I dont like that they omitted the fact that they charge 35 dollar a day pet fee
That wasn’t clear at the time of the reservation online and they charged me 70 dollars later on

This was a bad experience for me 35 dollars a day is a lot of cash for a pet fee and they were not transparent on that will not be staying there eny more
It honestly felt like a shake down when the guy at the counter saw my dog he sprung this fee on me like he had a pretense to find something to charge me for . Nowear did i see a sign online or on the premises that they charged for a pet let alone 35 a day
I could have stayed at a better place for 85 dollars a night plus a pet fee or 35 dollars a night
Dishonest practices
At best its just irresponsible to not state the pet fee clearly on the website or at the front desk u

Upon checking into the hotel, we drove around to find our room. The room was on the second floor so we decided to just use the stairs. Upon exiting the stairwell there was a bag of trash lying on the floor and pizza boxes on top of the trash can. This was understandable as it was 4:00 pm. We entered our room and it had an odor. Noticed that the tv rotating base was mounted and broken so that the tv leaned backward. Then I grabbed the remote to the tv to see if the tv even worked. There was not a back on the remote. Tried to use the remote to turn on the tv to no avail. Finally used the power button on the tv itself to turn it on. After a few seconds, Family Feud popped up on the tv and the channel could not be changed. Called the front desk to inform them about the tv and the remote. They told me that they would try to come check it if they found time to. In the meantime, noticed that there was makeup on one of the pillows. Pulled back the sheets to inspect them and they did appear to be clean. We had a graduation to go to so we left to attend. After the graduation ceremony, we went to Walmart and purchased Lysol. Entered the room and sprayed everything to disinfect and help make the smell not so noticeable. Pulled sheets off and sprayed everything, including the bathroom. As I was spraying the bathroom, I noticed a few small insects around the tub and sprayed them directly. Returning later, the smell was better. Would never stay here again.

The rooms on the extended side are disgusting. Toilets with poop left in them, roaches, stains everywhere, gross ac units, people tried to get into our room at 10pm, our door latch didn’t work, ac stopped working, hostile loiters in the lobby, key cards stopped working at 11pm, I could go on. The only consolation was the staff was pretty accommodating and we were able to switch rooms twice (but all were gross). We were able to get a refund for the night we didn’t stay which was nice (it was non refundable)

I’m sad because we’ve stayed here 3 times prior and have never had issues till now. When we arrived the guy gave us one key (room 177) and didn’t give us directions on where to go so we assumed we were on the 1st floor of the main building. After wondering around with no luck I asked the front desk guy for directions on where to go. He didn’t hear me at first because he was on his phone, but after I repeated myself he directed us to the other building. Our room smelled like mildew, there was a nerd gummy cluster stuck in the peep hole, the bed frame seemed broken because the bed was unusually low to the ground, and there was a slimy substance on our comforter. The custodian was very nice and got us a new comforter!

Pool is beautiful, love the balconies, excellent staff, large indoor jacuzzi. If you have any issues the manager Samantha will definitely make sure you’re well taken care of. Great for when you want a break from the “chain hotels” quiet, and there is also a seperate extended stay with ovens, full size fridge, etc.

I understand the building is old and it was fine, but when we requested two room to be near one another and not on different floor they should at least provide a room that was vacuumed, either remove the broken phone or fix it, and fix the draining faucet in the tub. This faucet was not dripping it was draining water like a stream. The ladies who checked us in were very rude because there told us that they did not see that we rented multiple room, because their printouts didn't tell them even though they were the same name. Not a good stay for people who rent hotels through this third party app. We only stayed one night but not a good one.
In the second room, My kids found hair under their sheets.

We left before actually staying the night. We waited forever to even check in because no one was there initially and there was a long line, even though it was pretty later at night. When we did finally check in and get to our room we were so exhausted from travel and could have slept ALMOST anywhere. But I was truly scared of getting a possible disease. The surfaces were all sticky. The toilet had been used and not flushed. The pull out couch literally had whole Takis in it. I could go on and on. Therefore, we chose to left and find another hotel. This was very inconvient and costly for us, since prices had gone up tremendously. It was a frustrating experience.

The hotel had such a horrible odor that I went and bought heavy duty Febreze and sprayed my hallway, room, and especially the closet. I asked for a bar of soap to wash hands for two days to no avail. Finally, a young woman at the front desk went to look and found that their shipment was not in yet! The room was supplied with a very small bottle of body wash for all of our needs.

The grounds were very unkept, especially by the side entrance to our hallway. The pool was probably cleaner than lake water.

Needless to say, I will never stay here again!

