A clean room which was cleaned daily. It had everything I needed (except for a kettle, but for the price I really can't complain). Its in a great location, a tram stop right outside, a U Bahn station 10 mins walk away and a bus stop not far either. I would definitely recommend to others and stay here again!

All great, except one tiny detail that can get overlooked sometimes. I spotted two long strands of hair on my pillow. All clean otherwise. I’m well aware of the amount of work you put to maintain your premises so this is not negative feedback. This is the only thing I would recommend to improve.

Perfect for solo travellers

Really nice hotel. Lovely view of the Fernsehturm from my room. Really comfy bed (which is also very big) and good air conditioning. a great range of breakfast options. Perfect location for me to get to all the places I wanted to visit. Had a great time!

This was a OK hotel with a view of Berlin. The location was good and the room was comfortable. There was a handy convenience store near the lobby where you could buy snacks and things. It is a 15 minute walk to the main square and if you walk the other direction, there are a number of restaurants to visit

The room is small but fine for one person, superclean, and modern. The bathroom is small but not too small. The location is great. It's probably not in Prenzlauer, which seems to be across the street. The restaurants on Kollwitzstrass are a short walk, the ones on Kastanienallee are a bit of a hike. Alexanderplatz is on a tram line, so the hotel is easy to get too.

We had a great stay at Ibis Berlin Mitte. We booked a room with two twin beds. Nothing fancy but the price was excellent. The room was small compared to Western sizing but typical for Europe. The location is one of its strongest points. It is centrally located with easy access to trams and trains and just a short ride from the airport. Alexanderplatz is right down the street or one tram stop away. Grocery stores, snacks, and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

That said, the immediate neighborhood around the hotel wasn’t very exciting. Seemed to be mostly residential and commercial. You could seek and find things but usually 10-15 minutes walk. Most of the energy and things to do are closer to Alexanderplatz so if you want to be in the thick of bars and noise, this isn't the place for you.

Besides the location, the second-best thing was how quiet the hotel was. We barely heard any noise from neighboring rooms. The only sound we noticed, and this is not the hotel’s fault, was other guests letting their doors swing shut, which can be loud in any hotel before reserving. Maybe other rooms are different.

We didn’t try the breakfast, so I can’t speak to that, but the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The only three negatives: 1. the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on yet, so our room was uncomfortably hot for the first couple days. Apparently, the building switches between heating or air conditioning for the entire building depending on the season. 2. the

The hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained. However there is an issue with the regulation of water temperature when you shower, showers don’t appear to have a thermostat and therefore the temperature fluctuates between boiling hot, to freezing cold a number of times whilst taking a 5 min shower. I tolerated this for 5 days in different rooms. I moved to a different room, as I was put in a street facing adjoining room. Adjoining rooms are EXTREMELY noisy. It doesn’t matter if you booked months prior and requested a quiet room, it’s allocated on the day, so the earlier you check in the more options you might have. I found all but one receptionist polite and helpful, one of the receptionists was consistently cold, abrupt and unhelpful, borderline rude. Also the breakfast is something like 17 euros per day, which is expensive. There are a lot of nice cafes in the area, I get why people run to the petrol station out front for food now!

Fantastic from start to finish. We had a unique room styled by one of the staff. There was a guest book, part if the wall you could use felt tip and a postcard wall in the bathroom.
Never stayed in such a room before but we loved it.

The staff service was exceptional. When a large, loud group checked in to their rooms and were very disruptive, staff moved my party to a new floor very quickly. I liked the vibe, the availability of refreshments and prompt courteous front desk staff. I liked being next door to the gas station/convenience store especially for our rental car. It’s As Good as It Comes.

In light of the Covid restrictions everything was adapted the suit.
Reception staff, the cleaners and restaurant staff all friendly and helpful regardless of us speaking little German and their English. We all got by as they say.
On arrival the receptionist had sorted a room, mentioned we had stayed a few years ago in a room with a view of Alexanderplatz. Within minutes she changed it to give us a room with a view. All up a pretty good stay. A big thanks to you all.

We chose this hotel primarily because it had reasonably priced car parking underneath (entrance just around the corner past the petrol station). There are 2 entrances and we chose the left one, which had maybe 30-40 spaces. Don't know about the other side. Price was just €10 for 24 hours.

Staff at the desk were great, very helpful and efficient. The whole place well maintained and clean.

About 5 mins walk puts you in Alexanderplatz so it's really convenient too.

Only niggles were only one pillow each and, although there was a kettle, no tea, coffee, mugs etc. Suspect this is a Covid related policy though.

Would recommend and use again!

Great location and excellent value

Good location just a few minutes from Alexanderplatz and excellent value - everything was of a standard you’d expect for this type of hotel. Coffee making facility would be a plus but they’re not common on the Continent!

It's ok. I have two issues. They checked in someone else on my reservation and I had to wait to fix problem. I got a free beer and upgrade room with nice view. Second, my bathtub wouldn't drain. They fixed the problem. Everything after that was all good.

EXCELLENT STAY

Everybody we dealt was was very helpful and friendly. We were on the 7th floor which was so quiet and I slept the best I have done for ages.
Our only complaint was a lady receptionist who we requested to book a taxi to take us to the airport advised the cost would be about 30 euros which turned out just under 50 and the driver took us the long route round, my husband followed it on his phone.
Anyway we both loved Berlin.

It’s a basic no frills hotel. I found it was clean and well maintained. It’s only a 15min walk from Alexanderplatz making it a very good location for access to S, U and DB rail. Close to food and shopping centres. Fairly central to most of Berlins attractions. My only issue was the price point of the breakfast bar located in the hotels 1st floor. 12 euro per person for a glorified continental breakfast and cold meat sandwich bar was a bit expensive. An a la carte option would have been preferred.

A Grand View

Two night so my wife and I could catch some sights. Turned out the hotel suited as it was a short stroll to Alexandreplatz.The view from our window was stunning.

Great place to stay.

Everything was great, exactly what you would expect from a hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and decorated nicely. Lots of leaflets in the lobby incase you'd like to know more about things to do in the area. Within walking distance of Alexanderplatz and close to public transport too.
The hotel is right next to a main road so there is a lot of traffic noise but it is to be expected when staying in a city centre.

Good place to stay

Good location near tram stop. Quiet enough. Hotel reception were really good at check in and checkout. Only dropped a star as was very ill in the night, my partner asked the night reception guy to call the pharmacy to see if they had my medication. He wasn't happy to make a 30 second call when we don't speak good German, but begrudgingly did it.

Good location and very nice rooms, modern and clean, my only grumble as British person is that I really missed having a kettle in the room as I like my tea. Also can we have breakfast teabags in the restaurant, I like a nice strong cuppa in the morning!
