel bad for the truly handicapped that needs these rooms no way is this safe for them
