The area is in a nice artsy street with lots of bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was clean, stylish and I found it better than staying in a hotel. The M10 and M1 stops are both close and let you access the public trans conveniently.

It was fairly difficult to find. There are no markings on the building and only a small (very small) apartment buzzer labeled amongst a ton of others. Pro-tip: look for the Ola/Hallo sign.

The apartment and the location are the best you can ask for. Easy connectivity to the rest of Berlin and an amazing neighbourhood to be based out of. We loved our stay. Would have been nice to have a cleaning in between given we were there for 6 nights.

Cute apartment in the perfect location

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay! The location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the best restaurants and a 2 minute walk from the tram and a 7 minute walk to the subway.

We stayed in apartment H12 and it was huge. A full kitchen, living room (with tv), bathroom (with washer!) and bedroom (with balcony).

Even though you’re in the thick of it, the apartment is very quiet. There’s a fire station across the street, but you’d have no idea since we never heard it during our stay.

The style / furnishings are cute and eclectic (very shabby chic). There were lots of windows you could open to get fresh air and the bedroom curtains are blackout ones so that was a nice touch.

It almost feels like you’re staying at an Airbnb but with on site help from M-F. We had an issue with wifi right when we checked and Simon resolved it immediately.

The location and facilities were perfect for our needs. The neighborhood is great, with nice places to eat and close to transit. The staff were EXTREMELY helpful when I left a sweater behind. They notified me and sent it on to my next stop.

Apartment living in a wonderful location

We came to Berlin for our daughter's graduation and needed somewhere for 5 nights. Brilliant Apartments was perfect for a long stay. The room is bright, very well laid out, and the kitchen area means you can make breakfast or bring back a meal in the evening from one of the many fantastic places to eat locally. There is an organic supermarket just a few minutes walk away and neighboring Kafe Krone has great brunch options. Exploring the city is easy, with public transport on Kastanienalle. The apartment is within walking distance of the famous flea market, the lovely weekend market at Kollwitzplatz and the Kulturbrauerei with its fantastic food and craft beer stalls. Highly recommended!

A large group of us had a very comfortable stay across two apartments. So comfortable it was difficult to leave on some mornings! Although there were a couple of teething problems on check in (not the fault of Brilliant apartments), Simon and Anna replied to any communication almost instantaneously - even at weekends. Furthermore, a Nintendo switch adaptor, which we left by mistake, was sent back to us in the UK free of charge. A very nice touch indeed! Apartments have been recently renovated and look absolutely superb. My only suggestion would be to separate (door or curtain) the open plan area in Rubin from rest of corridor. Would give a bit more privacy and peace the occupant. Everything you could possibly need was in both apartments. The locally produced sustainable toiletries were brilliant. Some more information on exactly what to recycle and where would have been brilliant - it is different almost everywhere you go. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Trendy Apartment in Great Location

We rented two apartments and enjoyed our stay. Anna was very responsive in our requests and insured we had a great stay. We had a late arrival and were able to obtain access to the apartments after hours. The elevator outside the apartments building was a nice addition, so we didn’t need to carry our bags up four flights of stairs. The location is perfect. Overall a great stay.

The apartment was in a great area - very close to both the U bahn and two separate tram lines. There were very many good places to eat nearby and we felt very safe walking around at night.
The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. We had a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed and good bed linen. The bathroom was very clean, the water hot and good eco shower gel and shampoo were provided. There was an adequate number of towels (2 each) but as usual it would have been nice to have access to a few more. The very large living room/kitchen was quite minimalist. We didn't actually use the cooking facilities but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked and there was a good selection of teas and coffee available. There is an extremely popular cafe on the ground floor of the building. It was a great place to stay and is highly recommended.

Perfect apartment for a family

Wonderfully spacious apartments, especially for those who are travelling for a long time in Europe. These apartments are not cheap. However, laundry is free, and since there is a fully operational and equipped kitchen, it is possible to save money by cooking meals at the apartment. On the whole, this was a perfect place for a family of four or five to stay.

Great Stay in Berlin

Had a great stay and Brilliant Apartments. It's so nice to have a home base when sightseeing in Berlin that feels like a home and not just a hotel room. Lots of space and your own kitchen and refrigerator are a huge plus. The area is great to tour central Berlin sights and everywhere there are restaurants, shops, etc. Everything was very clean! Anna and Simon were very accessible via email or text and provided great assistance a couple of times when we needed. They are very proactive in communicating and that made us feel very comfortable traveling from outside of Germany. They really want to make sure you are all setup on your arrival. I would highly recommend Brilliant Apartments in Berlin.

