Location is great, hotel and amenities also great. If you’re staying at the weekend then Maltby St market is a must, followed by a walk along Druid St and onto Tower Bridge. Only downside is rooms are hot! Air con was centrally controlled, we stayed in Feb but room was still hot, you can open the window slightly and I’m sure if we’d informed reception they would’ve been able to help so not a huge deal

Great stay and staff was absolutely lovely. Nice location. The view could have been better. Very clean and even had a small washing machine. Tower Bridge, Shard, Tower of London and Burroughs Market are all walking distance. Very quiet, peaceful and safe area. Small market across if you need to purchase any essentials.

The room was fine, looked a lot older/different from photos. Twin beds were comfortable enough, but quite small. Bathroom was fine, but since there is no cleaning we had to ask for toilet paper. We got the breakfast buffet one day, which was disappointing. The food was not fresh, or plentiful, not great for what you pay. I would stay again, the staff were pleasant, it just felt a bit misleading.

The location is amazing. Service is not great. Room was dirty, terrible water smell in the room that they tried to mask with pumping air freshener through the vents. Elevators broken. Bed was uncomfortable, towels dirty and had holes in them. Very unhappy with experience.

Good location near Tower Bridge. Room was clean. Comfortable spaces outside the room to chill. I even tried the hammock as we were on the ground floor! Staff on front desk varied , some were more helpful than others. There were two of us and we were staying two nights . We had to ask for a second set of towels and more than 2 tea bags.

Bermonds Locke is stylish and well-located, with a great café downstairs and a modern apartment-style feel. The rooms are comfortable, but the experience is quite self-service, there are no traditional hotel amenities like luggage carts or concierge-style support.

Noise from plumbing and laundry can be noticeable, so it’s better suited to guests who don’t plan to spend a lot of time in the room and are comfortable with a more independent stay.

This hotel looks like a premium luxury boutique hotel. however, it is a nice apartment hotel that is more directed to long stay than your traditional full service hotel experience. Nothing wrong with that, but my expectation was that this would be more traditional hotel than apartment hotel.

The kitchen was well equipped. The rooms were very clean and tidy and noticeably quiet with a great view of The Shard. It was within easy walking distance of some great local attractions such as Tower Bridge (15-20 minutes) and Borough Market (15-20 minutes). The bed was really comfortable. Staff were super kind and helpful. We felt like the price we paid was very good value for the accommodation we got. Although we didn’t eat here, the food we saw looked lovely. We would highly recommend this place to stay and will definitely be returning!

It would take me several pages to state everything the staff did to make our visit to London the very best it could be! Our best to the entire staff for making 2 American seniors feel like family! The property is in a nice area, but that is the only positive. There is no parking and nowhere to safely be dropped off or picked up. The room was significantly smaller than advertised and it was filthy. The bedding and towels were visibly dirty. I wiped down the surfaces with Clorox wipes and they turned black from dust and grime. the amount of dust collected by the bed was unacceptable.

The washing machine was disgusting, to the point of being unusable. On top of that, all the toiletries, shampoo, body wash, hand wash, and even dish soap, were completely empty.

I am genuinely disgusted. I would not recommend this place and I will not be returning.

Good location

Internet was reliable. Room was fine but there were not many plugs. No where to plug in the hairdryer close to the bathroom or a mirror. The light switches are odd too. The bed was cool ( canopy) but on either side of the bed there were lights and buttons to control them. On the left side the bulb was blown and that switch seemed to only control that light. The other side controlled the other lights in the unit.

The bathroom was clean but could use some updating. The shower had an open grate and there was a strong sewer smell. The shower door also leaked and every time i used it and the bathroom floor was wet despite towels placed there etc.

The location is great. Felt very safe and it’s close to groceries and restaurants and a straight walk of about 10 minutes to tower bridge. Overall it was a good experience but I’ve stayed in other Locke properties and they were nicer

Our check in experience was miserable. We were told repeatedly that our room would be ready soon and to check back \"in 15 minutes\". An hour later and they still weren't ready. A literal nightmare to deal with after a long travel day. Some rooms were not even close to the booking link and on top of that, the staff working was inconsistent and rude.

Staff are always so helpful and friendly. My only one issue on this stay was that the there was a really strong chemical/cleaning smell in the corridor and in our room which was very overpouring, like a sickly strong plug in and quite nauseating. After airing the room it went away slightly and had completely disappeared by the time we got back.

Honestly the extra star is for the staff. They were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. However, this property does not look like the above pictures…anymore. The rooms are dated, with scuff marks, and general wear and tear. The TV was almost hanging off the wall, and the bed was really uncomfortable. We also had issues with the AC, but luckily we had mild weather the whole trip so it wasn’t too bad.
For some reason, we were put into an accessible room, which was not great. The room itself was spacious, but the wet room/bathroom was a massive problem. For starters, there is an accessible sink right at the toilet, and for two people over 5’9”, this was a problem (aka we had to sit on the toilet sideways…). But the biggest issue was the shower, which just had a singular drain in the floor. We were there 4 days and I don’t think the floor was ever dry. Plus, with there being no housekeeping, our wet towels (which we had to use to dry the floor) sat in the corner making the whole room smell foul and damp. We thought about asking to change rooms, but after looking on the website I saw that the hotel was full.
The area was nice - but a bit of a trek to nearest tube station.
Overall, the hotel itself is around 2 and a half stars in my opinion - having stayed at other Locke properties, it definitely wasn’t up to standard.

Our room's thermostat was not working and our room was at least 20 degrees hotter than any other room in the hotel. No maintenance crew on weekends and it was promised to be fixed on Monday and was not. Three nights of sweating all night as if we were in a sauna. Half the lights in the hotel room were not working either. Our room key did not work half the time and i had to go to the front desk multiple times to get new keys

Staff were really friendly and helpful. We were missing the tv remote f on our room and Zac took care of it quickly. Our bathroom was an accessible one although we did not need it. I found it not as fresh as I would like and the tiles were a bit stained with mould. The cafe was super convenient and we enjoyed a quick lunch and delicious breakfast. Service was great with staff working hard to prep orders and serve clients in the common area.

Usually stay here when visiting London. The hotel location is great & the room well appointed and comfortable. Love the local neighborhood.
A Mexican restaurant has opened on the ground level of the hotel, this had thumping music which we could hear from our room on the 3rd floor. This was a shame as the foyer area & hotel generally was otherwise very peaceful.
