We loved our stay at the Gorki Apartments! The location is amazing - great neighbourhood with easy access to public transportation and very walkable. Safe, lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful. Loved that we had doors that we could open to the courtyard for fresh air and ambience. Would definitely return again. When I was checking out, the front desk person asked a housekeeper in German (assuming that I don't understand) to run to my room and check if the hair dryer is there. And the housekeeper steamed to the 3rd floor to make sure that she can check and report it back before I leave. I have never been accused of stealing from a hotel room before. It was so offensive and inappropriate.

I booked the Gorki Apartments for my mother and stepfather and visited them in the rooms (reception and grounds) –Super place for a quiet, luxurious stay in Berlin, about as central as it gets with easy access to tram, U-Bahn, buses and train stations. The staff at reception (Especially, Jonas!!!) was extremely kind and helpful and immediately won over my mom's heart. –Thanks, guys!

We loved it and strongly recommend the experience. Rent Vespas and park them out front.

This was a little gem hidden in an courtyard from the outside world. The apartment was large and provided with everything we needed. (They even supplied a microwave and a Bose soundbar!) The kitchen area was well arranged and supplied with a Nespresso coffee machine (and capsules) as well as a fridge and dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable and with the bathroom having a shower and a bath, we were both happy. One unusual idea was that each room had an entryphone system - so that you could let visitors in yourself - it really was like having your own apartment! The staff were without exception friendly and helpful (with ideas for visits, location of restaurants and a supermarket). If we come to Berlin again, this is the place to stay!

Unusual hotel in the MItte, good transportation and friendly staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Cafe Gorki very good. Only had one wire basket chair that was very uncomfortable. That was a minus along with construction noise early in the am.

Superb location in a vibrant area with lots of local restaurants, food shops and easy access transport with a tram stop right outside and nearby U Bahn to all the major attractions. Very well presented apartment block with superbly appointed rooms that want for nothing. Inside the room feels miles away from the bustle outside. Staff are available 24/7 and are all superb, going out of their way to be informative and make suggestions particularly about exploring the local area. And offering a drink on arrival. The accommodation really made our first trip to Berlin.

The hotel was amazing and the staff (Marleen especially) helped organise a lovely birthday surprise for my girlfriend! All done to perfection.
Only thing stopping it from being 5* for all categories is the bins being emptied from 4am-10am are extremely loud and we were woken on several occasions.

Perfect location in Mitte, if something isn’t in walking distance it’s just a train journey away. Staff are lovely always willing to help with your stay - will give you a whatsapp to message any time of day, for food or a local bar! Would definitely stay at these apartments if I came back. WiFi a little intermittent, but it really doesn’t change my thoughts.

From our check in to departure, we found the team at Gorki very efficent, curteous, friendly and professional. Nothing was a problem and all requests were welcomed with a smile. Our accomodation was light, bright, airy and very comfortable - the sheets were heavenly! Our balcony looked directly onto the street below and we sat out there each afternoon to take in the atmosphere and enjoyed our own private experience. The apartments are located in a great part of town - very close to a huge and interesting array of cafes, restaurants, bars and easily accessible Berlin attractions. The streets felt extremely safe at all times of the night and day.

From the check-in, where we were offered a glass of wine, to the luxurious room, huge bathtub and shower, organic toiletries, well-stocked kitchen and local area, everything about Gorki Apartments was first-class. The front-office staff are incredibly helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The area is great for exploring, with good transport links and a bunch of excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. Can particularly recommend Distrikt Coffee for its wonderful breakfasts and ambience as well as Gorki for rally tasty Russian food. An Amazing Find!
What a find! We were treated like royalty - staff could not have been more wonderful. Room was unique - full of personality at the same time that it had all the amenities. We lacked for nothing. Huge bedroom and bathroom plus hallway area that contained tons of storage. Amazing for anywhere and especially for European hotels! We were thrilled with the area and the Gorki and would not stay anywhere else from now on. Perfect for families as well as individuals/couples. Has cooking facilities.

We loved this place! The room was very nice, the staff were super helpful, the housekeeping was top-notch, and the location was very convenient due to the nearby tram and U-bahn lines. It was a welcome change having an apartment-style room instead of the typical hotel. My only minor complaint would be that we had some issues with spotty internet on the wi-fi, but it did work, more or less.
We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Berlin. Highly recommended.

