I didn’t like the chicken in an awful lot. I had a question about the valet service at the front desk and the girl acted like she knew nothing about the hotel at all. I didn’t check my email because I thought it would be a normal per person check-in it kind of got lost in my junk email. I guess so she wasn’t really thorough with the codes and how to use them in the elevator. Everyone else was great. I met someone else at the desk. The next day that was wonderful and the valet people were excellent. One of the valet folks named Isaiah actually helped me learn how to get in the elevator and in the room since all the coding was a little different. Another very friendly front desk woman on our checkout day brought me some coffee that I asked for. All in all the service was great. It was just that initial contact when I checked in Friday night that was a little off. If I would have seen the email, I would’ve been a lot less confused. The hotel was quiet and the water pressure and temperatures were great. The poor over coffee was wonderful and I’m glad they had the option for my husband to use the cake cup. They think of all the little details in this hotel. There’s not a lot of help around, but everything you need is here. The temperature of the hotel was great. I will definitely stay here again because of the location. There were lots of friendly staff when they were there. Valet was easy and fast

old tired room with curtains that wouldn’t close completely and were torn. bathroom shower door was covered in soapy film. toilet seat was old and worn as was the entire toilet and it ran constantly. Refrigerator in room was at 42 degrees at arrival. AC system was fickle. Middle of the stay one ac unit starting pouring water onto the carpet. Forced to get assistance from front desk person who did get it repaired promptly. decided to point out other issues and employee wasn’t keen on hearing them let alone fixing them. managed to get the fridge to 38 degrees. told us that they wouldn’t ’ding us’ on the curtain issue that had nothing to do with us. In room coffee is some sort of ‘cool’ pour over system that tasted like it was several year old coffee. At arrival the employee noted that there was coffee and cookies on the mezzanine level which turned out to be a keurig and a vending machine. overall a pathetic excuse for ‘hospitality’ of which we would never stay at a property like this ever again.

Dark roomS. We had to ask for a table lamp as there was only one on one side of the bed and no overhead lighting. Some of the curtains were falling apart and the bathroom is definitely from the 60s or 70s.. location is great and the sheets were fantastic.

This hotel has no front desk. They do have someone there that can answer questions and they are helpful but no front desk. Also this is an hold hotel. The electrical outlets were not convenient in any way. Small rooms. We would not stay there again

The property description is extremely misleading. There is no lobby to wait in or anywhere to sit. The room is cute and the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom is like a Motel 6. This is quite a disgrace for a hotel with an 8.8 rating. The other hotels in the area that were similar price and ratings are much better quality. I’m not sure how they pulled this off. The hotel is very rustic and old and outdated. It’s in a great location in my opinion far enough away from the chaos but close enough to walk. It would not take a lot to upgrade this bathroom or at the very least the shower head, why is it so old? From the pictures there seemed to be a nice outside seating area, a nice restaurant and a lobby to sit
I arrived at 11 AM and was told that check-in wouldn’t be until 4 PM. However they did manage to get me in by 1pm. Thank goodness. But I was incomplete shock to have nowhere to even sit. This was very overwhelming and disturbing to say the least. Everything is pretty clean for how old it is, but it is very thick carpet and thick curtains so who knows..

I just think the hotel should have better more accurate pictures, so that the stay is not such a shock. Staff were all very nice!

Clean and nice, and the staff was as helpful as they could be. Unfortunately, beeping from an alarm in the room kept me awake all night. No maintenance crew could arrive until morning to fix it, so I spent a sleepless night there. Things happen - I understand that - but I expected an appropriate refund and instead received $20, which I had to argue for. I see that as terrible customer service. I paid for a good night’s sleep, they didn’t deliver, and kept my hard-earned money anyway. Totally unacceptable.
I won’t be staying there again, which is unfortunate because it’s a nice place in a great location. But you can’t treat people that way.

Clean rooms. A bit small but quiet. Shower was good. Onsite steakhouse but did not eat there. Overnight parking is outrageous at $50 a night. About a 20mon walk to the French Quarters. Staff was adequate but not welcoming for a hotel of this caliber.

Room was as advertised. Hotel has few amenities, but I knew that going in. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice. I stayed 4 days, I didn’t see a single staff person till the check out. I left early every morning and was out till late afternoon, never anyone at the desk. But I never needed anything so it wasn’t a problem. We checked in online and got a PIN number to our room, no key card. The trolley goes by every half hour or so, it’s very loud, but it is a city.

I would have given higher score but they don’t have a lobby….no place to sit. Went into the bar at 3:30pm to wait a half an hour and they shooed us out saying not open until 4pm even when we told them we had stayed at the hotel.
Waiting for our transportation to Train Station.

There is no parking available, be prepared to pay $50 a day for valet parking. We stayed for 3 days. The bed was not made the next day, towels were not replaced. Guest Elevator was used for their staff to transport chairs which we waited and they seemed not care for their guests. Not impressed at all. Shower was not draining properly and room look outdated.

