Such a lovely hotel so glad we stayed on our 3 night break to Berlin, wonderful friendly staff, nothing to much trouble, first class room great nights sleep and lovely shower, breakfast is continental style but has an amazing choice of food, great position to get around Berlin, would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay - the room was really clean, quiet and cosy and the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel is located very close to all the popular attractions and it’s easy to get around with tube and tram stops close by. There are also some lovely coffee shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The only one thing I would say is that I found the bed a little uncomfortable, it was too hard for my liking, but that’s just personal preference. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice hotel. Room very clean and comfortable. Location good and many things were walkable or a stroll to the local station. Rooms were a bit warm even when we turned Aircon down to 18.
Have read on other reviews about the amazing breakfast but to be honest it was not our favourite. Lots of choice but some weird concoctions on the buffet table. We had breakfast included @ €25 each and it was not worth that much. Our friends did not have it and there were lots of places nearby.
I think we would have given it 5 stars if the options at breakfast hadn’t been so unusual

This property was amazing! It’s a hidden gem. The little things they do are top notch. They had 2 duvets on the bed so each had your own. They had face clothes. The room was totally decorated and spotless. The cleaned daily. The had homemade cookies at the reception desk that were so good. We dropped out bags early and they moved our bags to our room. Loved this place!

The room was a delightful surprise--spacious, beautifully decorated in neutral tones and textured fabrics and decor, with a large bathroom and shower with rain shower and hand held fixtures. It's clear the hotel pays attention to detail. Little touches like an onyx box holding toiletries, modern reading sconces next to the bed, rattan accessories added to our experience. Everything is modern and minimalistic but warm and inviting. We ate breakfast at the hotel once and it was excellent--eggs, cereals, juices, all served beautifully. The only downside was that the mattress was hard and the pillows not fluffy. I hope the hotel will consider investing in better quality mattresses and pillows, since sleep is one of the room's key purposes. Otherwise, this was a lovely boutique hotel, a short walk to the quaint but quiet historic area of Spandauer Vorstadt with its cafes, shops and galleries.

This is lovely hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, it doesn't even have a sign to say it's a hotel, so fits in well in a quiet residential street. Very comfortable, well appointed and clean room. Staff are all lovely and helpful, excellent transport links nearby. The hotel is in a historical and vibrant area, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. It's a great place to stay to explore Mitte and Berlin as a whole, will definitely return.

The staff was so friendly at this hotel! They really did go above and beyond. Though we did elect breakfast at the time of booking it was very easy to opt in on days when we were running late and it was a very good deal for the price. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious and nice. Good and quiet area too not too far from some great bars and restaurants. I would certainly stay there again!

Our hotel room was easily the best-designed and -equipped room that we enjoyed in our three weeks in Belgium, Holland, and Berlin. It included a smart TV, a high-end king-size bed and bathroom fixtures, air conditioning, a Nespresso coffee maker, a refrigerator, and cups and glassware allowing us to prepare in-room breakfasts and late-afternoon wine and cheese plates at a fraction of the cost available outside the hotel. A fine market open six days per week until 10 p.m. is located directly across Torstrasse from the hotel, and there are excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Mitte is now the center of Berlin, and there are tram and subway stops, and a rail station, within three blocks of the hotel. We nevertheless walked the ten blocks from the hotel to the Staatsoper and Museum District. The management of the hotel is super-cooperative and helpful. There are no negatives.

Lovely hotel with a bit of a retro feel. The bed was really comfy. Bathroom was stunning with a walk in shower. A few little things on arrival like a flickering light bulb, a locked safe and an automatic sink plug that wouldn’t drain. We had a quick response on all these things. Sink plug was prised up but remained unusable.

We loved Berlin and this hotel was ideally placed with many restaurants on our doorstep. We would recommend the Salamat Lebanese just around the corner.

Located at mile 8 of the Berlin Marathon. The staff was amazing and so nice. Great room that was clean with a comfy bed. Quiet room. With the windows closed we didn't hear any street noise. Easy to walk to the start line and any subway stops. Would stay here again. Oh and I forgot my water bottle when we checked out and the front desk guy ran a block to give it back to me. So nice!

Had a double room out front, 302, and it was quite outstanding, roomy, comfortable, big bath, well designed, stylish, A/C, breakfast was excellent and the staff was really five star all the way. Great location in Mitte, dining and art around every corner. Bit of street noise on Friday night out front, but that is to be expected in a big city. I was happy with my choice.

I stayed two nights in this hotel, staff is very friendly and willing to support with tips about where to go and do in Berlin. The room was big and very comfortable bed.
Its is very well connected by public transport, there many options in deed, so you can use the metro, buses or trams to go around Berlin. The 24 hour Gym was a surprise, really didn't expect this.
I found this hotel a real value for money..

