The staff here is amazing, very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. There are also plenty of electrical outlets throughout the room and bathroom, which I really appreciate. The breakfast is extensive, something for everyone. And it’s a great location too. Steps away from a tram that will take you to Alexanderplatz where you can catch a train or tram almost anywhere.

Professional elegance

Breakfast was spectacular, the coffee was of the best quality, and we were able to bring up cappuccino to have in the room. The staff were uniformly helpful, professional, and kind. The internet access was easy but a bit insecure at times. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. The area itself is well-appointed with restaurants, cafes, and bars. Access to the city center was even walkable if you are up to it. The garden was a quiet oasis and generally the place was very comfortable

Excellent hotel for a visit to Berlin, large, quiet rooms with antiques and art throughout the building. Outstanding breakfast array, stylish bar from 6 p.m. Tram stop only 100 metres away, just a few minutes from major Alexanderplatz transit station with lines to everywhere in Berlin. Located in the very civilized Prenzlauer district, many cafes and eating options, great for walking. Highly recommended.

Over-all my stay was good, but there were a few things that kept the experience from being outstanding. In no particular order, my room was tiny. I knew I was booking a small room; but this was so small, it really shouldn't be classified as a \"room\"! The water in the shower only got barely hot. It constantly felt as if the hot water might run out at any minute. There was only a duvet on the bed: no sheet, so one was either too hot or too cold. The gym which is advertised to be right around the corner is numerous blocks away. Breakfast was great, but I thought it came with the hotel. I was charged 18 euros per day for that. The bar was very nice, but I was always the only one there. And if you're looking forward to communing with people from other countries, this isn't the place for you. Most guests are American, because Rick Steves apparently has listed this as a good place to stay.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and great location. We checked in with Kanut at the desk - he gave us great suggestion for your guide (Get Your Guide) and museums (we made it to the Hamburger Banhof and the Berlinische Galeries - both awesome). The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The area around the hotel is beautiful and the garden at the back is a wonderful place to relax.

The front desk would not let us change our room when we were unhappy with its condition. Though it was stated that breakfast was included, they said it was only one breakfast for our room and charged us one extra €35/day plus tax. The staff was not at all flexible. I would have booked a different hotel had this been disclosed.

Myer’s hotel is such a beautiful hotel that has class AND character. It is located in a very quiet area but not far from action. The staff was helpful and all spoke great English. The breakfast buffet was decadent and such a lovely way to start the day.

Great spot for Berlin travel!

The hotel is a great location with east walking to the tram and many key spots in Berlin. They have a new/updated bar and we had a great time chatting with the bartenders on our first night, wish we remembered their names! My only complaint was the AC did not keep up. Seemed it was somehow preset to go into sleep mode and night and it was pretty warm when we were there. We tried everything and even asked the front desk if we were doing something wrong and the advice was to open the window. Probably more of a problem due to hot flashes too 😆

We loved everything about Myer’s hotel! We stayed two nights. The street is is in is beautiful. The area is safe and we ate at multiple restaurants we enjoyed. The front desk staff were very helpful and got us in one of our rooms early when we arrived early. The rooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable. Everything was immaculate. I loved the Old World Charm of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful especially the Nutella croissants and the Marzipan croissants. The breakfast selections were endless. The reception staff was friendly and very professional. The location was excellent for easy tram access to wherever you wanted to go. Beautiful and charming air conditioned hotel and very convenient location. I loved staying in Prentzlauerberg.

We chose the Myers Hotel because of its location. At first we were taken aback because the hotel was in a residential neighborhood with attractive apartment buildings all around. The Myers is a converted apartment building as well. Our room at first looked old but then we realized it was renovated to look as a 19th century Victorian parlor might look. We had a sitting room off the bedroom. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. We even met the building owner, Wolfgang Myers and he explained the renovations and themes of each room. The neighborhood was a blast with many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The neighborhood, Prenzlauer Berg reminded us of the Upper West Side of NYC. All in all, a great three nights in Berlin at The Myers.

Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Berlin. Excellent location, convenient to transportation in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of choices to eat within walking distance. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was outstanding. Each tool is individually decorated, the beds are super comfortable and the bathroom has the best Rain shower head combo system ever! The garden and courtyard are lovely and there is a spa on site. We loved our stay.

Great location with easy access to M2 Tram stop. Quiet street. Clean. Phenomenal breakfast buffet.

WiFi was down for three of the five days we were at hotel. Throughout the day and night, water noises in plumbing could be noticeably heard in room 29. Not horrible, but sometimes annoying, especially in the middle of the night.

Breakfast room staff and some of the front desk staff were excellent. Helpful and courteous. Another set of front desk of staff was surly and less than gracious.

Beautiful oasis

This hotel offers a beautiful oasis in busy Berlin. Ideally positioned near good transport links, 5 mins from Alex; Myer's hotel was not only very comfortable inside and out but had an excellent staff to support it. My husband and I were made very welcome, the breakfast was excellent and the surroundings both beautiful and thoughtful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Berlin who wants a peaceful and comfortable nights sleep.