Overall, this was a really great hotel to stay! It’s close to everything you need, but it’s not nearly as noisy and chaotic as staying in the French Quarter would be. You can actually get some sleep at night haha!
We stayed on the 6th floor, which was nice as it’s the highest floor. The only “negative” thing is our Room 604 was a little damaged in a few places - the shower curtain was broken, the bathroom door wouldn’t close or lock, and the windows looked quite dirty.

Otherwise, it was a super pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend.

We loved the easy check in process and the room (king suite) was well appointed. I’m unsure about maid service though as we stayed from Sunday to Thursday and the room was cleaned only on Tuesday. The HVAC vent blew directly on the bed (room 602) which I didn’t care for. The room and bathroom were both spacious and the coffee in the room was excellent. We would stay there again!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, check in was smooth and they had our room ready at 11am which was extremely nice. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. However, something that really effected our trip was the parking and lack of access to our vehicle. In the hotel description it says it has onsite parking (a major reason why I chose this hotel) but when we arrived the hotel staff said we have to rely on street parking or public parking lots for $40/day if there is any available which was about a block away. The hotel also offered valet services for $47/day. We chose the valet and it was very unreliable. We would request the car and come down to staff that was unaware we ever put in a request or could not be found. There were times the car would take up to 45 minutes until it was ready. We ended up losing money on parking and missing reservations because it was difficult to predict when we would receive our vehicle. The valet staff was very polite and welcoming, but the experience was very frustrating overall.

There also was no daily housekeeping, something I would have liked and wish I were made aware of when I was choosing hotels. If these things are not a deal breaker to you, it was a nice hotel. There was a park up the street and a 15–20-minute walk from Bourbon Street, the aquarium and some awesome restaurants.

The hotel was exactly what we needed for a girls' weekend - clean, quiet, and halfway between the French Quarter and the Garden District, so easy access to both. It's right on St. Charles and you could get on the streetcar right across the street. We saw the same front desk person (Bianca) the entire time, and Bianca was very helpful. Don't expect lots of amenities (e.g., pools, etc.), but this place was great for a quiet place to relax after wandering the city all day.

The room was HUGE. Way bigger than expected. Everything worked well. I didnt want to pay to Park via valet so I parked nearby on the street. There are parking spots on the street right in front of the hotel, but they are metered 8am-6pm. So we parked in front of the hotel and paid for parking in the morning one day ($1.50 an hour).

All entry to building, elevator and room are done via an \"app\" or code. The codes all worked and this was no issue. Contacting the property via text message also worked well.

The hotel staff was amazing however the velvet was horrible! I almost missed my flight we requested our vehicle 10 mins before coming down stairs to the lobby. Went down stairs to wait for the vehicle 20 mins laters the car still wasn’t there. Went around to the velvet asked about the vehicle he responded with they didn’t get the notification. He stated he had to go get the key from someone and get the car his self. Waited 10 minutes went to the front desk to ask how much longer because we have to catch a flight!! We had to wait another 20mins for them to find the car and bring it!

The room was great. Did not expect a suite but got one can’t, about the staff very much because you don’t really see them. Check-in is completely automated which is kind of cool. It’s a little bit. We did see the staff. They were friendly. We didn’t have hot water until the last day we were there in the shower was dirty. That’s why I could only give three stars.

This is a refurbished stately old hotel, with huge rooms and a very friendly staff.

It's about a half mile from the French quarter and much quieter (Lafayette park is right next door).

There's an excellent restaurant kitty- corner and a well regarded steak house next door within the building. There's also a very good grocery store two blocks away which has a good selection of wines and beers and take out foods.

We love the location of this hotel. It’s in a rather quiet spot but only blocks away from the action. Restaurants, bars, and shopping are all within easy walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and spacious. It’s one of our favorite go-to spots!

This location was PERFECT. Walking distance to Bourbon Street, Canal Street, Sazerac House, and most attractions. It was walkable to Jackson Square, but we chose to get ubers which were about $10 from Kasa. This hotel is in an incredibly safe area and directly next to the court house and Mardi Gras parade route. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The front desk was always accessible, they held my luggage for a later flight time and overall very accommodating. I had such a wonderful experience I extended my stay. I will happily stay here again and recommend this to any person visiting New Orleans.

The rooms were spacious and clean. They offered complimentary water and cookies upon arrival. Bathrooms were also spacious, clean, and modern.

We had to move rooms due to AC not working and the TV had trouble with internet so kept buffering. The best thing about the hotel was the front office staff. They were friendly, helpful and fixed are issues in a timely manner. Beds were comfy too. We would recommend and come back to stay.

Everything was perfect! We came here for Mardi Gras and let me tell you Mardi Gras is at your door step with this hotel!! I had no idea until a few days before arriving but i would book again for that reason alone. We were greeted with wonderful staff they were all very nice and attentive and welcoming. Room was perfect for my friend and i. We walked to bourbon everyday it was a 10-15 minute walk and never felt unsafe at anytime we were there. Would highly recommend!!

The room was spacious and the staff friendly. I liked the location on Lafayette Square in the Central Business District. The balcony was narrow and had no chairs, but that wasn't a major issue for us. It's a short walk to the French Quarter and right along the St. Charles streetcar line. We'd stay here again, and thought it was a good value for the price.