If I could give negative stars I would. Property is run down inside and out. Entered the room to be greeted by a a roach and the stench of smoke. Sheets were stained, found a fingernail clipping in the bed, wallpaper peeling off walls, carpet stained, side table dirty. Was given a new room which a was assured was the best one and very clean. Second room smelled just as bad, had a plastic bag over the smoke detector and food left in the refrigerator! Didn't even stay two hours and after numerous calls, chats with hotels.com and visits to the front desk was assured of a refund but still waiting on my refund for the 3 nights I had booked!

Some of the staff were unfriendly but front desk personnel were friendlier. We missed breakfast by a few minutes so not sure about it. Parking was fine.

When we arrive at the hotel, there was no toilet paper, tissue paper or hand soap, and they didn’t even have a shower curtain. We had to go to the front desk to request the items. The shower curtain issue dragged for two days so the first two days we had to shower without it and water was splashing all over the bathroom making it slippery. We had to use the towels to dry the floor and so we didn’t have enough towels to use for to dry our bodies. The room also smelled like dogs and you could tell things were just not very clean. And on top of all that the bed was terrible. It was slanted and you could feel the springs in the mattress so I I would wake up every morning with a sore back. I did complain to the front desk and they said they would just make a note. They didn’t offer to change the room or anything like that. I would not recommend going back to this place. Also, I’m not sure if they didn’t plan correctly for the number of guests, or what, but they will run out of breakfast items before breakfast time was over leaving people without stuff to eat.

I understand being short staff which is why I want you to take this into consideration. With this hotel being short staff these are the issues found in the room and yes I took pictures. The toilet had pubic hair on it, no toilet paper in bathroom, the tub was dirty, the floor in the bathroom had hair on it, there was a hole where the door knob hits the wall, roach in bathroom, tub had mold on sides needs to recaulked, the bathroom sink had food in it, the sheets were not changed out because there was dirt and hair in it, missing light bulbs in a lamp and microwave, microwave was dirty, food was left in the fridge from previous guest, fridge wasn't clean, no trash bags in trashcan or in ice bucket. The hotel was sold out due to graduation ceremony for Texas Tech which is why we couldn't go to another room. Didn't bother with the continent breakfast didnt trust it with how the room was given to us. Again keep in mind they were short staffed. Maybe it is better if they were fully staffed.

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was and our room. It’s an older hotel but they are making updates like new paint. There is no elevator so if you are on the 2nd floor you’ll be walking up a flight of stairs.
Pool was clean but water was ice cold. Hot tub was warm and clean. Pool towels were small and thin but provided if asked. So that’s nice.
Plugs for chargers by the bedside! Bed was decent.
Staff was nice. Breakfast was sufficient but very low quality supplies and they were out of a lot when I got there around 8:30am.
Food needed salt and pepper except the gravy which was extremely salty.
We got a very good deal on a very busy weekend so it worked for us!
Good location with lots of food and a Walmart next door.

we ended up in the "other" building and it is absolutely horrendous. It is hot,stuffy,smells like weed,the elevator is so slow and loud it won't be long before someone is stuck in there. Our room 379 was dirty. The cabinets show signs of roaches.Moving the tray with the coffee pot clearly shows signs of liquids being spilled and not cleaned up. All the amenities are all at the check in hotel anything and everything you need you'll need to cross the parking lot to get. This hotel used to be so nice to stay at.

The single staff member at the desk for check in was very sweet and friendly. Unfortunately, the room we were placed in was in the detached building that smelled awful and the halls were very dirty. The room itself was very dirty. The kitchenette, bathroom, and bedding were all dirty. Bathtub and toilet did not look clean; there was a used bar of soap still in the stall. There were crumbs from something still littered on the carpet by the bed and sitting area. The bedding was stained on both the flat sheet and the pillow cases. My partner moved the mattress to check underneath and found a dead bug. We left and went to another hotel. I did not even bother trying to get a different room at this hotel.

Don’t recommend this place at all.
It was not clean, also room service never came for anything at all we had to go ask for towels for the second night and were asked to bring dirty towels downstairs instead of staff doing their job correctly.
Our room key stopped working on our second day there and we had to go back and fourth due to key not working even after front desk “issued new key” finally after six attempts the staff decided to manually open our door for us. Water in the bath ran loudly the whole time we were there. This hotel was just not a good experience overall .

We stayed in what must be an older building. It was very run down and not clean. Our room had what looked like a blood spat on the bathroom wall and the floor was dirty with hair everywhere. The carpet was not vacuumed. There were no rooms available at any other hotels so we didn't have a choice but to stay. When we initially checked in the clerk was very nice. After we checked out and left I realized I left my sweatshirt in the room. I called a few times to see if it was found and couldn't get an answer or a call back. I don't normally leave reviews but this stay was terrible.

