limited dining but if you like fast food Doner restaurants you will be well served, along with convenience markets. close to the adjacent medical centers which is most likely the reason for people staying there. Clean room and friendly staff. Easy to get to transportation for the city center and tourist locations but is quite a distance.

The property was a little disappointing for a Ramada property the room stunk of cigarette smoke and Queen bed had only Double bed linen in place insufficient for 2 sleeping in the same bed. The restaurant food service slow and food was cold. Also no. Swimming pool or whirlpool available . The property is close to plenty of street food dining options and Coffee shops

I would never stay at this hotel. Very dishonest staff. On June 10 2023, I paid 1500 turkish lira for next day airport shuttle. I purchased it because staff said finding taxi at 4am in the morning may be difficult. Staff also said regular taxi ride would cost at least 600-700 turkish lira. Next day airport shuttle was 30 mins late; staff called a taxi around the corner instead (which arrived in 2 mins). Hotel staff did not want to reimburse me for the difference and wanted to pay for the taxi. So I simply paid 1500 lira for a taxi ride, which actually costed 400 lira (not 700). Very dishonest, very unprofessional. They simply stole my money.

The hotel is located in a college area VERY far from any tourists attractions or shopping areas. Restaurants and cafes are the ONLY available shops that can be reached by walking. Reaching city center or main tourist areas needs at least 40 minutes by car and sometimes much more during rush hours.
The room was ok but the amenities are very cheap. They give two small size bottles of water for a room of two people. They provided the smallest and sealed but nearly empty box of tissues ever after two days of my stay and AFTER I requested that. The tissues were cheap torn (check photos).
The breakfast menu was nice and they have good varieties.
The lobby is small and not suitable to sit there at all.
This hotel does not come to the level of Ramada hotels chain reputation.
Over all, I will not stay there next time, for sure!

A pleasant relaxed place to stay

Location is in the university area, so lots of students and cheap places to eat. The Aqua shopping mall is 10 minute drive. The airport is an hours drive from the hotel. It is not an airport hotel.
However it is very nice place to stay, comfortable and quiet.

There was no ironing facility in the room as the previous Ramada I stay in.
Breakfast was good but staff did not speak much English.
Reception staff spoke English and were helpful.
I did get ripped off by a taxi obtained from the hotel. They need to ensure customers are protected.

No more things to say. Just terrible. Dirty Dirty and dirty. And probably you will meet with some surprise such as dog or cat flece in bathroom which i had one. So please double check your closet, bathroom and other things. Also all things in room looks very old.

I was looking for a quick one night layover around Istanbul airport. The Hotel.com list this Ramada as airport hotel, the hotel name said airport hotel, and it has airport shuttle, so what could go wrong? Was I incredibly naive! This hotel is on the other side of Istanbul, if any farther from the airport it'll be in the ocean. The hotel staff look incredulous when I ask about airport shuttle. I have travel 15 countries in the last 3 years and never felt so stupid.

Lovely, very clean, comfortable room with nice decor. Very pleasant staff and nice location with good eats (hotel has a restaurant open late!) and it`s in town.

My only problem was that is quite a distance from the airport in operation unlike the name. Quite a distance.

After booking and paying for this hotel six months in advanced, during check-in process they were telling that my reservation was never paid for. Even after I showed them my receipt of being paid in full and the charge on my credit card statement, they kept me at the reception for about 45 minutes and insisted on charging me again. After going back and forth they found my payment. The receptionist was very rude and the manager never came out to speak to us. In addition, the hotel is very far from the new airport, so now they have no shuttle bus service. This info needs to be updated on the hotels.com website. Taxi to hotel is between $30-$40. It is also far from the tourist attraction area. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Sultanamet by public transportation. I will not stay at this hotel ever again.

