Good hotel for tourist travellers. 10mins driving from airport. Around one hour travel from the airport by bus. The surroundings are nice and quiet. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets to buy any food or other items. Staff friendly. Breakfast if not included costs 10euros per person.

As an ‘airport hotel’ I would expect a shuttle or some sort of service to the airport. It’s a basic hotel with nothing special though clean and relatively comfortable. But only option to airport is taxi/uber. No reason to stay in this location.

Overall a decent stay

The property is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport, which was a plus. However, check-in required quite a bit of personal information (address, phone number, email), which felt a bit excessive for a low-key hotel.

The room was clean, though fairly basic—nothing particularly memorable. We stayed, a family of 4, in a corner room and could hear some noise from children in the room above, which affected the quiet a bit.

There’s a park right across the street with a few restaurants nearby, which made grabbing a bite easy, but there isn’t much else to explore in the immediate area.

Although this is labelled airport it's still quite a way. 23 euros on Bolt. Worst thing was no kettle , which you have to ask for and have to pay a 10 euro deposit. Then also ten euro deposit for an extensíon cord. This penny pinching really lets an otherwise quite nice place down . It's not good to not feel trusted. Takes an hour to get to the centre of madrid, train is a 10 minute walk.

Room for improvement

Hotel needs updating and we were not provided enough towels. Air conditioning was turned off when we were getting dressed without prior notice. Staff initially told us it broke down and they could not tell us how long it would take them to fix it but when we indicated we would be switching to another hotel, we were told they were updating the thermostats and had briefly disconnected the units on our floor. In the end, the issue was resolved but would have preferred for them to be more straightforward about it.

The corner room was clean, spacious and had an excellent view. The night desk agent was professional and she did her best to accommodate. The problem was with the morning male desk clerk who had unprofessional behavior, had a rude attitude and was unhelpful. He looks miserable at work and unloads it on to the guests. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised. The roof was prepared specifically for my family with 2 extra cots for our family. Staff were friendly and explained some nuances that we were not aware of. They also booked taxis for us when needed. Very comfortable, very clean.
Overall - great experience - only downside was the noise levels from outside. Nothing that was affected by the hotel or staff.

Travelodge was a great decision for a short stay. The gentleman working the morning shift helped our family check in early. You have to ask for tea service as it is not available in the room. The gentleman in the afternoon/night was not too friendly but maybe he was just about to clock out, not sure. Other than that it is pretty close to the airport via taxi and unfortunately no shuttle.

Upon getting into our room after check in, we discovered some form of body fluid on the floor that needs house keeping’s attention. Called reception desk to either have house keeping cleaned it or move us to another room. Neither request was granted. I end up cleaning it. Staff said the hotel does not have housekeeping.very annoyed about it but good thing it was a one night stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. We added the breakfast buffet and it was worth it. Very convenient as we have had trouble finding a decent breakfast location. There’s lots of parking after 7pm and there are a few restaurants at a 3min walking distance.

There were only 2 bath towels, no washcloths or hand towels, 1/2 roll of toilet paper, very limited drinks and snacks, pizza was small and not good at all.... breakfast was also limited selection @$10....staff was fairly friendly, but seemed annoyed when I came to the front desk n ordered pizza and a beer, no wine... you're unable to order from the room, you must come downstairs.... They called for a taxi quickly and ck out was easy...room was clean but very sparse.... thermostat was confusing...Staff did try their best to be accommodating ....

The area around the hotel is nice with excellent bars and public transportation but the very front of the property needs attention and cleaning. The side walk is dirty and planters are unattended and holding garbage.
It’s the only hotel that I have stayed in many years that doesn’t offer free wifi, I finally got it but after almost begging and bribing for it.
There is not even one free bottle of water on arrival, or a water dispenser in the lobby.
Breakfast was very good. Beds comfortable and cleaning is excellent.

One elevator was out of service and the only other elevator they had almost crushed one of us by closing while she was entering. Front desk was informed and shown her scrapped arm (it wasn't anything terrible we just didn't want it to happen to someone else) they did not show any interest. Room temperature was warm, we tried to adjust it but it went from warm to hot. It's not really close to the airport unless you take a taxi (or Uber). They charge for WIFI in room, password for free common areas WIFI is only found in a poster with small fonts at the front desk. Eggs at breakfast were cold.
