The hotel is conveniently located near Central London, making it easy to travel to all major attractions from Old Kent Road. Although breakfast wasn’t included, the food was good. I do wish they had offered a variety of breakfast options during our 3-day stay. Overall, the hotel was satisfactory in terms of security and cleanliness.

Amazing Staff

I genuinely wasnt sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all amazingly friendly and helpful, I had an issue with the water draining in the shower, mentioned it when I left the room for the day and by the time I took a shower the next day it was fixed! I felt very secure and safe, you couldnt even get into reception without a keycard at night and then you needed to scan again to access the rooms area.

Would abaolutely stay here again when i'm next in london. Thank you for a relaxed easy trip.

The location was very convenient for those exploring the city. You can get public transportation from a nearby stop and Line 21 gets you to London Bridge within 10 minutes and is very convenient and from there you can connect to underground metro. The Hotels' family room was very convenient, and it offers 1 double and 3 single bed and is deal for a family with 3 kids. The staff was helpful and the area around the hotel was safe even though it may not look great as the buildings and shops are old and look a bit dated and run down. Overall, my experience was great, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for value for the money.

Great hotel.

There were hairs on the beds when arrived but the cleanliness of the rest of it was great. The staff where friendly and welcoming. The cups in the room are very small but we asked for bigger ones and the staff were more than helpful. Will definitely be staying here again. Dont let the area put you off

There is a night club that is open till 4am on the weekends which shakes the rooms. DIFFICULT to sleep in! Also, lots of “newcomers” walking around the street mostly men so we didn’t go out at night as much. The hotel and staff itself are in good condition and were very kind. Bathrooms clean and once inside building felt totally safe.

Worst hotel ive stayed in

The hotel is situated an awkward distance away from main public transport so required a 23 minute walk from the tube station. When i arrived i was directed to the automatic check in which really removes human interaction. The hotel itself is in a rough state with rooms and communal areas clearly dated. My room itself was poor but what made it worse was the pipe for the sink burst flooding the room and bathroom. I had to text reception for help as the phone didnt work and they werent sure if they could give me another room. Eventually i was moved into another room which was much smaller and appeared to be above a club with the walls vibrating and people yelling all night. After 2 nights i got no sleep and when i asked a member of staff if i could have some form of refund for the experience they laughed and said no no thats the price. Which brings me to the cost. The price of the room is over the top, over £175 a night for this kind of experience was honestly a joke.

Location was very convenient because it was less than 10 minutes walk to my mother's flat who i was visiting. There are abundant restaurants of almost every region. Transportation iis almost by the doorstep. If you're looking for luxury, not the right place. But if you're visiting family around that area, then look no further. The rooms are small compared to American standard. There's no microwave, which would have been great. Room was clean. Its a busy and vibrant area.

The pictures of this property did not show the real hotel. The rooms were not nearly as nice as shown. The ac did not work and we did not get a good sleep, woke up wet with damp sheets. On our last night the staff moved us to another room with working ac. From what we read about this hotel, we thought we were much closer to the Tower bridge. In fact, we had to cab because it was actually 3 miles. We did walk it once but it is a long way for seniors.

The hotel was fine and clean, very accessible to buses and food options.
The customer service is terrible, contacted them months ago to ask for early checkin no response back, send them text few weeks before arrival no response, no WhatsApp info so you basically have to call them directly and pay overseas charges. On the day of checkin the lady at reception said, I do see you ask for early checkin, we were not able to respond but that will be extra £60 for 3 hours early checkin. Never I have seen that type of charge just for few hours early.

This hotel was close to all the main attractions and very close to bus stops. No tube station was close by. Lots of dining options were at hand but most of them were local small businesses. All the staff of the hotel was nice and friendly except one woman receptionist at our check in. She can practice how to smile.
Our room was OK but no closet/enough hangers to keep cloths. It was clean & beds were comfortable. Daily housekeeping service. Air conditioning was good. Nice coffee.
They gave us a ground floor room. It was terrible that there was no soundproofing at all. All 3 nights we stayed there we couldn't sleep because of the noice of banging doors and cutting noice from the kitchen.
We had breakfast one time and it was good.

OK stay in this bustling neighborhood

We had a nice stay. The hotel is a bit dated. I am not a fan of the purple everywhere. To each their own. The cleaning people need to do a better job of checking the shower body wash and shampoo. I had to tell them it was empty. It was that way for two nights. Also, seems they never check the lights. The light above the mirror was not working for our entire stay. And finally, they really need to cover the bed frame corners. They cover them with plastic, however the plastic was missing on one of the corners and it was just metal. I got a bad scratch on it one day. Management needs to do some rounds some days and not just rely on their staff informing them about such things!

Practical no frills place to stay

On a general note , some readily available info in the reception area would have been appreciated RE bus stop locations and destinations (close to hotel), having to ask staff who's english is generally poor is not always a good option. on the positive side the staff we encountered made a good effort to let us in early, before their stated 2 pm threshold. would stay there again provided they cleaned up better...

Not close to tower bridge and in an area where there were limited restaurants and no coffee shops. Otherwise, for the money, it this hotel was great. Located in a multicultural area but seemed very safe. We had no problems and buses run regularly.

I stayed in a family room with friends for a theatre trip. Pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the room was. We slept well. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. It was clean and basic. The staff were very professional and helpful. The area itself isn’t great but we hopped onto a bus which took us straight to Waterloo in 20 minutes. It was really good for the price.

The hotel was brilliant for what we needed. It was reasonably priced, central, close to bus links. The room was comfortable and had what we needed, having a fridge was really handy. The mattress could have been a bit comfier but all in all it was a great stay.
