Amazing hydrotherapy pool. Steam room nice sauna sadly closed for maintenance.
Room perfect for Heathrow hotel. Very clean big bed spacious.
Breakfast excellent, evening meal in hotel also very good - not cheap but fair price was good.
Easy transfer on “hoppa” bus to terminal 5 (NB this hotel is 10 minutes from terminal it is NOT on site terminal hotel which we found misleading)
Only gripe was only had alcoholic drinks available in executive lounge between 5-7pm.
Ideal stay for lunchtime flight. Thank you!

Staff was wonderful and welcoming. The breakfast was great, waiter was attentive and wonderful.
We had a suite, the heat in one of the rooms wasn’t working, it was late and maintenance wasn’t available, staff did send up a heater. The heating towel racks in the bathroom weren’t working either as well as the light in the mirror. The bathroom floor was freezing as there was no heat, I covered them in towels.There was a layer of dust on the desk top/ coffee area as well. No amenities, no cup in the bathrooms. My kids couldn’t take showers on their own as the soaps were too high for them to reach and they were attached to the shower wall. A very unusual experience for a Hilton.

Front desk staff were excellent on check in, very friendly and accomodating. Bar, resteraunt and Starbucks on premises were very friendly. Small issue with the drain in the room adressed by staff in a tinely manner. The hotel is around 1 mile from Heathrow making in conveinant to get to for flights. However, the prices for transport from the hotel to Heathrow are extremely expensive even for London prices. A one way black cab will cost you over 30 pounds for a one mile ride. We were originally told at the cab stand that it would cost 55 pounds. We refused and were given a rate of 30 pounds. Other options are available but this was the mid range option. Rooms are very well soundproofed and we could not hear a single plane overhead even though they are fairly close at times. If the very high cost of transport to Heathrow were addressed, this would be a solid five star rating.

The hotel was advertised as having spa facilities including a sauna. The sauna and the showers on the pool were out of action but this was not noted on the website or mentioned at check in. I would not have booked the hotel had I been aware. The room was advertised as having robes and slippers but they didn’t have either.

Staff at check in were too busy gossiping with other about another customer when we arrived & didn’t focus on telling us where breakfast was, not very professional at all

All of the lamps in our rooms did not work which was ridiculous ! So had to use the big light from the bed all the time

The breakfast check in was not explained & the hostess was quite rude & abrupt & didn’t explain much to us

The plug in the bath did not left up so all the shower water stayed in the bath - the bathroom looked old & run down

The QR codes for the room service on the TV where I’m working rather than making it easily accessible to find the menu with a challenge when it came to ordering when we asked for extra sauce rather than giving us the same sauce, they brought packet options rather than what we asked for and when it came to the food service, it took a bit and not everything on the menu was good. The food wasn’t out of this world and their breakfast it was OK it wasn’t anything to be wow about it was moderate breakfast. We expected more and the gym was very dirty especially on the floors overall is a good place to stay one night if you have a layover but at that point I personally will recommend sofiel hotel rather than Hilton. The best thing they had was the wood cards for the room and the Starbucks worker she was awesome.

Probably only best for the purposes of departing or earring from an airport (about a 10 minute drive from Heathrow Terminal 5).

Was only there a few hours overnight from a quarter to midnight so can't say much about the area but the hotel is great and staff very helpful ans pleasantly so.

A few pubs dotted about the proximity of the area and a few small villages a few short hops away (2-6 miles), but you're really there mostly for the purposes of being close to Heathrow airport to travel. It's not a bad places and had one of the largest rooms of a hotel I've ever stayed in. Will definitely return.

Hotel room was fine but we had a powercut 10 minutes before checkout and the corridors were pitch black along with the stairs. We spent a couple hours in the room trying to work out what to do as we had to carry a lot of luggage down which was heavy without any lifts. not one staff member offered help or gave us an update. we had to search the hotel in the dark using our phone torches to try and find stairs. The first stairs we found we got to the bottom to find a locked door and fire exit so we had to go back up and search the rest of the hotel until we found stairs leading to the reception. there was no sign to stairs and we just wandered around until we found it. Once getting to the reception not one person asked how we were or offered any help. When complaining through expedia to get compensation for this they lied to them and said the power cut was at 1pm after checkout when it was before 12pm and offered us nothing. Absolutely horrible experience from such a high regarded and prestigious hotel brand.

We traveled 12+ hours from USA to London.
When we got to the hotel, the power was out and unable to check in. The staff was nice, but there was no accommodation for anything. The power was completely out and the elevators were not working stairways were completely dark. Delayed checkin, no backup plan for power outage, and lack of compensation from hotel staff was disappointing and lack of top quality service from Hilton brands. Staff did they best they could, however, there was no backup plan and lack of comping free water or anything else.
The hotel also lost a wedding planned there during the power outages

Location being over a mile away from Heathrow Termial 5 without proper transportation is misleading calling Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5. We thought it was a walk from the terminal simliar to the Sofitel hotel. Also the showers are lousy and leak all over the bathroom with malfunctioning rubber water repellent between the shower doors. The hotel is barely a 3 star if not lower. Dinner was one of the worst on timing and food quality

Very slow check in which when late at night is frustrating. When we got to the room it was a very stale smell as if room hasn’t been used or aired recently. The hairdryer only had a cold setting which was not acceptable. But with having to make flight had to give up. It would appear that because people use this hotel as they need to be close to the airport, repeat business and good impressions are not considered important. Disappointing.

My stay was very nice, and check in was smooth. The large bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having a quiet space to relax in between flights. The only draw back from this stay were a few amenities malfunctioning in my room. The tv, which should display dinning options and help me order room service wasn’t working. My bathtubs’ drain would lift up again after being let down to draw a bath resulting in the bath water not draining. Other than these random problems, the stay was very enjoyable.

Heathrow Hilton Honest Review

I selected this hotel for an overnight stay prior to an international flight. My experience was consistent with the standard I have come to expect from the Hilton brand. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the reception team and offered the opportunity for a room upgrade, which, regrettably, I was unable to accept on this occasion.

The room itself was well-appointed, clean, and exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful environment ahead of my journey. I was also able to enjoy a few snacks on site which was convenient but quite expensive to be honest.

Of particular note was the ease of transport to and from the airport, with the Heathrow Hoppa service proving a reliable and efficient option, operating as advised and contributing to a smooth overall experience.

In summary, this was a positive and comfortable stay. I would not hesitate to return when next travelling from Heathrow Terminal 5. I might be my own snacks but that’s it.

We were told on arrival that we did not have a reservation because Expedia had cancelled our booking. I made the reservation through Hotels.com for 3 double rooms with 6 adults in January and had confirmation of the booking so I am not impressed by either Hilton or Hotels.com. If the reservation had been cancelled why was I not notified by either company? Why was I embarrassed for my guests by having to find alternative accommodation for 2 nights during Ascot week? We ourselves were there to attend Ascot. Hotels.com tried to find alternative accommodation for me but because your office is outside the UK you could not process the payment. Your customer care needs work. When on the telephone to your office I got cut off several times and could not get back directly to the operator dealing with me nor could they call me back because of policy. Very dissatisfied.

We ONLY booked this place for the spa. It is the main thing they advertise, with plenty of pictures of the pool. We planned our travel to have the whole afternoon there so we could relax between flights, but once we arrived we learned that the spa was closed. The pool was closed. It was all closed. They didn’t give a reason. They didn’t say when it would be open again. They made no suggestions for compensation. They didn’t pre-warn us so that we could have booked somewhere else. Having looked online it seems it has been closed for months, yet they are still advertising it as an available amenity. False advertising.
