The room was very clean. The arrangement well laid out. The only complaint is where the plugs were. One side of the bed had a power strip the other did not. You usually find others in lamps but this was not the case even at the desk I had to crawl under the desk to plug in my laptop.

The bed was not supportive. I slept on the couch the first night. The second night I decided to try across the foot of the bed. That worked for the night.
The shower liner had mold from where it folded together and hasn't dried out.
There's a water spot on the ceiling, which means there's a leak, or an old leak was not repaired properly. There is moisture, possibly mold, growing there.
I have not had this experience the previous 2 years I've stayed here for the event I was attending. But my stay this time was not what it should have been for the price that was paid for the room.

I recently stayed three nights at Hyatt Place and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The online photos were somewhat misleading. The “restaurant and bar” is essentially a long counter attached to the front desk with a few chairs and a small cooler stocked with turkey sandwiches, bottled water, a few beers, and some hard seltzers. There options for anything else were very limited. The actual “restaurant” area is only open for breakfast and feels more like a small nook where you pick up your 'included breakfast' food and sit at one of a few lobby tables. When I asked about the restaurant at check-in, I was told, “Yeah… there's really not a restaurant, you’ll have to just do Door Dash.”

The breakfast itself was typical hotel fare—fine for something included—but nothing special. The pool was permanently closed, which was also disappointing. Ice and vending areas are only on the 1st and 3rd floors, and only the 3rd-floor machine actually had ice my entire stay. There were no vending machines in the vending area, and no microwaves in the rooms.

The biggest issue for me was having to change rooms after fully unpacking because there was no hot water in the sink or shower. In the new room, the heater was so loud I couldn’t sleep with it on (and I can sleep through most anything!) I mentioned it the next morning, but it never improved. While the hotel was clean, I expected much more from the Hyatt brand and will not stay here again.

I requested a room with a bathtub of the hotel staff had bad attitudes. They told me that they didn’t have any rooms with bathtubs. We had a very big party there with more than 20 rooms reserved and paid for as they gave my room with the bathtub and it away to another guest, which was my sister all around. It wasn’t good to me at all.

I've stayed at this property several times over the past few years and was always happy. I was a bit dissappointed this time. The staff were rarely at the front desk, i had gone down several times to ask for some small necessities but each time no one was there. Even after waiting a few minutes, the staff I did see seemed a bit overwhelmed. I was informed the pool was under construction though when we passed by we saw nothing that would indicate that. We had booked two nights but opted to leave after night one when I woke up with several small clusters of bumps on my body. We DID check the mattress and didnt find any signs, but was too icked out after that point to stay longer.

This trip should have been canceled. No one explained there was not a pool working. Even though directly at check in my kids stating in front of staff, how excited they were to go swimming. Therefore not mentioning it makes no sense. Then the manager Dan, would not help us find another Hyatt place wit a pool. One of the staff members gave me an attitude when I advised we found another room 20 mins away at another hotel. The experience was just horrible all the way around.

I reported several times to the front desk that my room was extremely cold and the thermostat was not working. The response I received was dismissive, and I was told the issue was due to motion-activated lighting — which did not make sense and did not resolve the problem. I asked to switch rooms but was never assisted.

Additionally, the hotel offers very few amenities, and the overall hospitality did not meet expectations

I had a very disappointing stay at this Hyatt. My room was not properly cleaned, and the staff I interacted with were rude and unprofessional. The breakfast area was also poorly maintained and did not feel clean.

What really concerned me was something I personally overheard while in the breakfast area. Two female staff members (Eastern European, based on language/accent) were speaking negatively about some of the Hispanic employees. The tone was demeaning and disrespectful. As a guest, it was uncomfortable to hear staff talk about their coworkers like that, especially in a way that came across as discriminatory.

No one should be spoken about that way at work. It reflects a serious lack of professionalism and respect behind the scenes. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it, because it absolutely affected how I experienced the hotel. I would not stay here again.

Hate the use of single use plastic cutlery and crockery. Strangely on some days there were a few metal cutlery and real plates and bowls available, whilst on others there were none. Breakfast items varied from day to day with some days better than others

Room 403 was spacious and comfortable, but what should have been a nice view was spoilt because the double glazing was blown in both windows and hence they were steamed up inside. Shower strength was so-so but good range of soap/shampoo.

We were attending an event at the Renaissance conference centre and it was a nice 30 minute walk to there (or I think there is a free bus around the area too)

Overall an ok stay for what we wanted, but could have been better

Extremely regretful stay. Bad location.. no convenient transportation to city except uber which can be very expensive. Far from everything and if you rent car , parking and traffic will be also expensive.

I was having horrible asthmatic reaction to other guests dogs and the management went out of their way to accommodate my medical condition, I was so impressed and happy with how professional and accommodating they were. Bravo! Top notch service!

It was a nice place to stay. The room had some wear and tear on it but it’s not brand new so expected. The one negative was that the thermostat would not let us go lower than 69 degrees so it made for a pretty warm night for sleeping. Breakfast was very good. Better than expected.

However, i don't understand someone working in hospitality business not greeting guests when they arrive. This is what happened Friday when we arrived at 3 pm. Not even a thank you or have a good stay after check in.
Maybe she was having a bad day.
We will definitely come back though.

We ended up at the Hyatt Place on a Friday night after having to leave our original hotel because of mold.
I explained our situation to Ela at the front desk and asked about a \"mold safe\" room. She offered to let me look at rooms before finalizong the booking. The manager showed me a few rooms she thought would be best and let me choose. She even went amd re-scrubbed the bathroom while we checked in!
They went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe, healthy night.
The room was comfortable, clean, bright, the air smelled clean, and staff was amazing!