Quirky boutique, that I’d totally recommend!

I’ve travelled a lot in my lifetime for work, but this hands down is the most sound proofed hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The windows were quadruple glazed and you didn’t here a thing. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Also the gents on the front desk were super inviting upon arrival and made my brief stay an absolutely please.

The Myers Hotel is located in a beautiful tree lined residential area with easy access to the tram, subway, and local restaurants, several of which are very good. The hotel has an old world feel with an elegant lobby and lovely breakfast areas, including a sky lit room. Our room was upgraded to an exceptionally comfortable suite overlooking the courtyard. The desk clerks were helpful with directions, and the one at night was very cordial and made good restaurant recommendations. The breakfast staff was efficient and attentive. Of all the hotels we stayed at on our 3 week trip, this was our favorite; and we would love to come back.

What I did like is the individuality of the hotel, that it was not a chain. It had its own old world charm and uniqueness. The breakfast buffet was incredible, being able to sample new and traditional items. The room was decorated in a by-gone era, but fully modernized with the lights, plug-ins, bathroom shower, etc. Room was a nice size with a full size desk. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants and to the tram system. We used the public transport system extensively during our stay, purchasing day passes at the hotel, and found it very easy to navigate and reaching to all parts of the city we wished to see. Would highly recommend Myer's!

Although the location was only a few stops from central Berlin by underground, the surrounding district was quite spartan and we had to walk about half mile to find some restaurants

All in all it was a good stay but I don't understand why this hotel has such high reviews. Common areas and rooms need an update. There is carpet everywhere and you can smell it. Breakfast is pretty good and the bed is comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet but there are bars and restaurants nearby. I can see people enjoying this place in the summer because of the outdoor space.

Great location. Quiet, close to restaurants and two public transportation stops. Room was clean. Bathroom spacious. Only draw back is the poorly designed bath tub and shower, water everywhere and small shower and the bathtub is huge but you can't lounge comfortably.... But small details.

This is a very artistic hotel, with beautiful artwork displayed everywhere. We really enjoyed that. It is in a very quiet neighborhood with trees and peacefulness. But also, very near a subway and tram lines. Their breakfast is just wonderful. Something for everyone. I must admit, I had like three breakfasts in one, because the selection is so good. Excellent coffee and staff takes very good care of you. The room was very quiet and bohemian in style; old world charm, overlooking the lovely back garden. They have bikes and umbrellas for use, as well as a brand new spa with efficient saunas and other amenities.

Nice hotel.nicest in the area.quiet.great German tapas bar next door.the comfort room is adequate but the shower was quite small and only 2 english TV channels. Tram stop right outside. Only 2 stops to town centre.spa in the basement is great but under used/promoted.breakfast has many choices but plates small (saucer size) so go up twice.would definitely go back.

Quiet street less than five minutes walk from the U2 to metro line. My garden-side suite was comfortable except that the Tiffany style light fixtures meant the room was quite dark. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Breakfast staff we’re uniformly cheerful; reception staff less reliably so. There’s a grocery store 1.5 blocks down Strassburgerstr.

The Myer was as good as promised, and in the hot summer, air-conditioned which is not so common in Berlin. We had a suite and it was beautifully decorated. The location is excellent, close to U-bahn, an attractive park, and lots of good eating places. The breakfast was excellent with a huge range of foods and an outdoor garden setting. We may never be able to go back to an ordinary hotel room.!

Nice hotel with lovely breakfast buffet. It is two blocks to the entrance of the old city, with large plazas and lots of outdoor cafes with umbrellas. It is also close to tram stops when venturing further out. We took the tram to the Divine Mercy Sanctuary, and that was the name of the tram stop...very easy. it is a 15-20 minute walk to the train station, which is beautiful and built with a three story mall over it. Everything here from gricery stores to clothing, cafes and fast food.our room had a balcony which us allowed to see the street, but street noise was not loud.

What an absolute gem. Room was amazing and breakfast was absolutely brilliant. We sat outside in the garden area every morning and relaxed with a great selection of food and drinks. Great location and transport to and from the city was so easy with day tickets from reception and then validate on tram, bus, trains whichever you like. There are some great restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel which were great. Bavarian Tapas in particular. Excellent service and food.
The staff were superb and even when our whirlpool bath wasn't working it was sorted out before we returned and the house technician left us a little bar of chocolate with a lovely note. We were blown away by everything.
We will definitely be returning to Berlin and the Myer's Hotel.

Charming Hotel located well located

Charming Hotel, well located in a quieter area with reastaurants and cafes nearby. The room was excellent and the breakfast good. Hotel staff where very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. City was accessible with Tram and Underground stops either end of the street.

Excellent!

We travel a lot and this hotel ranks as one of our favourites. Our first visit to Berlin and when we return we know where to stay. You feel very well looked after. Staff are really helpful, bedroom very comfortable and quiet and the breakfast is wonderful. Transport links are close and easy to use, tickets can be bought at the hotel. Great places to eat nearby. Myers Hotel - please keep doing what you are doing, we will be back!
