The absolute STENCH permeating this hotel is atrocious. It smells like vomit and waste - and it is SO bad that it has permeated my luggage on the drive home. I feel physically nauseous.

Further, this location is a hub of nighttime arguments and “making up” afterwards. This was categorically the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I will never stay at a Red Roof again as long as I live.

The staff and room were appalling. I waited 30 minutes at front desk to even begin check in before a front desk representative arrived. The room was filthy and the floors never seem to have been cleaned. The shower only spit ot cold water in the morning while trying to prepare myself for work. Dreadful bathroom it was basically falling apart.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The bathroom had multiple places where the paint had dripped down the pockmarked walls. The toilet was built too close to the sink so the lid couldn’t fit on the tank. The sink drain backed up with minimal amounts of water. It wasn’t a great experience.

The carpets throughout the hotel were filthy. There was cable tv. The phone had no phone wire to make calls or even get a wake up call. There was no coffee in the breakfast lounge. They had cereal, muffins and donuts packaged for breakfast. The juices were so watered down they tasted awful. The extra door latch was off so there was no safety on the door.

Supposed to be a smoke free place and the room reeked of cigarettes. Super gross, I couldn't even stay in the room it smelled so bad. I ended up going somewhere else. It is also just rough looking in general. The rugs at the entry are all torn up and a tripping hazard, broken asphalt all over the parking lot, people wandering around outdoors all hours, the emergency exits had the doorknobs removed and you could see outside the holes that were left as a result. I would not recommend staying here.

The stay was absolutely amazing. 5 stars, my wife and I enjoyed a comfortable clean room. Plenty of parking, near our destinations we needed to travel to. Late at night while smoking, felt safe. Breakfast is also included in the morning and access to ice and a gym. I would recommend this place

not a great area, the hotel next door had a guest room window broken out the last day of our stay. didn't have an iron in the room and couldn't get one from the front desk. Our room keys would work for a couple hours and never the next day and then when I finally got back to the room at 1am and my room key didnt work, there was no one at the desk and no number to call, just can't get in your room for the four hours you can sleep before having to get up for the next day. plus a $100 room deposit that they don't tell you about until you're there checking in, that takes 2-3 business days to be refunded. for a room you can't get into half the time, and that is so dirty when you get in there that you dont take your shoes off unless youre in bed, and we considered the shower. There was needle caps shoved in the tub drain that still let some water go down so we didnt touch it.. Overall, never again, but we survived

I didn’t even get out of my car because I was alone and scared. There were people EVERYWHERE in the parking lot. Sitting on cars, blasting music, riding their bikes all around, approaching other vehicles. There were also 3 smashed up cars in the parking lot. Didn’t look like a safe area at all! There's not much to like. Its not very clean. Constant sktechty people outside. Horrible TV channels / no cable. Their WiFi is incredibly low speed and signal strength. Theres a lot of parting going on in rooms. Shower doesnt drain properly, and shower head sprays water from the back stonger than the actual water that splashes you, due to the crack, which was just duct taped. Every single receptacle was damage and almosy coming out the wall. The microwave didnt work. And to top it off, it's NOT cheap. If I didnt get placed there from my company, I wouldve NEVER picked this place. I WOULD NEVER BRING CHILDREN HERE. I stayed twice, for 4 days each week.

You have maybe 5 channels that come in clear. The WiFi is incredibly slow. The room telephone doesn't work. The shower doesnt drain properly, and the shower head is cracked so it sprays from it. It's way to expensive for this kind of quality

