Staff were nice upon arrival. Room was as expected. In room no USB ports or lamp plug ins for cellphone. Also one of the bed lamps did not have a bulb in them. Brought my fire stick couldn't use outlet was too far away. Very conveniently located by the freeway and gas stations. Not far from grocery stores.

smoke alarm was removed with wires hanging from ceiling. bed sheets were filthy. asked to switch rooms, which they did. the bed was even more dirty and the mattress protector had brown stains all over it. electrical outlet plate was gone, leaving the outlet and wires exposed. asked for a refund.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, even other Red Roof Inn's hit this by far was the absolute worse one. I asked for joining rooms, didn’t get it. The front entrance area smelled awful. The front girl was nice but that was it. Here's a list of just some things wrong with this hotel:
1. Rooms were completely disgusting. We switched rooms because of dirtiness all to get even another dirty two rooms. They smelled of mold. I went to the store and got bleach to wipe things down. It did nit help. Between the curry smell, the mold and the dirtyness of the rooms, it was unbearable.
2. All linens were dirty and stained. It looked like the previous person there, the lines were left. Towels filfty, sheets had pee, blood and other stains on them.
3. Heat didnt work. You turned it on and the burning pee smell was horrible. We had no heat.
4. Bathtubs were filfty. Looks like they have never been cleaned.
5. Patched up holes in all the walls. Some of the floor was even missing.
6. Some of the outlets didn’t work.
7. Lamps full of dust.
8. Landline phone didn’t work at all. You couldn't dial the front desk if you wanted to.
9. Cockroaches on the floor. A couple were dead, a couple more alive.
10. Bullet holes in one of the rooms on the wall.
11. Refrigerator so dirty.
12. Dried blood on the lampshades.
This hotel should be condemned. It is absolutely the worst hotel i have ever seen in my life. The area itself is ok and close to the highway but do not stay here ever.

When we arrived there was 3 policemen on the property. We asked the front desk and was told one of the customers was unruly. Once that person was removed. The police stayed another 3 hours. The room was dirty both the sink and shower constantly leaked water could not shut off. This has been ongoing because there was bad water stains. It seems this hotel is be used for criminal activity. We considered leaving but was so tired from traveling just wanted to sleep. Believe we should be refunded and also Orbitz should remove this from your list of motels.

The pool was closed. The bedding was stained. There was a noise from the plumbing that happened intermittently all night! The noise was from the plumbing in the bathroom. The ceiling above the bed and the walls in the bathroom had stains on them (that could have been cleaned). The bathroom door was broken around around the handle as if someone tried to get in. I stayed in room 225. I reported the noisy plumbing

Overall, our one night stay was good. The mini fridges in both rooms were frozen over when we got there, but they were still working. In one room, the microwave plate was either taken out or stolen. Other than that, our check-in and check out went smooth.

First room wasn’t a King as requested, room smelled horribly and mold in bathroom.
Second room…..A dump, dirty, mold in bathroom disgusting, bath tap non stop dripping so rust in tub, soap dish gone from wall. Hair dryer didn’t work.
End table lights….one had a red bulb and one had multiple colours that swirled on ceiling when you put it on.
Returned both bulbs to office and they just put same back later that day. Have stayed here multiple times in the past when visiting family. This was the absolute worse.
One positive, the bath towels were nice.

Asked for an early check in, was told $50 fee to do so. Then was told it is a corporate policy, followed up with corporate, it is not, it is up to the individual property. Then was told we could check in an hour early for no fee, when arrived , would not let us . Stayed three nights, never emptied our trash can at all. Did not clean up or replace wash cloths or towels . Had trouble with the card reader on the door. Property is poorly maintained.
It is in a nice area, quiet, felt safe.

Was here from thursday to monday with 4 people. Toilet broke friday. Told office. They didnt come \"fix it\" till sunday. Then sunday the toilet now leaks all over the floor. So our towels were soaked. Was told we would get a discount for our issue. Went to check out and guess what. No discount. Wont be back. Not very clean. Bedding stained and pillows are rocks.

First of all, I never leave poor reviews, but for this place I'll make an exception. I'll try to make this short but informative.

I booked the hotel on Sunday. My sister, niece, and I were just looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Columbus before Sonic Temple where we were staying elsewhere for the festival. After driving for 5 hours we arrived around midnight and were ready to crash. The check-in process took around half an hour and the clerk had to make a multiple calls to someone for some reason. Finally he took us to our room. With the lights off it didn't look too bad but once we brought our things in and turned them on we gasped. There were multiple stains on the beds, it was dusty and musky, had a weird smell, and didn't really look like it was cleaned at all. There were a bunch of people outside watching us as well. It just didn't seem safe. If it were myself I might have just grinned and bared it but with my family, no way.

