It is away from city center no metro.

When I arrived at the hotel I was swarmed by half a dozen young Arabic men and told to leave, that there were no reservations, that I couldn't stay there. I was afraid for my life and so was the other girl I was there with. Even the taxi driver was scared. Something isn't right with this hotel. The lobby was filled with more young Arabic men in line for something. (not to check in at the front desk). None of them had baggage. They all wore almost identical clothing. Do not trust this hotel.

Não fiquei no hotel, fomos jogados pra fora quando chegamos, porque disseram que estava fechado para uma festa particular, o hotel estava parecendo uma boate, só com homens lá dentro bebendo e ficaram olhando pra minha esposa como se fosse carne, por instantes pensei estar em um pesadelo, pareciam que iriam estuprar minha esposa, ela ficou com muito medo e o lugar é num bairro muito tenebroso, pra chegar passamos por becos e ruas onde havia uma bicicleta elétrica queimada, ou seja lugar onde roubam e usam entorpecentes, péssima experiência não recomendo pra ninguém passar por isso.

Read the reviews. I didn't realize all the negative reviews until I began to experience an unpleasant stay. Doors slamming, fire alarms randomly going off, unsanitary towels were just the beginning. Two days later, the front desk allowed me to cancel the reservation and contact Expedia. The following day, Expedia called and the front desk declined to cancel the reservation. Expedia tried their best but ultimately the hotel would not cancel the reservation leaving me $800 out. Best offer I got from the hotel was a room change, but that doesn't solve the sanitary issues

Paid for a buffet breakfast for the whole family just to find out that it was v limited options no boil egg no fried egg and when asked for fried egg for my little one I was told I’ll be having charged extra! The breakfast and the hotel were no where near a 4 star hotel and this should be reflected in the hotel description . I was shocked to see the breakfast for the price paid as it was the bare minimum and definitely not what you expect from a Mercure hotel!

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in and certainly not 4*. Chosen for convenience to Terminal 2 for an early flight it is nowhere near the airport. There is no shuttle bus and the tube ststion advertised nearby doesn't exist. When I eventually arrived late in the evening I was assured at reception there was a regular bus service to the airport outside. In the morning I found out it didn't exist involving another expensive taxi journey. My wake up call failed to happen but fortunately I slept so uncomfortably I was awake anyway. The air conditioning didn't work and the window had been left open presumably to expel smells so the room was freezing. The bathroom was so tiny it was not possible to sit on the loo seat other than at anaekward angle and the shower so small the shower head could not be adjusted to the crntre of the cubicle so you had to bend your head to get any coverage. No minibar and empty fridge did not work and not even a free bottle of water in the room. To cap it all when I showed my Accor loyalty card to credit reward points they told me I would have to email them retrospectively! Nothing was too little trouble for them! Truly awful

second time i have used this hotel and second time they messed up our rooms and gave us double rooms and not twin rooms. booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. we wont be returning again . at least the parking is good

There was a lady at the Front Desk that was very helpful.But besides that the location is in a remote dirty area,the rooms are ran down and the “bed” felt like a box spring instead of a mattress. The nicest part of the hotel is the reception area.I would not recommend that hotel to any women solo traveling. I did not feel safe.The male front desk offered the ground floor room.Very disappointing even for just an overnight stay.

Not sure how this location keeps the Mecure brand? The room is like a closet. The bathrooms need a drain on outside of tub since water always spills over and stays there. The hallways and room are tiny. The transport to airport is not convenient must get bolt or uber and its not cheap.

Horrible experience, I literally booked this hotel for the electric charging so I could drive from home charge the car whilst I washed to go out for what I needed to then charge again over night and their charging point didn’t work… so had to go to a services and sit with the car which defeated the whole point of me using this hotel, the welcoming was not friendly at all and the man trying to help with the ev charging was trying but to no avail, the room was in very good condition and a comfy bed, no washing/shower gel container was empty and the shower was screaming hot couldn’t get it any colder. Not the best view but i was only their to use it as a stop gap hotel for my car so that didn’t bother me after everything (view from my room as shown)

My partner and I like coming to the Mercure for a few of the staff members they have. They provide warm customer normally. However, this trip, while we were staying for a little over 2 weeks, they put us in a room on the 1st floor and we could not control the climate in the room. We had to rely on calling reception to make the room warmer or cooler. As a result, the room was always either too cold or too hot. It was very frustrating. The woman at the desk who did our initial checkin I thought was rather rude. I'm used to customer service not being ad warm as it is in the US, but the initial check in service was really quite terrible. We were on our honeymoon, so this start to the trip really put a damper on things.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel. My room was lovely and spacious. It was very clean and was cleaned and tidied every day which was very good. The bar lady was extremely friendly and polite. Only downside was the parking at £16 per night which is a bit too expensive. I would consider staying again if the car parking was less.

