It is definitely a get what you pay for hotel. Random stuff in the room was falling apart like the dresser, the beds felt like sleeping on cardboard, you only get two flat pillows per bed. We spilled some water on the ground and used our hotel towels to soak it up and when we picked the towels back up, they were completely brown. The location is nice because of how close to everything it is. Internet doesn’t like to connect sometimes and will also tell you that you have too many devices on it. By far not the worst place I’ve ever stayed, but I probably won’t rebook this one. It’ll do for a cheap place if you don’t have many other options.

At this property I had the privilege of having my Esa pet stay while I was at work just had to have him in his kettle and I experienced the good and bad gas station next door 24 hours also had a time use Lyft it cheaper than Uber here and if you busing be aware the bus doesn’t stops at the gas station or motel be prepared to walk bout a mile to bus stop . The bus company says the more we complain be a better chance of getting a stop between the gas station and hotel . It beautiful the customer service is well nice people no one stays any longer than they did too.here it’s and extended stay witha 2 idle stove top and regular refrigerator. Table 2chairs to eat tv Chester draw lamp and alarm clock.

The TV wouldn't come on. I called the front desk numerous times. No answer. Go all the way down and tell them, they explain how to make it work. I do it and it's all in Spanish and still won't work. Try calling again, no answer. Go all the way back and she comes and fixes it.

Then I sit on the bed. Are you serious? Weird cheap metal bed frames but plastic on the mattress. Every time you move it sounds like a diaper. Kept me up all night long.

Then while I'm awake at 3 am, I go to the bathroom and flip the light on and a roach goes running. So I kill that but now I'm up for the night cause I'm not about to fall asleep and have bugs crawling on me.

Worst stay at a hotel I have ever had. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The tv never worked. The front desk personal were too kind and with an awesome disposition to help, unfortunately we couldn’t be able to watch a single channel on the tv. Also the WiFi service should be able to connect enough devices per reservation, and not just one (free) per room. The neighborhood around it feels very safe and you have a bus stop just 4 minutes walking.

The cabinet drawers were busted and missing the fronts in my room. There was no remote control so the TV could not be operated. By 11 o’clock at night there was no staff on the premises. No one answered the phone at the front desk either. I asked for a full refund and I’m hoping to get it.

It took me over an hour to check in. I did not have a working remote for my room. Then my TV wouldn't work, because there wasn't a cable box. I asked him to switch me to another room they said they were full. Okay fine, no problem. I said well I really need a TV. If not I feel like I should have gotten some type of discount. He said he could have maintenance come in the next day and look at it. I reminded him that I was leaving in the morning but I would really like a TV for the night. So he said he would go try to find a cable box. He came back with a cable box he finally was able to get my TV working. Which by this time it was after 7:00. I had checked in around 6:00. There is missing front parts to the drawers in the kitchen. There was a roach in the bathroom. I took a picture of it and show the lady the next morning when I checked out and all she did was apologize.

Arrived to find that someone cancelled my booking. Then, had to wait to see if another room was available. After 40 minutes of giving front desk information. The computer \"crashed\" and I was asked to come back in about an hour or two. THAT, was not good. I return to finally get checked into a room at 7pm. ( intially, I arrived at 4:30)
I wish I knew this hotel was an \" extended stay\" hotel. Never saw those words on the website. The place is located in a very nice area, which made me think the hotel would also be nice. Boy, was I wrong. Run down. People moving out. Marijuana smell. Cigarette stale smoke lingered in my room, the hall. Bed was a platform, unusaual for a hotel and uncomfortable. No food service, breakfast. No amenities what so ever. I was shocked coming from a Hotels.com hotel. Ive always had nice, clean amenity serviced hotels with them.
TV didnt work. Young nice man at the front desk had to get a cable to connect it for me!
My bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke coming from the sink. Yelling in the hall around 3am. Loud talking outside my window around 1am. Couldnt go back to sleep. That hotel has no business being in that nice area. Its deceptive. I do not recommend anyine staying here, unless you're desperate. Very unpleasant, surprising unknown details that were left out of the description on the web site.

This was a truly terrible experience. The hotel claimed that our reservation was canceled due to overbooking. We hadn’t received any prior communication, but they insisted they had already notified us via email.

When I mentioned that I hadn’t received any email and asked to use the Wi-Fi to check my inbox, they even denied me access, saying I wasn’t a hotel guest.