I was taking a four day trip down to Columbus, Ohio and booked with the red roof. I was down there with my daughter. We arrived around 10:30 11 o’clock at night. When we first pulled in, I noticed at least four pitbull’s running around the front of the property. There were congregations of people outside, I immediately felt very unsafe. I was in an area far from home, not which way to go or what the best option was decided to go inside and out of fear. I held her the entire time when I asked the gentleman about the dogs running around this is a pet friendly and we do not control what goes on outside of his doors. I told him it was on his property and he seemed shocked, but not very concerned. I decided to check in to regroup and figure out what the best option for my daughter. When I got to the room, it was not clean. The toilet visibly looks like somebody had gotten sick previous and then noticed the inside of our door did not have a bottle lock I would back to the front desk and ask the gentleman if he had a different room that had an internal lock. I proceeded to tell him how unsafe I felt and how extremely scared I was to be staying at this place. His response wasthis is a shady area. There’s no way helped my concern of staying there. I had initially booked through Expedia, so it took me some time to contact a customer service where I explained the conditions and what was happening around me. Room was nasty, there were drugs being sold and used right out in the open in the parking lot. There was a lady that almost fell out in the parking lot by my room window. She was there all night and still there in the morning.
I had to sleep with my window open to watch and make sure the tweakers in the parking lot didn’t touch my property.

I arrived and checked in and was given a room that had not been cleaned and was filthy - piles of dirty towels, feces ok toilet, etc. I asked for a new room and while the room had been cleaned , it was still dirty. The shower was disgusting and there was an open bag of potato chips behind my pillow. I was attending a concert so had no time to get a third room.

This is not a good property, and is NOT safe. The TV did not work, The room was dirty, including the floor was not mopped / cleaned. I opened the drawer for the nightstand and it was filthy inside - In addition there was a razor blade left in the drawer. The area around the hotel was dangerous - homeless people and others wandering through all day

If i could give a NEGATIVE star rating, theyd get -10.
The sewage smell outside was off-putting.
Look up when you check in, the vent cover by thw desk is covered in rust.
The carpet is expired and needs to be replaced
My room had toilet paper stuck in the doors peep hole. There were stains on our sheets, a stain on the bed skirt, a stain on the curtain.
The microwave was caked in a black film.
There were toe nail clippings on the nightstand.
And on the toilet...the outside of the toilet, there was human poop stuck to the bowl.

To make matters worse, the night agent REFUSED to accommodate. Then later refused to inspect the room, we wsited until 3AM.

People not saying at the hotel gathered outside in groups. Just eyeing you down as you park and smoking outside. Our car threatened to be towed because we had no where to park so parked in a spot apparently apart of the other hotel directly next door in the same parking lot. The smoke alarm randomly sounded at 12 am in our smoke free room and we were terrified that we would be charged $200 for it going off. Incredibly dirty. Toilet didn’t want to flush after going #2 or sometimes #1 if you used slightly too much paper. Super unsafe area .

It didn't take very long for my feet to turn black from the nastiness in the carpet. The walls were so thin. You could hear the hyped up music and the people talking from the floor above me. There were holes in the wall. The floors were absolutely sticky. There was a 1 to 2-in space Gap between the door and the floor that is supposed to keep all Intruders out of my room. I was not comfortable and was genuinely afraid for my safety.

I paid way too much for what this property provided. Luckily I only booked it for one night, as I was not willing to shower in the room. From the moment I opened the door to a pitch black room, I wanted out. Then I checked out the restroom and there was what I can only hope was a cola that had been spilled and dried to the tub. I’m far from a fancy man, but I got instantly grossed out by the room.

Cleanliness was not a real thing here. Stains on the walls, shower, blankets, literally everywhere. The shower had a scream to it due to lack of pressure. The whole place felt so dirty it was nauseating but it was already so late that we couldn’t go somewhere else. The $100 security deposit was a surprise - never had this at any hotel I have ever stayed at. I was nervous that it would not be canceled at checkout. The toilet almost overflowed the first time I flushed it and was afraid of flushing it again.The cooler did not keep my drinks cold and made a continuous running water sound (all night when I was trying to go to sleep!) Not a very enjoyable visit.

This was probably the worst motel I have stayed in. The front desk clerk was helpful and nice, but the room was disgusting. The bathroom had tiles falling down, the hairdryer was coming off the wall and there was shoe scuff marks all along the bottom of the wall. The tub didn't drain either and filled up while showering. A lot of maintenance is required.