Good location from the city centre. Excellent transport links, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were brilliant; courteous, helpful and efficient. They left a chocolate bunny outside our door on Easter day which was a very nice touch! We noticed on our last full day there was bit of food under the bed (not belonging to us) that had not been picked up but this was a small blemish on what is an excellent hotel with all you need. We'd definitely consider returning here in the future.

All is good! My first time in Berlin and enjoy so much staying 5 nights here. I don’t know what I can complain about this place, it’s so perfect! Clean and spacious, lots of natural light as well. A beautiful hotel just a short walk away from the U-Bahn and other connections, so it’s extremely easy to get anywhere, the hotel room itself was perfect for a weeks stay with everything we needed. The area was very quiet at night even though it’s in the centre, which was nice. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
When I go back to Berlin I will be definitely staying here again!!

This hotel is situated in Mitte which is definitely the area to stay whilst in Berlin. Mitte has a good feel to it and also feels very safe The hotel is in a small side road and therefore very quiet, however step outside and within a couple of minutes you will start to see numerous restaurants and bars. We paid to stay in a 'comfort' room, it was extremely large and absolutely immaculate, the bathroom was too with a very efficient walk in shower. Nice touches were the ipad to use and there was an expresso coffee maker (two capsules provided per day) as well as the usual instant tea/coffee and kettle. Breakfast was good, again everything pristine, with a good buffet selection. We found the staff very helpful, especially with recommendations for restaurants (try Petrocellis if you like Italian -turn left out of hotel and left again, walk a couple of blocks, it is on the left) and also for directions on how to get places. Apart from taking the S-Bahn to Charlottenburg Palace, we walked to all the main sites very easily, take a map with you and you really won't get lost. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Berlin for a few days.

The front desk staff was awesome and very friendly. They have a breakfast for 12 euros and a small but decent lobby with candles and jazz playing if you want a glass of wine. The gym was nice and had free weights and some cable machines and a treadmill and a bike. The basic room, while not having anything too thrilling, was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Bathroom and shower were very nice. I liked the area a lot, there were a lot of sidewalk cafes and bars that were crowded in the evening. About a 20 minute walk to museum island.

Small-scale high quality for a relaxed stay.

We wanted a quiet stay at a clean, relaxed hotel within walking distance (= 10 minutes) of transport facilities and that is what we got. We found staff welcoming and helpful, to the extent we were offered a different room when our room safe would not function. The hotel is small and does not not aim to provide the full range of facilities found in larger chains (evening meals, lounges etc) but it does have a breakfast bar and is excellent if you aim to be out and about.

It is the roomiest hotel room we've ever stayed in all the European trips we had. It is even bigger than most of the hotels we had stayed in the United States. We like the shower the most, the hot water is very good. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This was a last minute booking for our final city (Berlin) on our Europe tour. The hotel is close to both U-Bohn and S-Bohn stations and easy walking distance to the city centre an most attractions. Although we didn't eat breakfast, it looked wonderful. I would definitely stay here again when in Berlin.

A high quality hotel for the price tag. Had a clean and spacious room for 4 nights, staff were brilliant and it was located close enough to walk to local sights and meetings I had whilst being slightly off the main footpath so it was peaceful at night. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Modest Hotel Close to Hip Area

The Adelante is clean and has everything you would need -- good internet connection, nice beds and showers, etc. The staff is delightful. The breakfast is generous and a good deal for the extra 10 Euros. The neigborhood is full of hip boutiques, art galleries, nice restaurants, and fun bars.

Not close to anything, doesn't look like the photos and in a fairly dodgy looking neighbourhood - strip club on the corner, people shouting on the streets at all hours. Hard beds and tram noises all night. Would not recommend this for anyone, the cheap cost isn't worth it. Booked three nights and only stayed one, I was scared to be there. Don't do it.

Stayed for 4 nights. Friendly, clean and comfortable hotel with everything you need for a city break. Room not huge but a good size with everything you need including very comfortable beds. Perfect location,lots of good restaurants and cafe bars nearby, short walking distance to several sights (Berlin Wall Memorial only 10 mins walk away - a must to visit)plus easy access to all local transport (bus, tram and train). Did not have breakfast ourselves but it did look very nice and was available most of the morning. Would definitely stay here again

We liked your hotel a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. It was difficult to get the air conditioner to stay on until I was told the Windows had to be locked, not just shut to get the air to stay on. Then it worked just fine. It was close to the subway. The breakfast was good

Really enjoyed my first visit in 36 years to Berlin and this hotel was part of the reason. Only 8-10 Euros from the train station by cab, which will save the hassle of the tram and walking. Bring your walking shoes though, because so many sights are nearby.

