Check in was great, room was great. Can’t complain about that. However, doors slamming all night along the corridor and every half hour or so there was a 3 or 4 second burst of a low vibrating mechanical sound (possibly faulty HVAC echoing through the vents). I called down to reception around 2am but nothing was resolved. It continued until I checked out at 6.45am having had any sleep at all. Very disappointed.

I selected this hotel because it was close to Heathrow airport. I did not see anyplace nearby, such as a pub, but I did not ask. They had a fantastic kiosk in the lobby to book shuttles. I used it twice and was pleased both times. Staff were courteous and very helpful. I chose to prepay breakfast and that was perfect for me. The bar in the hotel serves food as well. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay.

We booked this hotel as it was close to the airport and we’re flying out the next morning. Check-in was very quick and efficient and staff were very kind. The room was much larger than I thought it was going to be. It was very clean and had a bottle of water waiting for us upon our arrival. I had the best nights sleep at this hotel after travelling for two weeks to multiple countries. Would highly recommend this hotel for it’s amenities and close proximity to the airport. We also had a very lovely meal at the restaurant located within the hotel, Cast-Iron and Grill. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive to our needs and provided excellent service. I had the corn fed chicken, which was absolutely delicious followed by Bailey’s Irish cream cheese cake which was scrumptious!

Decent enough for an early start at Heathrow T5. My room was fairly spacious and had working air con. The shower wasn’t the most powerful but adequate enough. The mattress seemed very old. The hotel was bigger than I expected and I wasn’t there long so didn’t try any facilities so can’t comment on. It was fairly straightforward to get to the airport, even before 5am. Would probably stay again if I had an early T5 start.

The property was as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we arrived the key system was down which was fine but when I got my key later it did not work. I had to go back to the desk and have a new one issued. I did not like that the smoking area was right outside the front door. We were waiting outside for the shuttle and had to go back inside because of all of the smokers. When booking the hotel we were unaware we had to pay for the shuttle. It should be more clear there is a cost for transport. With that being said the bus to the airport was easy to use and efficient in getting us there.

The worst aspects was the food in the bar area! We ordered Cod and Chips at a cost of £19.00 each! The fish was NOT Cod! It was thin, tasteless and greasy with a thick black skin coated in thick batter! They shrugged it off, offering another choice, but no refund. You would expect better from a Sheraton Hotel!

First, the check-in took over 5 minutes. When I finally received my key, I arrived at my room only to discover the key hadn’t been activated. So had to take long walk back to desk to activate. Finally, the room billed as a “deluxe” is just a basic ordinary room with no special amenities unless it is the TV that hasn’t been programmed for use yet. Furnishings are dilapidated and the view from this \"deluxe\" room is a lovely car park and warehouse facilities.
I will not stay at this hotel in the future.

At check-in they told me they couldn’t process my credit card and they asked for a 2nd credit card. Now, they have charged me on BOTH credit cards. I called the hotel but they will not respond or issue a refund. Don’t trust Sheraton Heathrow London by Marriott!
