The room was small, walls are thin and the neighbors tv was insanely loud. There was so much foam in the hot tub -it was not at all clean, and the pool water was cloudy. At check in we were asked if we wanted first or second floor, but they failed to mention there was not any elevators and we had to lug our bags up and down the stairs upon arrival and departure. Lastly, there was a bug in our room and I’m really hoping there wasn’t more that got into our stuff and traveled home with us. This hotel is okay if you don’t have a better option but this place is comparable to an old Motel 6. I would expect much better for the nightly price I paid.

The amenities were ok. The room we were in needed to upgrade the shower head. The shower head had no dial for water force… it was like a fire hose!
Also the little fridge needed help. It would freeze everything I put into it.

Yes the poolside furniture was comfy and clean. The rooms was spacious.the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was near all the activities we did the Zoo the beach and Belmont and Balboa park.

The staff were very unfriendly upon check in. They gave us our key, a map of the property, and rushed us out the lobby. When we got to our room it wasn't when ready yet. The room had holes in the ceiling near the windows. We were not provided enough towels for the amount of guests we were reserved for. Linen smelled if mildew. The restaurant on the property was the best part. The waiter was friendly and food was good.

I went from 3/15-3/17 , I was assigned a room that had people in it . So they gave me another room .
My card also got de-magnetized . Apparently, it was my fault . Don’t put your card with other cards . The bed was firm .
Take extra pillows .
The pillows need to be changed . The cleaning staff were very nice and welcoming .
The hotel was nice , a quiet .

Maintenance and housekeeping staff were excellent. there was no stopper in the bathtub, so Maintenance came and replaced the drain/stopper. There were no pool towels available at the Front Desk, so I asked a housekeeper and she kindly gave me towels. The vending machine at the pool was out of order with no sign saying so.

When checking in on Thursday I asked for a late checkout on Saturday because I work Saturday morning and fly home that afternoon. Checkout was 11am. I get off work at 11am and work 10 minutes from this hotel. The person said to ask the morning of departure. Because I leave for work Saturday morning at 6am, I ask on Friday if someone will be in the office at 5am. They said yes and that that person can help me out. I called the office at 5:15am Saturday but after I pushed the button to the front desk, the line went silent. I tried a few times too. I walked to the office and the receptionist said no, at 5:30am. She said she couldn’t make that decision. It was the morning staff that comes in at 7am that makes that decision. She also said it also depends on what housekeeping says. In the 14+ years I’ve been coming to San Diego for work this is the first time I’ve been denied a late checkout. Even at this hotel. I always ask when checking in too. Some hotels will note it on check-in. Luckily, someone at the event let me use their hotel room to shower. I don’t think I’ll be staying at the Best Western Seven Seas again.

I forgot my shower stuff in the room I booked they didn’t call me to see if I wanted them to hold it for me to come back and get it like why don’t you guys call to let people know they left something behind can I get a refund at least 30 dollars back cause I just had bought all that you guys just keep stuff without letting the person that booked the for know at least call back and let people know what they left behind that’s on them if they come back or not then you guys can keep it housekeeping needs to report what’s left in the checked out rooms the room I booked smelled musty

Room had an old musky odor, property is in need of remodeling. First BW that didn't have a coffee machine in rooms or complementary on the lobby. Had to go in the cafe and pay $4.75 for a cup of coffee.

Spent one night at this hotel and forgot to lock my car door for one hour while unloading and noticed all my belongings in my car were gone when I returned. The amount of time it took for the thieves to take my belongings seems calculated and I'm sure I was being watched. This hotel needs to monitor there parking lots more often. Especially since it's a free lot and anyone can park there for any amount of time. I will not be filing a police report since the items that were stolen were only valuable to me. But I am terrified of (and probably won't be)staying at this location again knowing there is No parking security. If anyone stays at this location. LOCK YOUR CARS. AND DOUBLE BOLT YOUR HOTEL ROOM DOOR!

I liked the selection of TV channels, it even had a YouTube app, which I watch more than anything else since COVID-19. Even though the hotel is located next to freeway, it was a pleasant stay, and I slept well.

