Rosemay Boutique Hotel is a mixed experience. The property itself is attractive, and our room, while small, was clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom and shower were surprisingly spacious, and the beds were comfortable. We also appreciated the extra restrooms in the hallway, which were helpful when traveling with family.
The location is excellent for Heathrow Airport, but not ideal for exploring London. Although there is a bus stop directly across the street and public transportation is very accessible, most destinations in central London took about an hour to reach.
The staff were average overall. They were willing to lend us an iron, which we appreciated, but some interactions left us frustrated. During our stay, we were told to keep the noise down while simply watching the England vs. Croatia FIFA World Cup match at a normal TV volume and not being disruptive. This seemed more like an issue with the hotel's thin walls than with guest behavior.
Another disappointment was the air conditioning. Upon arrival, we were told we could adjust it, but later learned it was centrally controlled and guests could not actually change the settings. That made the in-room controls feel somewhat pointless.
Overall, the hotel is comfortable and convenient for airport travelers, but the distance from central London, thin walls, and inconsistent communication from staff prevented it from being a better experience.