Great, stylish apartment in a funky area.

This is a beautiful apartment, and very well equipped. There are great restaurants and shops nearby and it's convenient for the centre of Berlin. My only gripe is that it has a shower curtain - for which I have a pathological dislike.

Cute Apartment In Excellent Location

A really nice little apartment located on a street with plenty of cafes and restaurants, a short walk to public transport. Our apartment didn't have lift access (currently in progress so maybe next time!), but apart from that it was great. A bit run-down (could do with some paint touch-ups, and there were clearly areas that hadn't been finished well), and disappointed that there was no microwave. Also, sad that there was no washing machine in the apartment (there is a communal one located on the property). But overall a bright and airy space in a great location.

Great find in a great location

I'm a regular visitor to Berlin but this was my first time staying at Brilliant Apartments.
The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the Mauerpark and close to a wide array of shops and restaurants. The Cafe Krone is wonderful if you don't want to make your own breakfast. Great coffee and food and really friendly staff.
The apartment was clean, nicely designed and very quiet. I only stayed for 2 nights but it would be perfect for a week or so. A very affordable option.

Home in Berlin

stayed here for over a week and really enjoyed it.
The neighborhood reminds me of a east village with a twist of park slope.
The building is on a fun street full of restaurants, bars and shops, with trams and or trains in easy walking distance.
A Grocery store is at the end end of the block.
it looks like they are installing a elevator on the building. The apartment I stayed in was on the 4th floor,, I did not mine the stairs good for the heart.

Lived up to the name

This was a great apartment in a wonderful part of Berlin. It was nearly midnight when we arrived, but we had good clear instructions of how to enter the apartment. The room was clean, well-laid out and comfortable, and quite quiet for such a busy city. Really good cafe underneath, which I believe is owned by the owners of the apartments.

Note there are a number of steps to get up to the apartments if you have trouble with stairs, although it looked like lifts were being installed on some floors.

Great Place in a Great Location

If you want to feel like you are staying in a nice flat in Berlin, but also have the day to day helpfulness of a hotel staff, this is the place for you! Large rooms, comfortable beds, well maintained, and in a wonderful location of Berlin with lots of shops and cafes nearby.

I'm coming back!

There was a little construction ongoing when we were there, but they did not start to early or work too late. Not a big deal in imo. And when it's done, there will be an elevator!!!

Convenient Location

The apartment is close to a lot of decent restaurants near Mauerpark Area. On Sundays there is usually a flea market which is very fun. The apartment itself is nice and modern. One complaint I had was the noise from apartment renovations outside (typically starts around 7am). If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here.

Five Stars All The Way!!!!

Great place to stay for a getaway to see the sights of Berlin. When I arrived I met Simon in the downstairs cafe who carried a 30kg. (Nearly 70lbs.) suitcase up four flights of stairs to save my back! The flats are bigger than any hotel room you would find. They are newly renovated with Italian kitchens, leather sofas and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The U9 is just a ten minute walk away to go to Alexanderplatz and the flats are situated in a serene neighborhood filled with shops, cafes and an all organic grocery store. With a fully equipped kitchen it was fun to shop and eat in for a couple of nights. This place deserves five stars all the way!

Perfect stay!

I fell in love with this area. It's close to the underground transportation and train. It offered plenty of shops and restaurants. Forget staying at a luxury hotel. This place fit all 5 of us, it was comfy and had a full kitchen. Simon was nice and accommodating. Perfect place to stay for a reasonable price! I would recommend and come back!

Lived up to their name

We had a fantastic trip and stay in Berlin at the Brilliant Apartments. They were clean, spacious, warm and very peaceful so we all slept really well. Cafe Krone downstairs was possibly the best cafe we have ever been to and we enjoyed breakfast and coffee everyday their before venturing out. Make sure you try the pancakes! The staff were all really lovely and very helpful as was the owner.

The Locations was excellent with good public transport links and a nice safe area for the family with good restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the italian and also the Tai on the corner.

Overall, hard to beat in any way.

