Awful room that was so hot it was unbearable. Bed springs broken. Only one lift was working for a 9 floor hotel. No amenities for 18 month old child. The single rudest receptionist I’ve ever met in my life (I’ve complained to the Leonardo chain directly about her). All towels in the room had holes in them?!

All in all, the worst hotel I’ve stayed in for 10 years!

Ich war zum 2.Mal in diesem Hotel und kann es nur weiterempfehlen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und vielfältig und die Lage ist Top. Das Hotel ist sehr gut an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel angebunden und auch zu Fuß kann man leicht das Brandenburger Tor, die Museumsinsel und den Alexanderplatz erreichen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und professionell.

Rooms are on the small side so upgrade if you can.
We had real issues whilst there with the lifts. One evening all three were out of actions.
People having to walk up to 9th floor!!

The AC wasn’t working and so the room was extremely hot. I opened a window but moving the curtains brought so much dust into the room and on my open luggage. And it didn’t make a difference in terms of heat.
The housekeeping staff kept knocking my door before check-out. I still had 10 minutes left so there was no need to be this persistent. Better to give space and let guests wrap up before they have to leave.

Great location in the center of the city, next to the river and several beautiful neighborhoods. Front desk was very helpful and polite.

But, room was not clean (dirt on the floor, dirt on the bed), 2 of the 3 elevators did not work, and the fitness center was out of order.

A great location near to the train station and within easy walking distance of many main sites and a nice walk along the river to other areas of the city. Great room with powerful shower, safe, tea / coffee facilities, fridge and comfy bed.

Second time I've stayed at this establishment, so that says it all. Lovely accommodating staff, great Doner kebabs a few steps away, lovely Irish pub within a stone's throw, and very close to the S-Bahn & U-Bahn (5 minute walk).

You can also very easily walk to the Brandenburg Gate.

A decent mid-range hotel in a great location

A good hotel in terms of it being very central - a perfect location in Mitte, on the Spree on Friedrichstrasse near the train station, boat launches and zillions of restaurants. Free mineral water is a nice touch. The rooms are tiny. Very cramped for two travelers with full-size suitcases. If you have mobility issues, might be a challenge. Which isn’t unusual in Europe. The breakfast is very expensive, so budget-conscious travelers should look elsewhere. Overall, we got our money’s worth.

We were in Berlin for four days, doing a Rick Steves city tour, visiting museums, Checkpoint Charlie, and the amazing KaDeWe.

Location: the hotel is very close to the train station and only a few minutes walk from a Lidl grocery store. And it's only about 100 m from the Spree river.
Staff: the reception desk people were very knowledgeable and helpful and fluent in English.
Luggage storage: We were able to store our luggage at the hotel after we checked out so we could have another day of touring without lugging it around.
Breakfast: I can't talk about it because we skipped the very expensive hotel breakfast (22€ each) and ate our own snacks and groceries instead.
Fitness center: I had to get my room key coded to allow access to the fitness center. (If you know you'll use it, they can add that access during check-in.)
Elevator/stairs: one of the three elevators wasn't working while we were there. The main staircase connects floors -1 to 1-9. There's a way to use stairs to get to floor 0 too.
View: Nope. From our room, we could just see the building across the street.
Air conditioning: worked like a charm.

Great location right by the Friedrichstrasses S Bahn which goes to the airport. Lots of restaurants by the river Spree. Nice hotel bar good for a night cap. Hotel provided body wash only, no other bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tissues), no pen, paper etc. The hotel has AC which is great but could use some basic maintenance as it was leaking and there was black mold on the ceiling that takes a while to develop. Room very small—even smaller than a Paris hotel room. Little storage space for luggage (we only had two backpacks and found it difficult). Furniture was worn. Room was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom and shower were fine. For the cost one can do better. Easy walk to transportation.

Hotel was okay, modern and mostly clean. Staff didn't help with issues well. The tablet in our room said we could request items from a list that we may have forgotten. We had forgotten a comb which was on the list. When I asked reception, the man looked dismissive if my request and told me to buy one at the train station over the road. One of toilet rolls in the room was heavily covered in brown stains which we choose to think was dried mud and not something else. The bed was comfortable and shower facilities good. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from a train station that goes directly to airport. 5/10 walk to Brandenburg gate, memorial to murdered Jews of Europe and the main central road of Berlin. It was an average hotel.

Room was clean. However needed new mattresses. Was a sinkhole on outer edge of each bed. Hard to roll over as you had to roll uphill to get out of hole. Made for uncomfortable nights sleep. Also, housekeeping let themselves in room 3 times starting at 8am both mornings of stay. Each time I had to tell them to leave. Twice they had to get a co-worker as they did not speak English.

Nice, clean, hotel. Good sized rooms and low levels of noise. Good location right by Friedrichstraße and the river Spree. Some near by reasonably priced restaurants.

Another review mentions the lifts: they're still an issue. There was only two in operation on my visit. You'll often face queues to get out. Take the stairs for regular outings and leave a few minutes early if you've got luggage

The hotel is very nice, it faces onto the Spree river and there are restaurants dining on the walkway which was lovely to see.

The staff in the hotel were super warm and friendly during each interaction and so helpful.

The hotel is 3mins walk from Froedrichstraße station which is a direct connection to the airport and central station. The location of rhe hotel is great, very central and lots of amenities nearby. We paid an avg of €140 per night which we felt was good value for a last minute booking and compared to hotels nearby. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Quick and easy check in, really lovely staff on the desk.
Room was great - plenty of sockets to charge devices etc. Bed was comfortable, shower was excellent, the tea/coffee was a nice bonus.
