My only problem was my key didn’t work the second nite and I had to drive back around from the back parking and wait over 25 mins for the clerk to come back to the desk to fix my key, he left nothing saying he had left the desk and it was 1:30am and I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed.

I usually stay here when in Columbus our room did not have the amount of towels and things we needed and the dish washer was full of dirty dishes from the previous stay. Room was not as clean as it should be with crumbs under the table and and the room did not look vacuumed or swept.

The rooms are a little outdated no USB to hook up electronics, the side walks were covered with snow no safe place to walk. Whoever did the plowing did a horrible job couldn’t park close because they used the close parking spots to store the snow bank

The hotel and room was dirty. Also, there were uneven floors by the air conditioner (possible water damage). The parking lot had very limited parking and not well lit, which is likely why it a prime spot for car break-ins here lately, which made me feel unsafe to stay. Thankfully, once I addressed my concerns, the hotel did refund me my money.

We walked in the main lobby and it immediately smelled like weed. Had we not prepaid, we would’ve turned around and walked out. The location is excellent. Right off the interstate with tons of restaurants and shops around. But there are lots of other hotels there that probably
don’t smell like a Grateful Dead concert. It’s an extended stay hotel, so probably should’ve been a sign that people live there and feel more comfortable doing recreational habits.

We were taken aback at check-in when told that the next morning as of 8am the water could be shut off for a few hours. That is the time we needed to get up and get ready to leave, so that was quite inconvenient. We were given a piece of paper explaining but not offered any reduction in cost or other benefit. When I later asked the desk staff about this the guy was less than enthusiastic about the topic and shrugged it off, saying he couldn't do anything. He then proceeded to ask if we wanted to check out...at 7pm. It was just kind of weird.

It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, big chains and smaller stores. Easy freeway access to 71. The room was good and well-appointed. I like the larger bottles of soap, conditioner, etc., instead of those tiny one-use items. It seems so much more eco-friendly. All the staff I spoke with were amazingly friendly and helpful. There was a noisy room near mine. At midnight to 1 or 2am, walls and stomping and my pans rattling. I dont know where it came from. After they left, it was very quiet.
There was also a shop in the lobby for some food items.
I would choose thise hotel and location again.

Candle wood suites @Polaris was filthy inside and out ! Stayed there for 5 nights and never seen housekeepers anywhere ! Halls elevators, trash cans overflowing ! Room was sketchy , hair in bathroom .. I had to run to store and buy cleaning supplies
AC was better than outside but not by much in the room ..would not stay again

we were called the day of because you over booked to have our room changed which was fine as long as we had a room. When we got there two other guests complained of no hot water. The next day our brother in-law who was also coming to stay got to their room and were in there for over and hour or two were told that you guys over booked and they had to find another hotel. While they were down at the desk another couple walked into their room to find someone else already had that room. To top it off we had the fire alarm go off at 5am and I do feel that it was super unorganized. I've stayed here many many times ok ver the last 10 years and I think the hotel has just gone down a lot. Its not a terrible place but I think I'll have to find another place to stay. The cleaners don't smile, they just give off a very rude vibe.

Our stay was okay. The toilet was not totally clean and we came back from being away all day and noone had made our bed nor did we have any clean towels for the next day. We called the front desk and they wanted us to carry down our dirty towels for new ones. Unacceptable as that is what we are paying for.

Most of the hotel staff was accommodating, I enjoyed the amenities such as the hot tub and pool. The gym is nice and the free laundry room is definitely a plus when you are traveling and need a longer stay. Any issues that we had as far as housekeeping they addressed it quickly.

Our accommodations were dirty, it was obvious the capets had not been vacuumed, towels were missing, had to ask multiple times for more towels, finally had to go get. Bathroom condimentss were missing: shower cap, .check out was ridiculous. Needed to leave early, front counter agent told us to use Expidia.com. They.tpld to contact front desk. Very poor front desk knowledge of needing to change departure date. Would not do the change at the hotel. Expedia told us hotel clerk should have done. We will never at Candlewood Suites again. Nasty, dirty hotel, with very poor room service(not cleaned or fully equiped with linens. Beds looked like house keeping remade beds using prior sheets. Had to make 3 trips to front desk to get towels, extra chair that should have been in room. Under bed closest to window, it was flity, and so gross.
I would NOT recommend this hotel!!!!!

I disliked the shower! It was for a handicapped and we had to hold the shower head there is no clip to hang it. Also the Curtains did not meet, there was definitely a pair missing...The hot tub didnt work. They claim they have a part on order.

Waited over 2 hours to be checked in. Room absolutely made us gag and choke. Stuck so so bad we only slept in the room. At check in they kept saying 20 min 20 min that I was afraid to leave and to even know what to believe. The pullout bed was very nasty and stunk like cigarettes. There was no bedding for the pull out and when we asked for sheets and a pillow they said u have to come to front desk and request we don't deliver. Not worth $360.. hell who am I kidding it was not worth $60

Arrived only to be turned away. There were no signs or notes about the hotel not accepting certain cards. I chose to use my chime credit card and they said they just decided to stop accepting those. But why? They didn’t even attempt to process the card to see if their system would take it. It was the nonchalant non helpful attitude from the front desk agent and the manager on site. The communication and delivery was unprofessional. My first time ever trying a Candlewood Suites and my last.

There were children and adults up and down the hallways screaming and yelling until at least 3:30am (that's when I finally fell asleep). Hotel staff asked them to quiet down once or twice but overall, nothing done. Police were there arguing with a guest out in the parking lot prior to this (have no idea if same people or not). Front desk person just shrugged their shoulders when I complained. Very disappointed.

Staff was great, but room lacked tablewear. Let the desk know about that when we checked out. We did not cook during the stay. Also, the air conditioning was not working efficiently, was hard to feel cool even at a setting of 70°F. There was a huge \"car show\" in the immediate area that drew hundreds of people and many took over the parking places intended for paying customers at the hotel. The hot rods burned rubber up and down Lyra St. beside the hotel. This event went on for 2 full days. Very noisey.

Hotel changed Reservation

Was suppose to check in on June 17, 2022. Due to traffic accident on interstate (stuck for 6 hrs) didn't arrive until 3 am June 18.
Called around 7 pm to advise that i was coming but didn't know when, male was short on phone. called again around midnight, female was very friendly and assured me my room was ready for me.
Upon arrival she checked me in and stated i had a king bed room non-smoking! Explained that wouldn't work since i booked 2 queens non-smoking since i'm travelling with a friend on motorcycles. She didn't know what happened to the reservation except to say someone at the hotel must have changed it, it was listed correctly on the check in sheet. She was nice about it and apologized but only had bed rooms with queens beds but just single queens but they were smoking rooms. My friend is mildly allergic to smoke. Being exhausted we took the 2 rooms and thankfully she only charged for 1.
NOT impressed with the hotel to change my reservation without a call , i booked two queen beds non-smoking for a reason.
The female desk clerk did her best to remedy the situation and she was extremely helpful in the process.