We then packed our things up and told the clerk we couldn't stay there. He said he would process a full refund and i should receive it in 24-48 hours.

Only reason I gave service a 2 is because he seemed to try and he said it was his second day.

You would have thought with a big weekend they would have been on their A game but they extremely dropped the ball. After calling around for sometime we eventually found another hotel an hour away... would highly not recommend!

Not a great experience! The sheets were stained and dirty no pillow cases pillows were dirty the tub was dirty the bathroom door had animal scratches red paint splatters on the lamp shade the tv was inatalled crooked and no extra toilet paper! The neighbors next door were so loud! The bed was really uncomfortable! Also my kept failing i had to get a new key everytime i tried to open the door! I did not call the front desk becuase ive seen reviews like mine and the people who run this place dont fix anything so why bother thats why i rather write a review!

My son and I were in Westerville for a College Football Combine.

We were awoken at 5:00 am by the sound of running water pouring into our bathroom through the light fixture from the room above us.

Maintenance came to the room.

My son didn't get nearly enough sleep, which negatively impacted his performance at the camp that I paid over $400 for, plus equipment, and I demand a refund immediately.

The rude and inconsiderate desk clerk told me \"well, you slept in the beds, the room above you leaks\".

This is beyond disgraceful.

You should be ashamed of treating people like this.

I fully expect my money to be refunded, plus an additional stipend for the damage you did to my son.

The beds were super dirty, with dirt and stains and hair. The room smelled like cigarettes. The bathroom sink was being held up by a two by hour and while in the room for the 5 minutes a flea jumped on my hand. I immediately asked for a refund. We will see if I get my money back. Definitely did not meet the expectations that were portrayed online. Luckily we could get a hotel room at a super nice place across the street.

Never Again!

When I went to check in at approximately 715pm, the front lobby was dark. A younger person checked me in and I paid with cash. She then asked me for a $100 cash deposit for the room. Now there is no room service, etc, so my thought was that it was for a pet deposit. I did not have a pet with me which I disclosed SEVERAL times. So another younger person came out, asked me if I had pets, and told me that it was required to have a cash deposit. I told them I did not have it and then asked for my money back to go to another hotel. I already had a bad vibe because of the darkness in the lobby and the big plastic barrier they had all the way across the front desk. I understand this could be for COVID, but it also could be for their protection. This did not present as being a good area of Columbus. So they would not give me my money and then an older lady came out, asked me if I had pets (again) and then said I could put the $100 on a card but it would take a week to go back on my card. I was not able to do that either. I again asked for my money back and they would not give it back. The older woman finally waived the deposit and just told me not to smoke in the room. I don’t smoke. This is the only reason I gave them 2 stars for service.
When I get into the room I wash my hands and go to use one of the 2 washcloths provided. One of them was dirty and the other had a pubic hair stuck to it. So that was out. Overall I felt very uncomfortable in the room and I did not feel safe

My room was not clean. I went to walmart at bought cleaning supplies to wipe things down. hair in the shower, floors were sticky, sheets were stained. the staff that checked me in was nice but the guy that was there overnight was rude. i asked for my sheets to be replaced and he said “ im front desk not housekeeping” crazy. i really wanted my money back but didn’t want to ruin the night with my family.

This was not what the pictures looked like. The pillows, towels, and sheets all had stains and the floor had a film. The entire room smelled like cigarette smoke, so much so I was afraid we would get charged the fee. Just overall not what I have experienced at other Red Roof Inn properties and it was VERY expensive which is unusual as well.

The room was so dirty. Floors were so bad I wouldn’t put my bare feet down. Dirt set in the corners. Toilet leaked and was not stable. Air conditioner smelled like pee. One of the worst place I could have stayed. I didn’t read the reviews or look at stats before reservation. Lesson learned. I don’t mind an older motel or hotel as long as it’s clean but I have nothing nice to say about this place.

The room was nice when you walked in; however, the chair at the desk had burn holes in it, the back of the bathroom door was water damaged, the shower curtain didn't quite cover or stay in place, toilet seat needed fixing, and the outlet in the changing area, where the blow dryer was didn't work. I booked this place for its convenience and value, but you get what you pay for and in some cases less the room smelled like it was used as a smoking room and then they attempted to clean unsuccessfully the mat as you walk in was stained and musty, the floorboards are separating the linens were stained the pillows were gross. There were no tissues. The towels were stained. The tub was rusty in a spot unclean throughout did not stay the full night. This hotel is in Westerville, which is a very nice area. I expected better but was sorely disappointed.

The rooms smelled of cigarettes and pot. One room had all the bath fixtures on the ground. After checking in my room was given to someone else who bardged in on us and then we had to get new keys. Rooms took 1 hour after check in time to be ready.
