It was exactly what I needed for a long layover. Convenient. Staff was friendly. I actually didn’t mind the airplane noise (they’ve added a sort of second layer window I think? It helped block the sound). Most of the local restaurants had stopped serving food by the time I had arrived, but there was an Indian place 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Only downside was the fridge in the room wasn’t cold. For the price, will definitely stay there again.

The room was ok. Very small but fine for one night. There is no reception to book in. I was actually told that the hotel I went to wasn’t the one I booked at and send miles away only to find out it was actually that hotel. I had to walk into the restaurant that was closed and shout for someone to come and give me my room key. I felt an inconvenience. I would t go there again.

This was v poor quality accommodation. Many things were broken in both rooms e.g cracked mirror, curtain rings, toilet seat lid, shower only hanging by 1 screw, damaged cupboards, mussing bathroom tiles, gaffer tape on floor, missing tv from brackets to name a few.
Generally not a nice environment to walk into - had a feel of bedsits to it and left us with a feeling of unease.

As they say …. You get what you pay for , but good clean comfy bed, it’s definitely a workers B&B , fridge didn’t work in room , no where to hang anything in room, shower although Hot was very old.

Last minute booking. You get what you pay for and it was definitely worth £50. Obviously noisy with flights landing and taking off but stopped after 11pm. Room was warm but how often do we get such high temperatures. Food in the restaurant was excellent along with the service.

Twice I stayed here now and it’s a great spot near Heathrow. You wouldn’t think there was somewhere so lively there but There’s a great Italian restaurant and bar there which always is busy and great atmosphere. Lije being somewhere else other than next to runway! The rooms far enough away to have a great sleep but if you need there’s always a nice scene going on in the bar. The owners so welcoming he always seems to make an effort to say hello and remembers you! The chef who works the pizza ovens real cool as well he made me laugh and feel part of family. Which is something the Italians do so well - very good value for money and when I have to go there I always want to make time for a night in colnbrook!

Bit of a funny little place right under the flight path but the noise didn’t bother me as the planes stopped in the early hours and didn’t start again until early morning.
The bed was comfortable and the room adequate. The double glazing was rather worn out and didn’t close properly which may have helped with the aircraft noise

A bad night's sleep guaranteed!
The rooms are directly above a noisy restaurant, but with the paper thin floors and walls, it might as well have been at the bottom of my bed! I went down to the restaurant/reception to ask for another room but was just told that the restaurant would be closing in 10 minutes, after which the noise levels continued as the restaurant staff continued talking until well after 11pm. Do NOT staying here if you require a good night's sleep!

The hotel is easy for Heathrow Airport it was very clean, just dated and smelt of damp. The bedding smelt of smoke. The restaurant downstairs looked to serve lovely food, and the staff were friendly. For the price it is convenient for the airport and fair for what you pay.

This place bills itself as a lodge, but is actually a restaurant with rooms upstairs. There is no one on site after the restaurant closes at night, or in the morning when checking out. Although it is an older place, it was clean, close to the airport, and the price was good. Just don't expect a cozy lodge.

Dirty, wall paint literally peeling off in large patches surrounding some strategically placed artwork that was positioned so low it would make you wander if it was an attempt to cover up even larger wall disaster area . Scared to touch sliding mirror doors in case they come off the rails. Shower- well, i left the best - as in, worst-for last. Mould everywhere, which was no surprise. Tiny shower cubicle with extra large curtain that would cling to you whether you like it or not (don't mean to be sarcastic but whats not to like about a wet dirty curtain clinging to you and aint nothing you can do about it?). Shower wall and ceiling had patches of repair but gaps werent sealed. Not sure whats the point of such repair but again, hardly a surprise.
Windows didn't open, except for one smallest at the top, but had to move heavy chest of drawers in the middle of a tiny toom to get access. Id leave a 0 star if i could.

