This is a rest-stop airport hotel, so it did exactly what we wanted it to do. It was clean, the staff were pleasant and it was VERY quiet, which is EXACTLY what one wants after a long flight. We were there for one night after flying from LA and then flying the next day to Crete, so was ideal. The only real pain is getting a regular bus to and from the airport. Just bizarre nor having a shuttle, so people with luggage are all trying to squeeze onto a regular bus with regular people. Other than that, perfect.

Surprised how quiet it was noting proximity to Heathrow. Only issue I had was size of towels: not big enough for after a shower.
No amenities were used as literally slept overnight and left first thing.

I only stayed one night. The carpets in the hallway were gross. Very dirty and u smell marijuana in the hallways. The carpet in the room was faded and just looked stank. Carpet needs to be replaced and so does some of your staff. Everything just looked old and not clean.
Front desk staff were not very friendly. Not helpful. The driver who was taking me to the airport was told I had checked out at 9:45am and left. Meanwhile, I was still in my room at that time and I had come down for breakfast (which was decent) but I never checked out. I was going to after I finished eating. Yet the driver was told I had left. For $109 for the night. I guess u get what u pay for. The breakfast and the convenience from the airport give it the 2 stars from me.

I was surprised to how good the hotel was! Location is not so great for local stuff (but I'm not sure why you would stay in Hounslow anyway)? but for the airport, car-hire it's fine. Reasonable dining, great staff, rooms are very good (I was shocked)! Recommended.

Room at the Ibis was fine. We were booked to fly out from Terminal 5. With bags, it was a slog to this hotel which is near Terminal 2/3. Ended up getting a taxi to hotel at cost of 12 pounds. Description said there was a shuttle from the hotel to catch our flight at terminal 5 - no shuttle exists. We were referred to taxi or Uber. You could catch a bus but with bags, that was a no go. Ended up getting a cab to Terminal 5 at cost of 34 pounds.
My advice is to book a hotel closer to Terminal 5 if that is your terminal and save the hassle.

Easy to get to the hotel from Heathrow airport bus terminal. Welcoming arrival from the staff and easy check in. The room had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise. Would definitely stay again.

The property has is very basic. The room was comfortable with very good bed and updated bathroom! Staff was very accommodating and helpful! The evening staff even provided us an ice bucket to keep milk cold overnight until the morning. The location is convenient for the airport but nothing else. No store or restaurants nearby. So this is perfect for staying overnight for an early morning flight, but nothing else for traveling to London as it is not close to any train station, although buses stop right in front.

Breakfast was really good, many choices of hot and continental. I had a day use plus an overnight stay. The hotel was quiet enough from 9am after an overnight flight that I was able to sleep without being woken up. It's an Ibis, so not much else to say. Room on the small side (I was traveling solo so it was ok, but with 2 people and luggage it's going to take a bit of Tetris). It's reasonable and clean - nothing groundbreaking but very useable. I have to say I would stay 1 night just for the breakfast. Very good for the price. You can take a local bus from the airport to the hotel, drops you just outside the door practically. To go back, you have to cross the road and a slightly longer walk to the bus stop, but overall very doable with luggage. (I had one large suitcase and was very manageable - a shorter walk than you deal with in the airport from the Heathrow Express to ticketing/check-in.)

Good basic room near Heathrow. £15 taxi ride from terminal 3 to Ibis and £12 Uber ride back. To go “downtown”. Would take £10 Uber to Hounslow Station then Tube to Downtown. Room is basic IKEA like. Good for the about £100 one night stay before leaving in AM.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now when I come to London. The rooms are larger more “American” sized rooms, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the proximity to Terminal 2 and 3 is very close and accessible. It is fast to reach my bus and by taxi, plus it has a minimart right next door for any last minute shopping needs. Access to the bus terminal and the underground are all at terminal 2 and 3 so getting into downtown London is very easy. Only 15-20 minutes to Windsor via uber as well.

This place was great for an overnight stay for a long layover. Got checked in quickly. They even upgraded me for free! Little hard finding the room, but once we found it, we were good. Didn't have the breakfast. Found a cab driver willing to take us to the castle and then the airport, so we took that opportunity instead.

I don’t know if this hotel has changed hands but the service I received at this hotel was terrible. There had been a mix up with booking a room. Initially, I booked a twin room to pay at the property, but I was charged before I got there. So then I rebooked another twin room with my partner’s credit card. The reception staff then claimed I booked two rooms. I hadn’t. Hotels.com told me they’d refund me the amount that left MY account. The reception staff tried to fob me off and said a refund would be coming my way. But as the first booking had my card details on it it will get refunded to me. They claimed the payment on my partner’s credit card wasn’t on the system. Then, despite it saying breakfast included, we were charged for breakfast. I shan’t be staying at this hotel ever again.

Always worth stating here, if you have an early flight out of Heathrow, or if you work close by. The place is new, the rooms are functional, clean, modern and comfortable. This ‘style’ that they are so sure they have cracked, is very much a matter of taste/up for debate, but it’s neutral enough to be OK. I’m sure I’ll stay here again at some point.

I was using the hotel as a one night stay before an early morning flight so the proximity and transport to the airport were excellent. The staff were very good and allowed me early access to my room. So, from the practical point of view, it served its place perfectly. However, the comfort of the bed was very poor. The mattress wasn’t just very firm, it was downright solid with no give whatsoever. I also have to say that whoever chose the design of the carpet needs their head examined. The pattern gives the impression that it’s dirty with stains of spillage all over. I know this is a personal point of view but it gave me the impression of uncleanliness and not wanting to walk barefoot on it.
So, to sum up: practically - excellent; comfort - poor. Value for money, I suppose where it is and what people will generally use it for, it is good. Would I use it again? Probably not.

Non-smokers should avoid staying in the annex. A designated smoking area is located by the entrance, and the stairwell acts as a chimney, allowing smoke to circulate throughout the building.

Being so close to the airport, they don't have shuttle service to LHR. When asked, they were like take a bus. Didn't even offer to arrange a taxi or suggest an Uber. We specifically booked ibis near me airport for shuttle facility. Additionally, the receptionist was like there is one another ibis down the road and that one has airport shuttle.

Dinner food was very mediocre. Breakfast staff was a bit rude. She appeared stressed and was the only one around. So probably should have an extra staff to not stress their staff.

This is a great place to stay, so near the airport you could take the city bus across the street for less than two pounds straight to the Central Bus Station right in the airport, where you could walk to Terminal 2 or 3 easily. The Airport Hoppa coach would cost you almost seven pounds.

The English breakfast was plentiful and the place was quiet. Great prices, great staff, highly recommended. Only negative is the maze like way to go to your room! I would stay again.

The rooms are nice but the hotel is without many vending machines.. so if you have travelled a long time bring your own food. The room was a bit stuffy and the wifi did not work. It’s a bit expensive to get there from the airport- in hindsight I would have picked a hotel closer to the airport.

The room was perfectly adequate for one night, but it did not have tea or coffee. However, a 24 hour multimix tea/coffee/chocolate dispenser, free, is available adjacent to reception. Don’t expect haut cuisine either. The dinner menu includes meat balls with pasta. I asked if I could have meat balls with mashed potato but no, the meals come prepacked so substitutions are not possible. The meal came with a small bowl of peas and if I was in charge of the kitchen I’d be embarrassed to serve them. I might as well have been chewing on old bus tickets. They were totally flavourless.

And don’t get your hopes up for the bar They have a large selection of spirits but only two draught beers, one being a lager and the other another light beer, and I had been looking forward to a good British IPA or even a bitter! Over all, I’m glad that I was there for only one night.