The hotel is very clean and modern. This hotel, however, is nowhere near the new airport and should probably not have \"Airport\" in the name. When we booked the room, we specifically chose this hotel because it said it had a free shuttle to and from the airport. When we arrived in Istanbul, we were very disappointed to find out this wasn't the case anymore because of the new airport. It would have been nice to have received an email letting us know that there was no more shuttle, so we could have been prepared and figured out alternate travel options. Instead, we had to take a taxi and we were way overcharged! When we finally arrived at the hotel, we inquired about the shuttle and the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful, basically, telling us it was our problem and they weren't going to anything to help us. Needless to say, that made our stay very disappointing and we will think twice before ever staying at a Ramada again.

Amenities and staff are nice. However, they need to fix their Expedia information about the airport shuttle. It does not run on Sunday’s and come very infrequently. You’d have to dig through the photos to even find that information. This is not mentioned at all in the section that gives the shuttle information, only that it runs from 6am-11pm. I was waiting at the airport for hours and had to take a taxi (which very rarely accept card, and are very reluctant to take you if you don’t have cash). Do not come here if you are on a layover and need a place to crash. There are plenty of other hotels with better shuttle service.

First of all, the distance between the Hotel and the airport is not accurate.
be awar of that. There are two Ramada hotels, the other one much closer to the airport.
I learned that the owner of this hotel was a franchisee, so I couldnt see the Ramada hotel's standard there. Overall it had a 3 star hotel standard, adjust your expectation after that fact.

Great stay-close to airport!

The stay was great. I’d never been to this hotel and upon check-in, received a free upgraded room. The hotel clerk was very pleasant and helpful as I had just flown 13 hours non-stop and was very tired. He informed me of room service options or dining at The North Shield Bar and Pub restaurant on the property and provided a discount coupon. Unfortunately, I slept through dinner but did have breakfast. My only complaint regarding breakfast was the flatware was dirty at my table (all four place settings) and at the table behind me I had to look at 2 more place settings of flatware to find a clean knife and fork. Bits of food were dried on each and between the tines of the forks. Outside of this, I had a perfectly relaxing and restful stay and would return again upon my next layover in Istanbul.

Great hotel, with clean, spacious rooms. Front desk staff are very professional. When I told them I would miss breakfast since I would be leaving very early in the morning for the airport, they immediately offered to pack me some food to take with me. Restaurant has good, and not pricey food, and the staff is superb as well. It is not as close to the airport as I thought, but still 10-15 minutes, which is not bad. Beware that guests internet activities are recorded if you use the hotel's WiFi -- this is a national policy, so it is not the hotel's fault.

Definitely NOT a 4 star. The AC didn’t work properly, they didn’t have proper sheets and blankets. I was downgraded to a room and was reimbursed 30 Turkish Lira for it. The hotel shuttle does NOT work on Sundays, which is NOT clear on the site (that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel, since I hare dealing with taxis in Ist). I am very disappointed.

We stayed at this hotel cuz we had a long transatlantic flight the other day and I’m glad I chose this one. The staff are extremely friendly and very responsive, the location is perfect, 10 minutes drive to the airport without traffic and there are lots of cafes and restaurants in the area. I stayed at Ramada along with my wife during my recent trip to Turkey & we had a wonderful experience. The first reason was the short distance from the airport, it took us 12 min to get from the airport to the hotel via the hotel complimentary shuttle, which was the second reason. The metro bus station is only 5 min away by walk so we didn't have to take any cabs or taxies as the metro bus runs till 1:00am. Overall, the experience was wonderful & we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Turkey.

Miss my flight with Turkish Airline due to traffic getting to the Airport. Turkish airline cancelled all my connecting flights also. There were no refund and I had to book a complete new booking. This complete new booking for one way costed more that I paid for the round trip.

Since I had to book a whole new booking, I did not go to Istanbul and did not need the room. The hotel as well as Expedia said that I could not cancel the booking.

I think that due to the circumstances, they should have allowed it.

My room was small but clean and comfortable. Room has everything and good internet. Busy street due to university nearby. You can find a lot of restaurants around. Very good breakfast. Shuttle to airport runs from 6am and every 2 hrs (6am - 8am - 10am and so on)

I liked the hotel because of the close distance to the airport, free excellent buffet breakfast, and many close dinner locations. It is in the heart of a university, close dinning experiences were packed with students. I would stay at the Ramada again.