They were extremely helpful to me when I was unable to arrive by the late check-in time of 11pm and when I phoned, sorted out ensuring I would be able to gain access easily.

I had no choice to give 1star but wanted to give 0. I have no words for this place. We were given a key and told where to go and at first, we thought there was a mistake and we may have walked in to the wrong room, but no!! There was mold in the bathroom and broken fixtures, the shower head looked like it would sprinkle anything but clean water. The walls were peeling and unkempt, the bed was near to being a mattress on the floor it was that low. We left at 11pm, 2hrs after our check-in following getting bitten by something unknown which drew blood. It could have been 1 of many spiders or a bug/mite but it would be hard to decide on the one!!!

We hadn't given an arrival time as our plans were fluid. However when we arrived we found the only entrance was via the Italian restaurant below and that door said CLOSED on it. Fortunately as we were pondering a man came across the carpark and in the door so we asked him. He seemed totally surprised to see us and implied we weren't booked to be there. He then went and found someone else who eventually looked on the computer and agreed we were booked to be there and then we were given the keys. Very offputting no apology that he had said we weren't meant to be there. We only wanted a bed for the night and that is what it was and it was adequate. Had we been of large build and/or minor mobility issues the bathroom would have been a problem as to get to the toilet one had to squeeze past the sink then turn in a very small space and sit with you knees under said sink when using the facilities.

The hotel was brilliantly situated for Heathrow airport terminal 5, and the restaurant downstairs looked good although we didn't get an opportunity to try it. The bedding was clean and the mattress was ok. Not the comfiest, not the worst. The room was in desperate need of an update and the shower didn't have a holder so we had to hold it to wash, but for what we needed which was a basic, cheap bed for the night, it was great.

I'm going to sound old, but the restaurant (which was below the rooms) was pretty noisy, which made early sleep difficult, and the planes overhead were quite loud. There was one bathroom for 4-5 rooms, which was a little stressful at one point, but it worked out.

When we entered the room we first noticed the smell. We then saw the bedside cabinet top was broken and hanging off. There were two single beds although we had booked a double bed and one of the divans had a stain at the bottom and both the divan had seen better days. Also the shower had dark staining on the sealant. The only good thing was the sheets looked clean. We decided to not stay and left the keys in the room and left we didn't the manager as they looked very busy in the restaurant.

Exactly what was needed for a whistle stop between two long days of driving. Can't thank the staff enough for helping to accommodate my late arrival (a phone call from myself the morning of arrival was followed by an evening one by the hotel to make sure the situation was still the same) after check-out time had finished. The room (a single) was small but had toilet and shower facilities, the bed itself, sink and washing facilities, a kettle with tea and coffee and a medium-sized fridge! Location is ideal for Heathrow too and the hotel is adjoined by an Italian restaurant

Ripped wallpaper and general bad decoration. Curtains did not pull and meet in the middle. Extremely low bed. Small shower cubicle with manual mixer, head that would not stay in place and it had plasterboard patched ceiling. No bedside tables. TV had no signal.

Ripped wallpaper and general bad decoration. Curtains did not pull and meet in the middle. Extremely low bed. Small shower cubicle with manual mixer, head that would not stay in place and it had plasterboard patched ceiling. No bedside tables. TV had no signal.
Only positive was clean bedding and towels.
If it wasnt for the fact that we had travelled for over 5 hours, it being late and that we'd already paid, we would have walked!

It is not the most up to date and one cannot deny the aircraft noise which could be a real issue if you are not used to it.
For me, as a solo female traveller I have felt really comfortable in a place where the staff are so helpful and delightful, and, indeed this has prompted me to book to prolong my stay.
Also, being able to park my car is a huge benefit.
I will always be recommending that people give this place a try......but don't expect luxury, air conditioning or any miracle cure for aircraft noise.

The shower head was terrible as was the water pressure. It was almost impossible to take a shower. The toilet had a broken handle making it very hard to use. I would never stay there again.