For the pricing the place was fantastic. Staff was attentive and friendly, the hot tubs and pool were active and the place was well kept.

The beds aren’t super comfortable, and the bedding is thin, but definitely a minor complaint for the pleasant stay I had.

Check in was easy but zero smiles, no welcome, hardly any eye contact, very dry and matter of fact service at the front desk (not a huge deal). First room they put me in smelled heavily like pee and the air was heavy and the smell was too overpowering to ignore. The phone in the room was not working so I called the front desk on my mobile. After 10 minutes of waiting, I walked to the front desk when I entered one of the two young ladies was helping another guest. Once again, no acknowledgment of a new gueat having walked in and zero eye contact (these things are hospitality 101). The ladies at the front desk seemed to know the person being helped because there was small talk going on between them such as asking the guy if he was married etc. I waited there awkwardly for another 5 minutes until I was called up. First thing I asked: \"do you ladies hear the phone when it rings here at the front because I've been on hold to speak with you now for around 15 minutes\". Then the one lady looked up at me and gives the old 'I was busy helping another person', then the other young lady who was involved in most of the chatter with the other guest, peaked her head around the small cubicle they have and said: \"AND I was on break, sooo'. I was then assigned a new room. The new room also smelled of pee but I was too tired, I ignored it and went to sleep. Hot tub also not working properly (next day). Clean your rooms and retrain staff. I will not stay here again. Best of luck.

The room was very clean -it smelled nice when I walked in. Nice sized TV. Ladies at the front desk were nice and friendly. This place is huge and pretty. I'm not sure a lone female would want to walk a dog here at night. Lightning was OK but not a lot of well lit places in the open that I could see. Read the fees to learn about required deposit! No coffee pot no coffee in room if that matters to you.

The staff ignored us while we were trying to check in, was told our room wasn’t ready even though we were told 3 hours earlier that it was ready. Staff checked in all other guests and ignored us sitting there. Room had a smell to it and the hot tub water was murky and smelled awful and foul. There is also no microwave in the rooms.

Checking in was smooth and easy, but parking was a hassle that Saturday night. Really crowded, felt like the parking spots were limited, working trucks were taking up spots and a boat. It was cold that night so we tried to look for a closer parking to our room but nothing, there was about 5 other cars also going around the premises trying to find parking. We ended up finding a parking spot far away from our room and made me feel uneasy not being able to have my car close proximity. On top of that, no streaming services other than Netflix which did not work, and YouTube kept being interrupted with the wifi. Ended up just going to sleep early since there was not much to do.

Filthy room, filthy carpets. Shower had long hairs everywhere. Had do not disturb sign on door maid walked in and woke me up. Second day had same sign up went to restaurant came back and maid was in my room again.
Live best western but will never stay at this location if I ever go to San Diego again

The room had weird smell
The faucet in the tub was leaking a little bit the first night
The next day after our shower it started to leak more so we reported it but wasn’t fixed that day so our sleep wasn’t peaceful hearing the sound of the water
I reported again the next morning but when we returned back in the evening it’s still leaking
They finally moved us to another room which caused more inconvenience
I felt like we deserve some compensation for all the inconveniences during our 3 days stay

beautiful property!! we did have insanely loud neighbors that partied all night and puked on the stairs but other than that it was great. the staff at the restaurant were amazing and the food was delicious. pool and hot tub were really nice! room was very clean and comfy. The ceiling in the bathroom was drooping. The walls and decor were sagging and gross. The blankets were incredibly thin. No complimentary breakfast, you have to pay top dollar for Cisco food. Right next door to the Motel 8 and hardly an improvement.

Our room smelled like cigarettes and sewage! Our bed had stains. We were debating to leave with our group of friends because we felt uncomfortable. We proceeded to check out and ask for a refund. Front desk staff was very unprofessional called one of my friends to let them know that we had “used” so many towels and our beds were undone, that if our room smelled bad we should’ve said something right away. We were a group of 6 and had to come up with a game plan to see if we’re going to stay or not. The lady at the front desk said we took more than an hour in the room. Front desk staff said manager did not approve our refund?! Don’t recommend at all!
