Despite my booking including breakfast, the hotel charged me again for the children stating only adult breakfasts are included with Expedia. Thankfully Expedia eventually got me this refunded but it took some arguing with the hotel (Expedia customer service was great). The room was cool and blowing cold air from the air con which couldn't be adjusted. The room looked really nice but there was hair in my bed which was a bit yeuch. Breakfast was fair but the bacon was dry and tough, still we made sure we got our money's worth as I hadn't got my refund at that point!!

It has been mentioned before in reviews and I can confirm the hotel room we stayed in was a little on the cold side and no amount of messing with the thermostat seemed to help.
That being said, on bringing this to the attention of staff they promptly provided us with a couple of portable radiators and it warmed up nicely.
The hotel its self is in a great area for LHR - terminal 5 specifically - with a bus stop right outside which is serviced frequently and costs as little as £1.50 per person to get you to the airport. Food options very limited in the hotel but there are a couple of options within a 2 minute walk. For the price, it’s great preflight option.

Room had no heating. cold air con fan stuck on constant - 16 degree temperature. Hotel did provide a heater as a temp solution but the issue went un repaired for the duration of stay for 3 days. Toilet cistern wasn't operating correctly and made annoying sound at all times. Mattress's in this hotel are cheap and uncomfortable. Pre paid for breakfast but was told they had ran out of bacon for 2 days running. Each time told to come back tomorrow. this was at 0830. Used to be nice breakfast here but cheap sausages now and tinned watery mushrooms. Heating issue should have been flagged by hotel on booking the same day or at check in rather than leaving many guests cold. This only puts more pressure on the staff trying to deal with the problems.

Very comfortable, clean room for a very good price. And it's a 5 minute door to door minute journey on the 703 bus form terminal 5. A minor issue was the heat/AC could not be turned off, and when I asked the front desk to check it out, they said they end someone to look, but nobody came. I was checking out that day anyway. And the shower doesn't drain in the tub until you get out, so you're standing in your own water when showering. Aside from these small issues, it's an excellent hotel for the price and thoroughly recommended.

The room temperature never went over 16.5C. We’re given with two portable heaters. We left them on overnight and it was 20C next morning. Given the price and location, I wasn’t expecting a great deal to be honest, however I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and a swift check in and the room was clean and well presented. What surprised me most was despite the proximity to the airport and being on the flight path, I honestly didn’t hear a single plane taking off. My only negative was the fact that I’m a two-pillow sleeper and we only had one pillow each. A minor gripe but not enough to deduct any stars. Overall very pleased with our stay.
