This hotel is in the middle of everything, short walk anywhere. To the TV tower or to the Gate. The Uban is just steps away. Turkish Pizza and drink around the corner. There is a Grocery store next door the REWE.

Room was comfortable. We did have a leak in the bathroom sink but this was resolved.
Breakfast was a great selection of hot food and continental breakfast, really pleased with that.
Easy to get around Berlin, so particularly perfect if you're in town for not too long and need to cram lots in!

The pillows on the bed were way too thin and almost completely flat offering no head and neck support at all. This needs addressing, especially for somebody with a neck problem like myself. Staff would only give two extra towels to place underneath the pillows for added support. No more than two. The issue should not be with the towels but should be with the quality and standard of the pillows.

Great breakfast! This is a clean, modern property, and very well-maintained; it covers all the basics at a reasonable price, punching well above its weight. Beds and linens were great, easy internet access. The staff was wonderful. This hotel is an excellent base from which to see many Berlin monuments, many of which are walkable from the hotel, and the Naturkundemuseum U-Bahn station was less than a block away—The Berlin Hbf (main station) is about a 15 min walk. Super convenient. I would, without a doubt stay again!

Comfortable stay in Berlin

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip around Europe. The hotel was easy walking distance from the station and the room was comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed and the location was ideal for the plans we had in Berlin. There is a tram stop outside and a metro station nearby for trips further afield. I booked this hotel as they offered laundry facilities, however these are quite pricy and there is a laundrette round the corner which we used instead. We would stay here again if we were to visit Berlin again.

Soundproofing Could be Better

I would have rated H+ with 5 stars if it were not for the sound outside my street facing room, which unfortunately impacted my sleep quality. The hotel’s central location also means it is on both a main tram line and Ubahn route, which inherently generates noise.
Aside from the sound, the breakfast buffet was very good. Service and front desk staff were polite and helpful. The room had a coffee/tea maker set-up, which I always appreciate. Location was ideal for me, as it was a quick tram ride to the Hbf, and the Ubahn station was a half block away. I’ve stayed at other H+ locations and am overall a fan of this brand. I would stay here again if I could get an interior room instead.

We really enjoyed our stay here.

Check-in was easy and the people at reception spoke English which was very helpful to us.

Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. The bar fridge was pleasantly tall for bigger bottles. Only down side was that the temperature controls in room didn't work very well so it was often hot. We did open the windows which helped at night time.

The buffet included with the room was a real highlight. They had a wonderful selection of warm and cold food. Staff were really attentive with clearing plates and making sure food levels stayed stocked.

Hotel was nicely located to public transport. We caught the train/tram from the central station with suitcases with no issues. There is a grocery store right next door which was convenient for picking up snacks and drinks.

Scammed for an extra night

Only 2 stars because the room was clean and adequate to stay in, and the breakfast was delightful and free. The staff seemed friendly, but if you’re visiting and do not speak German, there may be a language barrier because I was charged an extra night. I kept explaining to the people and they kept saying I need to contact Hotels.com, which I did multiple times on my stay and still no reconciliation. I paid what I needed to pay, but it is unfair to someone who paid to stay at your hotel to be on the phone multiple days just to try and get things fixed and they can’t even help you! They said they “fixed it” but when I was given a receipt, I was charged the basically the same amount and one of the nights was 399€…. It made no sense. The front desk clerk was using a calculator as if he was trying to make the price the same but make it 1 less day… Each night said the check out date instead of the date of each night I stayed, as if he just edit it on that day. Very fishy and untrustworthy. I feel scammed. Maybe try somewhere else if you’re planning a stay in Berlin.

Good located hotel

Comfortable hotel with good location in Mitte, very close to tram/bus/U stations with many restaurants/bars options in short walking distance. Breakfast is very good and the service as well.
We stayed in larger rooms (business) that were quiet (turning to the back of the building). Rooms, shower and toilette are clean, but very new.
Large supermarket is next door which is very convenient, especially while travelling with kids

In walking distance of all the main sites in Berlin. Spacious room with good wifi and tea/ coffee facilities. Air con works but is a bit noisy. Breakfast has lots of options and the food is tasty. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Only reason I dropped a star was the attempt to charge me extra at the end of my stay for having a quiet room. All was sorted out with no extra charge but not the best way to end what had been a lovely holiday.

It was extremely hot in the room-like a sauna. When asked the receptionist for help, I was told that the sun hits that side of the building and that’s why it’s so hot. I was given another room that was better on the other side of the building. Be aware that there are rooms that are extremely hot and uncomfortable.
