I am writing regarding my recent hotel booking made through Expedia. I reserved this room three days in advance and prepaid using Afterpay, expecting a clean, properly prepared suite for my stay.
I am a Doctor, who scheduled this stay as a brief staycation while continuing to manage professional responsibilities remotely. Cleanliness and presentation were extremely important to me, especially given my profession and the need for a comfortable, sanitary environment between back-to-back Zoom meetings.
Upon arrival, I found that the bed sheets were heavily wrinkled and did not appear freshly pressed or properly presented. In my experience, hotel bedding is typically clean, ironed, and neatly tucked. When I raised this concern with the front desk, I was told that the property does its own laundry and that their sheets will “always be wrinkled.”
If that is the hotel’s standard practice, it should be clearly disclosed, as guests reasonably expect hotel linens to be professionally laundered and presented in a crisp, clean manner. The condition of the bedding did not meet that expectation.
A staff member named Jasmine was courteous and switched me to another room. Unfortunately, the second room had the same issue with wrinkled sheets, and the desk surface was visibly dirty and stained. I had to clean the desk myself before beginning my workday. I have photographs documenting both rooms.

The breakfast was honestly so good, I’ve never had a good hotel breakfast until Springhill Suites. Overall one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Will be coming back in the future 100%. I was reluctant to leave this review because I didn’t want others to find this amazing place, but it deserves this review! Totally ruined all other hotels for me. 10/10 stay.

Nice hotel. Room was ok. Smaller then i thought. If the trundle bed is pulled out... good luck walking in and out the room. My room was facing the train. Thst was fun to hear all night. We came for the Bears game and they said they were going to have a little area with chios and hand warmers. Where? Never saw it. Breakfast ends at 930 am. They pull all the food away on the dot. We missed it by 7 minutes. The staff here are friendly. Everyone was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at the Springhill hotel in Chinatown. The staff was so friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was beautiful and super clean. Breakfast included everything you would want very fresh and healthy and delicious. Parking was very convenient. The surrounding area was safe and bustling with all ages of people. This was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Very beautiful lobby, fantastic rooms and wonderful staff. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The diverse selection was amazing and high quality. 2 types of eggs, ham and egg croissants, 2 types of sausage and so much more. Blueberry compote for oatmeal topping? Amazing and yummy. Nice neighborhood with many Oriental restaurants very close. One of the staff directed us to a great pastry shop a block away for evening treats. We spent the night before going to the Museum of Science and Industry. Was worried about noise from nearby tracks and the street in front but after 10pm our rooms were dead silent. Parking at the public garage next door turned out to be very easy and convenient. The second level is reserved for hotel guests with a direct connection to the hotel. I'll be looking for an excuse to come back.

This hotel is new and clean. We love that it is super close to the McCormick center which is the reason why we picked this place to stay. The hotel room is big and nice. You can tell they put in effort to design this place, the bathroom door and front doors are heavy for sound proof. One complaint I would have is the food option is very repetitive on a day to day basis but hey free food. They do not clean your room everyday but I wish they would offer fresh towels at your door at the very least as my suggestion. The blinds are completely black out for good quality sleep. Oh another complaint I have is that the air conditioning unit is right next to the bed so it can be cold or hot depending on the temperature selection, but if you cover it up, it’s fine. Overall we would stay here again for the great location and cleanliness of the hotel.

Reserved 2 rooms for the night before going to the Museum of Science and Industry. This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are fantastic. This may be one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The breakfast was the nicest I've ever enjoyed at a hotel. Blueberry compote for oatmeal topping? Incredible. Large number of high quality selections. 3 egg options. 2 sausage options. And so much more. All of the staff was super friendly and professional. Parking in the garage next door turned out to be plentiful and easy. Very nice location. Lots of restaurants within one block. On advice of the staff, we walked to a nearby pastry shop for yummy evening snacks. I was worried about noise from nearby tracks and the street in front but after 10pm, our rooms were dead silent. Easily the best value in the area.I'd rate it a 12 if I could. Would love to come back to the area just to stay in this hotel.