The staff was semi helpful when they handed me a new sheet that was still stained. The hotel had signs that said non smoking but it strongly smelled of cigarettes and weed. The property is in bad shape. Card key entry doors are unlocked and don’t require a card key. Furniture in the room was falling apart. Linens and towels were old and dingy. Used washcloth still hanging on the shower curtain rod from previous guest. Bathroom sink had hairs from previous guests. Wallpaper was peeling in the room and bathroom. Holes in the bathroom wall where towel rack was repositioned or repaired but not patched. Glass in the bedroom window cracked and weather sealing peeling away or missing. In general, a poorly maintained hotel room especially considering the cost per night,$300. I’m sure if George Strait wasn’t in town giving a concert it might be less.

Probably one of the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Check in went fine. Front desk attendant, Tommy, was very helpful and polite. Went to our room and found the lock had likely recently been changed and the new lock left the door with a hole that could see into the room. Entered the room and found the dead bolt didn’t lock. Used the facilities to discover the toilet did not flush. All of this was reported to the front desk. We returned to our room at midnight. Our key did not work. We went to the front desk and the keys were re-programmed. Entering required two key cards. The outside card still did not work. We entered the building with another couple who also had problems with their keys. Walked to the room and that key still did not work. We also discovered masking tape on the outside of the door to cover the hole. Second, possibly third trip to front desk and we were finally in the room. This is at midnight. Still no working toilet or functional lock. Called the front desk, the attendant came up to the room twice to “fix” the toilet and had maintenance on FaceTime. He was instructed to turn on the toilet valve to fill the tank and this was a little after 1:00 am. Hardly a relaxing experience. Throughout this experience, we asked for another room and was told they were sold out. We would have sought another hotel but everything in town was sold out due to a big name concert in town.

Not sure how this place has so many 10/10 ratings. Yes, the staff were friendly, but for nearly $300 for one night this place is an absolute dump. Wallpaper is peeling off all the walls, our room had a burnt out square in the carpet, the toilet overflowed onto the floor from just flushing it. Our room also had an overwhelming smell of maple syrup and some of the furniture and the phone had mystery stains on them like they hadn’t been wiped down. This hotel needs a complete overhaul. I travel a lot and am all about giving some grace, but this place is a dump.

They put us in a king bed with twin pull out bed when I reserved a king bed with a king pull out bed. They ended up putting us with a 2 queen which wasn't what I reserved. There was lots of pubic hair on the toiled when we got there. The electronic keys quit working in the hotel and everyone had to have their doors physically unlocked by staff. the bathtub. The hot tub wasn't hot at all.

The poor girl working the front desk was the only employee we saw doing anything, not sure if there is a manager or owner who needs to loosen up the purse strings a bit so they can hire and train properly. She was great, but had to unlock each person's door as the key card machine was down, personally deal with room issues, and had no housekeeping for a couple days. I'm all about cost savings, but not at the employees and customers expense.
The room was fine, light bulbs and working wall outlets were hit and miss. Some hallway light bulbs were out, and apparently their painter stopped mid job leaving painters tape all down the rub rails in the hallway.

Parking was great the room was clean and amazing the staff was very polite. We did not get to try the hot tub

This was by far the absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. We left within an hour of checking in. We had 2 rooms and both were DIRTY! There was dirty sheets on the sofa bed. Kids pulled it from the wall and there was donuts, noodles and a marijuana pen back there. The bed smelled like urine as well as someone else drink in the fridge. In the other room both beds had dirty sheets and the tv stand had what looked like dried up ice cream (I hope) 😩 The walls were incredibly filthy like they have never been wiped down and possible mold. The guy at the front desk offered to come clean the rooms and said give him 10 minutes and he would be there. We waited 30 and no one still had not showed up so we checked out. We did not receive a call from the manager or anyone to even try and rectify. I have pictures of everything I mentioned above.

Room had previous guest trash in it, ac leaked, toilet leaked, heater didnt work great , shower leaked and the shower floor matt was extremely dirty and gross covering a gaint hole that our shower water went thru better then the drain

Rooms are in process of refurbishment but beds are comfortable & room amenities are nice. The breakfast was good. The do need to get something other than plastic water cups for coffee. Front desk staff was ver personable & polite.

First I want to say the staff was great had no issues, but the cleanliness and the condition of the hotel could’ve been way better. Honestly the hotel needs a complete renovation it had the potential to be very amazing. The pool and the hot tub are was good

This stay was horrible. The entire building was rough looking. The AC wasn’t working properly. The tv remote was missing and was replaced with a remote that didn’t even work. Our room was never cleaned. The front desk never answered the phone when I’d call. The man who checked us in was rude and inconsiderate. My 4 year old son was playing with my friend and the attendant said “what’s wrong with him” as if my child, being a child, was defected.

As we entered the room there was an odor. It was not clean. Then i needed to go to the bathroom, when i flushed, the toilet overflowed, water everywhere. I went to the front desk and complained, they told me housekeeping would be there soon. Yes housekeeping went to drop off clean towels. But did not fix the problem. We had to use the bathroom that was in the hall. We will not be returning to this place at all.