In desperation, I went to a nearby McDonald’s to use their Wi-Fi and booked another hotel through their website. Unfortunately, due to the last-minute reservation, we ended up staying at a worse hotel for the same price.

I definitely won’t be booking this hotel again.

Stay Away from this WoodS pring Suites - Columbus North!
1. This place is permeated with the smell of skunkweed marijuana. Stinks up your all you cloths, causes you to cough and burns your eyes at times.
2. Half of the lights in the room were burnt out; could hardly see in the sleeping area.
3. In the morning, no hot water in the sink. As I ran the water it started to flow out from under the sink across the floor.
4. In the kitchenette there was a draw missing; just a blank whole.
5. Several large bugs occupied the bathroom when we checked in.
We checked out first thing in the morning; cutting our trip short.

My reservation was made to an overbooked hotel.

I arrived around 1140pm to find that the front desk/check in closes at 11pm. There is no self check in available either. There was a sign hanging beside a phone that says to dial ### for after hours check in. I called 3x but no answer, then the phone rings back. I pick up and am told it's the manager on duty... He looked up my reservation and told me there were no rooms available and he already cancelled the reservation and I would not be charged. However 2 days later I noticed I was charged and called Hotels.com to ask to please get that fixed. It took 4 days total to get the refund. And if course I was not able to search for another room because by the time I left the woodspringit was after midnight.

Booked 2 rooms. Upon arrival was told that we only get one now bc they overbooked. I was never notified of this until we got there to check in. Meanwhile we frantically searched for other hotels but everything was booked. We had no where to go. Suddenly the front desk had a room available. The rooms are dirty, smell like smoke, there is evidence of drug use in the rooms. Needle marks all over, crack pipe burns on different things in the room. In the morning the entire building smelled of pesticide. No breakfest, no hairs dryer, no coffee pot, no ice box, no extra towels or toiletries, blanket stained, fooor filthy. Overall one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The photos on the website are extremely deceptive as it must have been taken when the place was first built and never stayed in. Do not recommend.

Dead bugs on bathroom floor, drywall/paint peeling around the shower from water damage with mold all over it, mattresses extremely uncomfortable, room smelled damp and musty, hallways and elevator had a weird smell also. I understand you get what you pay for and this place was definitely on the cheaper side, but i still feel that some of these issues should have been addressed before booking a guest.

The first room they showed us was disheveled, and occupied by someone the night before. Never been cleaned! The second room reeked of urine. Finally after the :rd room (Smelled like feet) we just conceded, my wife cleaned the room herself. To top it off I was Supposed to get $31 back, still waiting to see that money. Steer clear of this ratchet extended stay. You can thank me later.

The staff were nice and friendly. They did what could to accommodate without going outside of “company policies”.. But some of the policies of this company are absolutely horrible. This hotel should not be considered as an extended stay. An extended stay hotel should feel as “close to home” as possible. This was furthered from tht. We booked for 19 nights and I had to make an appointment to see my chiropractor immediately after. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. We had to beg for extra pillows because each bed is only allowed 2, and they were extremely flat. We had to bring dirty towels downstairs to the lobby twice per day. And once we told “We just gave you fresh towels yesterday.” Are we not allowed to wash our bodies twice per day? No dishes, pots, paper towel. No housekeeping. Just horrible overall. I will never stay at another WoodSpring ever. I could on and on about how dirty and horrible this hotel was.

Room sparse, no lamps, bed on 4 supports a foot off the floor (never have seen that at a hotel), blood stains on sheet, cigarette burns on comforter, cig stains on vanity in bathroom, room smelled like smoke (room was nonsmoking). The hotel overall was clean but our room still smelled like smoke and was in need of some repairs. There was no toilet paper at all in our bathroom. There was also not a staff person at the desk present just a phone number to call if we needed assistance. The front desk worker, when we encountered him was friendly. We also had several people in our group and all of us had issues in our rooms. It was all in all a strange experience.

Don’t stay here!

We arrived Friday night, late at 8pm. we were told the room we reserved at Expedia had had an explosion in an outlet and probably wasn’t safe to stay. There was no other rooms available.The parking lot was empty. When I inquired, they said they had no cleaners, and only a certain number of rooms were clean. We were informed we would not be charged because we had booked through Expedia, but we were charged for one night and did not spend the night there!!