This apartment complex is perfect for the long term traveller or overnight stay. The room we had, category 3, was huge. Great bathroom, well appointed,kitchenette with dishwasher and hot plate. The rooms were very very clean with groovy toiletries. They staff could not do enough for us, they booked private tours, gave food recommendations and daily walking suggestions. We would not hesitate to recommend to our friends and have every intention of returning.

The staff were very friendly. The apartment is amazing. The only fault I can find, is that there is no air-con, so if it is hot when you visit (like when I visited), then it can get quite uncomfortable. They do provide a Dyson air con unit in the rooms, but it's not very good.

A great experience. It is like having an apartment in a great part of Berlin, with the daily cleanings and services of a hotel. Wonderful room, very kind and supportive staff, great location. My only complaint, if anything, would be the lack of air conditioning. This is common in Germany, and it was unseasonably warm during my stay, so likely not a common issue. Otherwise pretty much perfect.

This is set up as an apart-hotel. The location in Mitte is good. The price is too high. In the same week, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for less money per night. The apartment is advertised as a 1 bedroom. It is not. It is a studio apt. with a large bathroom.
There is no real concierge service, so don't stay here if you want tourist recommendations. When I checked in, I asked about whether there is a nearby laundromat. I was told it is a 15 minute distance and a metro stop away. So, I paid Gorki 15 euro to run a half load of laundry. As it turns out, the information provided by the curt woman at reception was false. There is a do it yourself laundromat within 300 yards of the place. Internet didn't work for days. During my 96 hour stay, I had an internet technician in the room for 3 hours! This is central Berlin and I couldn't get online for days. Totally unacceptable.

I can't fault this hotel. It is in an excellent location, close to trams and trains. Only 15 minutes from the central train station. The apartment itself is lovely with great facilities and all the comforts you need for a restful stay. My favourite thing was the clever position within the restaurant strip with many great options. Despite the close proximity, the apartment was silent at night. The staff were so helpful - the best I have come across in our travels. You won't be disappointed if you choose this hotel for your stay in Berlin.

My husband & I have just returned from 3 nights, staying at The Gorki. The apartments are amazing - beautifully appointed, immaculately clean & stunning location. We stayed in a Catogori 3 which was spacious, located at the rear of the block so nice & quiet. The staff were lovely at check in & helped to answer questions throughout our stay. This is a fantastic place to stay. The building is beautiful and really tastefully decorated. When we arrived, the girls in reception were very welcoming and friendly, including taking time to highlight on a map some of the best things to do and places to go.

Gorki Apartment truly felt like a home away from home! It was one of the best hotels/apartments I've stayed in all time. It's located in the center of the city, anything you need is pretty much walking distance. Although there were bars & shops buzzing around, we didn't hear or get disturbed by any noise while staying inside the apartment. I loved the style and all the amenities it's got: tall ceiling, big windows, extremely cozy bed, bath tub, and the most comfy shower head I've used. The staff was also very helpful in term of helping us check in early and take care of our luggage after we check out. I only spent two days there, and I didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. If you are willing to splurge a little bit for a perfect vacation stay, I highly highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

We stayed at Gorki Apartments for 3 nights over the weekend and we fell in love with the apartment and the area, the staff were lovely, the building was beautiful and we hadn't expected such a nice contrast between the quiet and relaxing vibe of the apartment and the warm and lively vibe of the streets outside and close-by. As for the accommodation, it really does make you feel like you're in a home away from home with consideration to the small details. The shops on Torstrasse are nice to browse with other cool boutiques close on Rosenthaler Strasse and Mulackstrasse. In terms of restaurants, there are a few nice restaurants next door, both left and right of Gorki Apartments, the Korean BBQ go:gogi was a highlight, especially if you're tired from a long day of walking and want a place close to the apartment with delicious food and a nice atmosphere. The apartment is also a short taxi drive away from most landmarks and tourist spots too. Overall, a lovely place to stay and a place we definetly like to stay at again.

If you're going to the tourist spots, the location isn't as convenient but is only about a 15 min walk to Alexanderplatz. I would highly reccomned it for cool young travellers who want a chic & hip (but not unbonoxiously hip!) place to stay. Even the smaller rooms are not small and have amazing design elements from rain showers, to cool tiled bathrooms in the middle of your room.