Checking in was nice and simple, foyer was clean, spacious and looked nice. Lift needs a number 1 button, even though I figured it out myself. Door to my room was small, I had lots of stains on my carpet. Broken tile on the bathroom wall. Only two plug socket’s in my room one low down under the floor length mirror and the other on top where the kettle plugs in. No instructions on how to use the phone let alone a marked button that says reception, I would not have touched it if I’m honest as it looked disgusting.

Stayed here before but I have found that the whole place looks a little more tired than previous visits especially the bathrooms. Sink and bath Taps needed a change, toilet pan squeezed into a tight space and the whole bathroom generally needed an overhaul.
Parking is atrocious in the dual level covered car park. Spaces are very tight, the place is very dimly light and very dirty with the hotel using it as a dumping ground for surplus equipment.
The car park is nothing more than a massive pigeon pen and expect your car to be soiled with droppings the next day. Pigeons roost on the steel framed roof joists and a simple fix would be to attach netting to the underside of the framework to stop pigeons getting into the high places and perching themselves there.

Was really surprised at how basic. There for 2 nights and unable to resolve issue of no controls for the TV! (Come on! How hard is that!). Just to make you aware, no usb points on sockets for chargers, £16 a night to park and inside the ULEZ so although it looks a cheap bargain, it really isn’t. Little things that say a lot- we arrived on Monday Evening at about 8pm- all the TVs in the bar/lounge/ reception area were ftozen on the news channel from 0.48am that morning. Throughout the whole stay, this was not fixed- we left Wednesday morning at 9!! Now, this isn’t a real impact issue but really shows the lack of regard in place here for making things right- ALL staff willing to just ‘leave it’. For me, shows lack of desire to make things right. Will not be stoping again

Not impressed. After working hard to gain £180 in credit a lot through other Mercure hotels. thought I would use this to treat the family. Whilst the room was spacious and the main bed comfy that is were there positives end. £16 per night use a car park that was not looked after, pull out bed was uncomfortable. The an extra £15 per person per night for a breakfast that was sub par and even when I asked for a pouched egg was told that is extra ???? We are waiting on an email

So the hotel is extremely disconnected from everything. Closest buss station is 10 minutes on foot. The bus station is 22 minutes away on foot.
There are 2 roads to get to the hotel, one is safe and good, the other one is closest but feels isolated and dangerous ( although i need to confirm that I have not had any threatening incidents)
The staff is...okay.. some are very nice, and some are passive.

one of the worse hotel i would say first day after i checked in i wasn't made aware their lift was broken i had room on second floor. i approached the lifts to find out they were broken had to move my heavy luggage through the staircase pretty annoying thought next day lifts would be fixed but not say trouble next day .room was below average cleanliness was poor .my kids bed broke while my mrs sqt on it to her shoes on luckily she wasn't hurt reported to the desk no help was offered instead staff asked me if my kid was jumping on it absolutely ridiculous and pathetic not so much helpful stuff at the reception. i would never stay here in the future

Not the usual standard of mercury’s we’ve stayed in, it was run down and grubby, the whole place smelled like lynx deodorant, very strong and overpowering.
I don’t think I came across a member of staff that smiled once. Check in was not welcoming at all either.
The room was not comfortable, the bed sheets also smelled musky, and my son burned his hand on the hot water tap as they were labelled incorrectly.
Even the carpark was full of dirty old mattresses, you could hear the rustling of animals inside them, that on top of the hundreds of pigions in there walking back to the car was not very nice at all.

Dining area bench seats had spillage stains. Helpful staff at breakfast, reception & one young lady on bar and restaurant duty. Dining menu limited and did not vary, dining room closed early on the Monday without notification. Overall painting requires to be re-done, walls & doors are chipped, corridors require to be re-carpeted. Hard to see where the certificate of 4 stars came from, apart from a raffle.

Was not aware that we would have to pay £16 parking, and when I complained the person checking us in just laughed. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. The room was so small, with only one bath towel and one hand towel for 2 of us. We arrived at the hotel at 18.00 but the room wasn’t ready even though the check in time was from 15.00. Eventually got the key at 19.00. Would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

Worst hotel stay i have ever experienced. Hotel staff rude and even tried entering our room 10 minutes after we had gone in it.
Rooms were not ready for us and after being promised it will be sorted we came back 3 hours later and the rooms were still not correct.

Waited more than 30 minutes to check in because the gentleman in front had booked a family room and was allocated a standard room, so his kids had to sleep on the floor (and he wasn’t very happy, and the hotel staff had no idea what to do). Rooms are small (can’t stand up in the bathroom) - and the beds are unbelievably uncomfortable. Only stay here if you really have no other options.

The rooms smell of damp, they are very narrow corridors, the rooms are crammed , the shower leaked all over the floor, no remote for TV when I arrived. Took over an hour to resolve. We had booked a queen room with spare single bed. This was not available on arrival - we were given a double room instead. The bedding and towels were clean but the room was dated and very cold. The fridge smelt mouldy and off and there were numerous stains on the carpets and walls.