This is more of an extended stay hotel. The rooms are like mini apartments. The one I was in was missing drawers, had holes in the wall, and fluids on the wall opposite the toilet with the trash can. It wasn’t clean and I won’t book this type of hotel again.

The property was… interesting.

There was stuff in the windows, broken blinds, a broken window. It looked very ran down and not maintained. We couldn’t tell if it was a hotel or if it was a bad apartment building. We actually ended up cancelling our reservation upon arrival and stayed down the street at a nicer hotel.

I checked in late Friday before a dinner date. At age 65 I've stayed in hundreds of hotels. I have never entered a hotel room deemed ready that smelt noxious, like puke and death. I immediately contacted the front desk to tell them I needed another room. But was notified there weren't any rooms available. There was a home Ohio state football game that weekend and the hotel rates at that time nearly tripled in other hotels. I am convinced that that my room should not have been approved safe for occupancy, and that the building inspector and Osha should be notified immediately, as I am not inflicted with a respiratory infection. And I respectfully request a refund.

We arrived at this property only to be told our room was cancelled. We were traveling from out of town to an event. There were not other places we could stay. Hotel staff said we should of received a call. This call was placed on my voicemail but stated nothing about cancellation only what our reservations were. The itinerary number was 72353585082665. I believe Expedia needs to compensate for this issue that left us in our car to sleep. I expect a email in return explaining how this issue is going to be taken care of.

The property was absolutely disgusting. One room we were offered was said to have been cleaned and was covered in dark spots and random puddles of hair (clearly not cleaned well). The other room smelled awful which was apparently due to the carpet being recently cleaned. The only bright side was Conny who worked there. She was understanding and made no excuses for how poorly the rooms were kept. During my stay I overheard someone say that something was stolen from their truck. This was a run-down place with poor facilities and rooms even at a two-star rating. Highly reccomend booking elsewhere.

The condition of this hotel is…neglected. The hallway had a terrible odor. The linens were thin and we ended up requesting a second blanket. A drawer was missing from the built-in dresser. There was graffiti (aka: tags) on the hallway, on a bulletin board, etc. We originally booked three nights at this venue but left in the morning after one night even though it was clear we would not be issued a refund. Because we were in the state for my father’s memorial service, we had to stay in the area. We booked two more nights at the Hilton Garden Inn Easton using the Hilton app. I wish I had taken photos b/c my review here does not capture the run-down state of this establishment.

It was extremely dirty. There was trash in the elevator and hallway. The sheets were not clean . One of the dresser drawers was missing. There was crumbs in another drawer. The bathroom floor was not clean. If I hadn’t been so tired I would have left.

The only thing we liked was that the receptionist was VERY friendly. The entry way, hallways, and our room all smelled like smoke; perhaps pot smoke. My wife could not breathe very well upon entry to our room. We sprayed lysol, she used her albuterol inhaler, all to no avail. We left after about twenty minutes and checked into a different hotel. Also, there was a giant stain on one sheet, the beds were uncomfortable, and the carpet had not been swept.

we liked the view of the sun set and sun rise through the window/ shades. the staff members were very courteous.
we did not like the initial awful smell of cigarette smoke
in the hotel room- aware we requested a smoking room -
this was the worst we've smelled. like we were in an ash tray. but we got use to use it. then the parking lot truck music was loud and went on for hours through the nite.

No phone or working television. The bed was ridiculous & on a metal frame- it felt like a roll away cot. No ashtray in the smoking room. Room was freezing cold, the bed had a thin sheet & thinner blanket. They told me the cost was $65. I didn’t even stay the night. I’ve been overcharged for a night of aggravation. I should be refunded! This was my first time using Expedia. It’ll be my last as well. Why was I charged over $100????

In general a nice place to stay. Main problems is the strong smoking smell on the hallway of the non-smoking rooms. Inside the room wasn't smelly and the room appeared clean. Room appearance could improve with some maintenance. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet enough for a good night sleep even though it was on the first floor.

Noise factor and cleanliness were the sore spots. Person checking us in could not find the reservation, did not know what nights they were for, and just seemed incompetent when it came to online reservations.

They don't offer clean sheets or tawels on daily basis. you have to pay for all these services. It is not a regular motel or hotel. It is for long stay cases. Some of the tenants are there for a longtime because they have to other choice.

We had reservations a weeek in advance for a double bed so my son could have a bed to sleep in an when we got there we got a single bed so my son slept in the floor for two nights was not happy