Perfect location for exploring Berlin

My husband and I really enjoyed the Opal room. These apartments are great for a home base to explore Berlin! They are close to every type of transportation you could want to use (tram or U/S Bahn) and even walking. Be sure to stop into the cafe downstairs for some breakfast too. The apartment has easy check-in (down at the cafe) and is fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay comfortable...and way better than staying in a hotel.

Gorgeous Apartments and lovely laid back street

Great neighbourhood lots of nice cafes, restaurants and bars on the street but it still quiet and laid back atmosphere. Great place to stay and Café Krone downstairs is a gorgeous for breakfast. Hiring a bike is a must for Berlin, it is so easy to cycle around and you will see so much more if you do and not get exhausted from walking! We had a wonderful time in Berlin - the people make it. It was great to go sight seeing all day and then comeback to this neighbourhood to relax for the evening and then get a great sleep in the lovely Brilliant apartments :-)

I stayed here with my wife and two teenage daughters. The apartment is exactly what we needed. A nice location with plenty nearby restaurants. Easy access to the U Bahn and the rest of Berlin. Not too crowded or noisy. The apartment was spacious and had the basic amenities.

Brilliant location

We had an amazing stay in Brilliant apartments. The flat was bright, modern, spacious with comfortable furnitures and it has all the facilities that you need. The location in lovely Prenzlauer Berg is perfect just 20 metres from where the wall just to be located and in the midst of an area with good shopping, cafes and restaurants. I will in particular recommend the brand new natural wine store just below the flat.

Loistava kämppä! Etukäteen huoletti hiukan, kun matkamme osui Keski-Euroopan hirmuhelteiden ajalle, eikä asunnossa ollut ilmastointia, mutta ulkolämpötiloihin (ylimmillään +38) nähden sisälämpötilat pysyivät inhimillisinä. Tuuletin ajoi asiansa ja yöllä saattoi pitää ikkunat auki, koska asunnot olivat sisäpihan puolella eikä kadun meteli kuulunut ollenkaan. Viihtyisä asunto, erinomainen sijainti.

Lejlighederne var store, hyggeligt indrettede og fungerede rigtig godt. Uforstyrrede da de ligger i baggården uden dog at være mørke. Gården er også fin i sig selv.
God service fra hotellet. i forhold til det praktisk med adgang til nøgle, da vi ankom uden for kontorets åbningstid. Alt fungerede som det skulle og vi opholdt meget i lejligheden i de tre overnatning vi var det.

El apartamento está bastante nuevo y limpio, todo muy correcto en ese aspecto, por lo contrario la foto que se ve sobre la fachada del edificio no corresponde con el edificio donde está situada la vivienda, la entrada está en un patio interior, el edificio es antiquísimo y todo el patio interior está completamente levantado, tuvimos que pasar entre pallet y tablones de obra ( 20/25 metros) para no caer en el barro con muy poca luz, en el patio incluía máquina excavadora, maquinaria de construcción etc etc..
Las escaleras para subir a la vivienda y todo el interior del edificio eran feo viejo y poca luz,
Sin embargo el apartamento limpio, acogedor y muy buena temperatura.
Otra cosa que hechamos en falta fue que el propietario no ha aparecido ni se presento en ningún momento, algunos mail y poco mas,

Rummelig og flot lejlighed med skøn belligenhed

Vi boede i en rummelig lejlighed på 4 sal. Lejligheden var i god stand med nyt køkken og bad. Der var alt hvad man skulle bruge, og god plads i lejligheden.
Anna som står for udlejningen var meget behjælpelig, og svarede hurtigt på mine mange spørgsmål før afrejse :)
Belligenheden er desuden helt i top.

Un appartement très spacieux et bien décoré dans un quartier très vivant. L'appartement donne sur une cour intérieure et est donc très calme. Très bien équipé. Idéal pour un séjour pour amoureux de Berlin ou pour un premier séjour dans un des quartiers les plus attachants de Berlin.

Veldig fin leilighet innrettet i moderne stil. Rommelig. 5. etasje uten heis. ikke noe problem om du er i normal kondisjon. Prenzlauer Berg vest er ikke så ferdig utveklet som ovre mot Kollwitzstraße men det har sin egen sjarm.

Appartamento accogliente, spazioso e pulito. Situato in ottima posizione. L'unico appunto è che, forse, si dovrebbero avvisare i clienti che lo stabile nel quale si trovano gli appartamenti è attualmente in completa ristrutturazione; ci siamo trovati in un vero e proprio cantiere di lavoro tra detriti e calcinacci.