It would be hard to find any faults!

I arrived with a wonderful greeting from the receptionist. I entered my room and was pleasantly surprised with how large it was, equipped with everything I would need for my eight days there. I had breakfast every morning and it was fabulous, I walked to every section and never took the subway, the location is wonderful. I travel solo as a female and felt perfectly safe at all hours. They say New Yorkers are jaded so trust me when I say book this hotel for a most fabulous time in Berlin! I would not hesitate to come back to this fantastic hotel, it is a gem.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the U-Bahn station. This was my second visit to this small hotel which oozes elegance and class. The good sized room was very smart, with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was of the highest quality. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and the whole of the city is easily accessible via the metro. I was staying here for one of the biggest trade shows that take place in Berlin and prices were a little higher because of that. But having paid only a little less for much inferior accommodation elsewhere last year, it was good to be back at this gem of a hotel. I know where I shall be staying in 2017!

I had a great stay at Hotel Adelante. The gentleman who checked me in was extremely friendly and efficiently showed me all the main sights on the map in relationship to the hotel location to help me get oriented. The other hotel staff were all very friendly as well, spoke great English, and helped me book restaurant reservations as well as the entry to the Reichstag Dome. The room was quite spacious for European standards and it was clean and comfortable. This hotel is not \"in the middle\" of all the noisy touristy things, yet very close to everything, which is perfect for me. The Oranienburger Tor U-bahn station is a short walk and it was not stressful at all with my luggage. The tram at Oranienburger strasse stop is also very close but the tram service was a bit more confusing to me. To the east on Torstrasse, the Rosenthaler U-bahn station is also about a 10min walk. The Museum Is is about a 10min walk away. This neighborhood has some great eats (cheap, mid, as well as Michelin stars) and bars and is actually a very up and coming neighborhood with many trendy and interesting restaurants. I had the hotel breakfast (10 Euro) for one day only and it's a delicious, simple European style breakfast with cheese, meats, bread, some veg and fruits, jam, and honey. Of course, coffee! I had breakfast the other days in the cafes off of Tucholskystrasse- yummy European sandwiches, croissants, and coffee- also reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel in the central Mitte District

I was very pleased with my stay at Hotel Adelante. The hotel was in an excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk from a U-bahn station and a tram stop, so it was an excellent base for my week of sightseeing. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English thankfully!), and looked after my bags before and after my check-in so that I could speed more time exploring the City. The rooms were very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Bluetooth stereo was a nice bonus and meant I could listen to my own tunes in the evening! I paid €10 a day for the breakfast buffet which was well worth it. Highly recommended and will definitely return on my next visit to Berlin.

Very pleased with this hotel.

It was our first time in Berlin. The neighborhood and location were great. Many nice cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries nearby. Front desk staff helpful and friendly.

Extreme disappointment.

On my arrival at the Hotel Adelante I was met by a friendly and apologetic front desk person who told me that the hotel was oversold. He was sorry but Hotel Adelante had booked me into a hotel down the street. He assured me that it, too, was a 4-star hotel. He told me that the Hotel Adelante had covered the difference in cost.

I was left with little choice but to got to the other hotel (Honigmund). It was not the same hotel quality at all. There was no telephone in the room, the small single bed very uncomfortable and wifi was not available save the computer monitor in the lobby.

I have never had this happen with a Hotels.com property before and, I must say, it makes me wonder if I would trust the booking service again.

This was the last night of my trip and it did leave a bad impression.

Best hotel we stayed in in Europe & not overpriced

Room well equiped and very comfortable. Hotel in location with good vibe near supermarket and a short walk to great coffee, bars, restaurants and U-bahn stations (otherwise bike hire options too). Receptionists very pleasant and helpful which made our stay relaxing, and we made use of available services. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Great little boutique hotel

Very friendly staff in what appears to be a family run hotel. Good English spoken.

Great location and the opportunity to rent a bike from the hotel, which is recommended in Berlin, or you can also walk your feet into chalkdust. (Very flat, bicycle friendly city.)

Little touches to the layout of the room means some thought went into the design for travelers, also an ironing board and iron in the closet. Tissues too, which most hotels don't have, so little touches like that. Also there is a nice lounge area downstairs for some quiet reflection or conversation.

Friendly breakfast servers, comfortable clean area, and reasonable selections to start the day.

My only minor quibble is I'm not sure the air-con was working in the room, however it was not really needed.

The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk from multiple subway stations.

I'd have no hesitation returning here or recommending this hotel, it was a pleasurable stay.

A wonderful small hotel in a good location.

The Adelone Hotel is as all hotel of a high standard. The rooms are well appointed, very quiet and comfortable. The location is quite central with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Staff were very pleasnt and extremely helpful.
