We stayed here for one night due to picking up a relative from Heathrow Terminal 2 early the next morning.
The service at the bar wasn’t great. There didn’t seem to be anyone serving and we waited a long time before being served. But the food did come out quite quickly which made up for the slow service to begin with.
We used the hoppa bus to Terminal 2 which was £10 return for each adult or £5.50 for a single ticket. That journey took less than 10mins.
The room was clean and tidy. The overnight parking charge was £16 which i thought was a little bit pricey!
We would stay here again but we did get lost finding the hotel so maybe not as that made our journey there a bit stressful.
Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Good position for Heathrow but disappointing.

We felt that the Hotel was in need of some investment. It was showing it´s age. It was cold and the windows were always steamed up. The bedding (pillows) smelt bad and we waited 2 hours for a tea bag to come, eventually fetching it ourselves. The breakfast was not good. Super local Indian restaurants in the village. We will not stay here again.

The only disappointment is they forgot my early morning call which could have been disastrous if I had missed my flight.

Can't go wrong staying at this Holiday Inn!

Whenever I fly out of Heathrow I always stay at the Holiday Inn M4/J4. It is a very nice place with courteous and helpful staff.
It is close to the airport, with frequent shuttle buses to and from the terminals.
Good food and a great continental breakfast will hit the spot too!

This booking was for my sister honeymoon , I mean it was her first night ,,, hotel people gave the room to someone else ,, and when they reached hotel they said we don’t have any room which u booked ,,, now if they want to stay or not ,, we didn’t have any other option then they have as standard double room with 2 single bed it’s worst ever ,,, I always book my rooms from hotel.com ,, in future m thinking of leaving you

Old and tired hotel

Main restaurant was closed, bar food was extremely average and they added an extra item to my bill.

The room was very dated and you could see just how tired the hotel exterior was from the window.

Only one parking space available (luckily) and was greeted with a £24 bill to use it upon arrival although no warning of this in advance.

Absolutely amazingly comfortable bed, room service food excellent, staff super accommodating. I stayed at the hotel because it’s very close to Heathrow airport and I had early flight the next morning. Taxi waiting for me (staff ordered for me at my request the night before) at 6:30 A.M. and check out took 30 seconds. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Happy to have chosen this hotel to stay

Service at this hotel is great and staff are very welcoming only down side was the vents making weird sounds which I could hear all night as I tried to sleep and then the smoke alarm went off as I slept which made it difficult to go to sleep and also having a do not disturb on my door only to get woken up by the maids cleaning the rooms outside my room making loud conversations so with this I couldn't rate it as top marks. I'd be happy to stay here again just hope i do have some rest and able to sleep.

Average Hotel let down by poor attention to detail

This hotel is OK, but there are things that let it down. My room smelled badly, mainly of stale smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Windows do not open so I couldn't air the room. There was a horrid looking damp patch/leak in the ceiling of the bathroom. It appeared to be coming from the room above and was around what I took to be the soil pipe. Since the stain was dark brown I was very concerned what was or had been leaking!

The kettle in my room did not work.

There was absolutely no communciation between reception and the restaurant, so that even though I had asked for breakfast to be included when I checked in, each morning I waa challenged about it, and was not allowed to start breakfast until the server had gone to check with reception.

Its a busy large hotel, and its OK. But details let it down.

Outside looks a little dingy, but inside it wonderful. The lounge and front desk areas to the bar and resturant area. Also the rooms are nice. Clean and orderly. Truely felt like home away from home.

No info at the terminal regarding bus H1, therefore I had to get a taxi at £20.00, whereas the bus to the terminal the following morning was only £5.60. I was asked to pay when I had already paid online and then a receipt for less than I had paid was slipped under the door overnight? Otherwise, the stay was fine except the windows would not open to give fresh air

Longest time to check in I have ever experienced, initially charged a higher fee for parking than should have and the first room had a foot border of mould on the bedroom carpet and stunk. Ad mitted room suppose to be out of commission.

Besy airport stay ever

Best airport hotel stay ever. Very quiet yet very convenient. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking perhaps a little expensive at GBP16/night, but given we only paid GBP75 for the room plus breakfast for two, then can't grumble. The room and bed were excellent, and the leafy view much better than the usual airport hotel. Highly recommended.

Issues and just ok for a airport hotel

Good proximity to the airport (about 25 min bus ride), however there were some minor issues with this hotel. It needs an updating. There were carpet stains. There was no USB power port in the room like most modern European hotels so I had to go downstairs to charge my phone. One of my biggest issue was that there was NO FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE. Their hotels.com profile says that there is a free airport shuttle however there is not. The shuttle cost $12 pounds round trip to LHR, which isn’t horrible but I specifically picked this hotel because of that option. There is a nice bar and nice restaurants and the staff was nice, but if I had to say here more than 12 hours, I wouldn’t do it. Luckily I was in and out.

Stayed here for 1 night as working in London to wake up to find my van had been broken into and my power tools stolen. Hotel was nice but as it’s such a big hotel and you could practically see my van from the reception I was not happy will not stay here again with a vehicle and £16 for parking which they didn’t even refund me

The hotel was conveniently located to Heathrow airport and very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean and safe.The available transportation via the Hoppa Bus service took a long time for both pick up to the hotel and back to the airport. Some of it probably could be blamed on the traffic in the area, but be sure to allow plenty of time. They also raised their rates without telling us on the day of departure. Also, the supposed pre-pay option in the lobby of the hotel does not work with a normal credit card. And, there is no cash option, so we had to pay the driver the higher rate. Also, the concierge suggested that we go to the Haymouth area for shopping and dining. This area also had the first underground station- about 45 min bus ride. The area was not conducive for our needs, but we were able to use the underground and go to a much nicer area of London. The concierge might be advised to reconsider offering that as a shopping / dining option for most of the clients of this hotel.

Reserved 2 non-smoking rooms and ended up with 1 smoking room (or at least used to be, still labelled as such and stank but no ashtray). The rooms were run down and shabby. There were water stains on the walls and the bathroom was moody. Furniture was beat up and very well used. One of the showers was broken but they did come and fix it very quickly. Beds were uncomfortable. Shuttle was the hoppa bus and cost £5 each way but runs twice an hour. Parking was something like £20 per day. I’m not sure if we got the terrible rooms because we booked on a bargain website but would not recommend or go back.

From the moment I arrived, staff were polite, welcoming and efficient - there was nothing I could complain about in terms of customer service.

My room was clean, comfortable and served its purpose. The bathroom door handle was broken but this was rectified immediately as soon as customer service were aware, and the maintenance man was very polite and efficient.

My only niggle would be that the car parking wasn't clearly advertised as an additional charge, and I feel £16 is excessive for a 1 night stay; and the exit road through the car park wasn't clearly signposted.

However, I would definitely stay again, it is a very convenient base for me when I visit family.

Standard of fitting and furniture in room was poor (broken drawers, door handle fell off, furniture trim tatty, bathroom ceiling covered in mould, etc.). Poor housekeeping service, expensive car parking, stale bread at breakfast. Air conditioning didn't appear to work. Kenco coffee sachet in room was nice.

Given London hotel prices, the deal with Hotels.com was excellent value for money. The only complaint about the condition of the hotel was rather grubby carpets, however the general standard of cleanliness was good. Service was excellent from staff who were without exception very helpful
