IT was a fun stay but I don't think the price matched the quality of the room. The furniture was old, it smelled kind of funky and the elevator was sketchy. The breakfast, live intertainment and free drinks were pretty cool though. Over all I would stay there again if the prices were lower.

I really want this hotel to survive, but you are living on borrowed time. You are at least 5 years behind in improvement and renovation. Carpeting, vents (rusting and filthy), damaged plaster ceilings, door key cards working 50% of the time, television in bedroom freezing in both rooms I stayed in. Eventually this property will fall in on itself. Hilton needs to invest. This is a property with great location and potential.

I liked the breakfast buffet , I was happy that I got the opportunity to have a freshly made omelette that I wanted and the staff were very welcoming and polite. I would highly recommend and will be staying here again. The only problem I encountered was the air conditioning was not working properly and I called the front desk and they sent maintenance immediately and he had it working again.

The property is well kept. The first night we stayed in a room with the bedroom facing the highway which runs around Lubbock. I went to the front desk and explained I wasn't able to sleep and requested a new room if available. Brandon Kent understood my request and moved my wife and myself to the opposite side of the property with a upgrade. The remaining 2 day trip was very comfortable. Didn't have the opportunity to be involved with the managers drink special but the breakfast was used for two days and it was delicious.

My family and I stayed here while attending our daughter’s college orientation. We typically choose Embassy Suites because we’ve consistently enjoyed the complimentary amenities, spacious rooms, and comfortable accommodations.

The staff at this location were exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and professional, and we truly appreciated their hospitality. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel did not match the level of service we received.

Our room was in serious need of updates and didn’t feel clean or well maintained. There was visible mold in the shower, the beds were uncomfortable, the couch cushions were worn down and deflated, and there was a sticky residue on the headboard. We also noticed that the wallpaper was peeling off the walls behind the curtains, adding to the overall feeling that the room had been neglected. The condition of the room left us feeling uneasy, to the point that we were hesitant to use the shower and were simply looking forward to returning home.

The location is convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Being in the city, it has a different atmosphere than the Embassy Suites locations we’re accustomed to staying at.

The outstanding staff made a positive impression, but the condition of the property overshadowed our experience. Hilton, with a little investment and some much-needed updates, this could be a great hotel again.

I forgot TOOTHPASTE!! The front desk had a little tube for us for free! The breakfast was good and the happy hour snacks with two free drinks from the bar were GREAT! My room was a little old looking, the couch was from the 80’s and the bathroom doesn’t have a fan, so the condensation made the places where the paint was chipped look all rusty. The bed was clean and comfy so it’s all good.

Ceiling tiles were broken, carpet was sticky, there was mold in the shower. My daughter will be at TTU for the next 4 years, and I will not be staying here again. My sleep is more important than 2 “free” happy hour drinks.

The staff was excellent, kind and friendly. However the key cards barely work. Took me two minutes each time to get into the room due to faulty locks on the door. The AC does not work very well at all. It was quite humid and warm in the rooms even though I set the AC to lowest setting and had it on. The water in the tub ran the whole time. The breakfast was meh. Although the hotel was clean and the staff was nice the hotel definately needs some upgrades done.

Took over an hour to get someone to take an order for room service after multiple calls with no answer. Room got to room and the protein was not on the plate and all the food was cold with server reporting he could not find the room. My husband had dropped his suit pants on the way into the building. Called the front desk the next morning and they reported they were not turned in and had to go purchase new pants and upon returning home thinking maybe I left them on the bed, which were not there. I called the hotel back and the gentleman that answered the phone said yes they are here at the front desk. Amazing how 2 days later they suddenly appear. I did send my brother in-law to go pick them up for us as we are 4 hours away

Best part of our stay was Trey. I reserved a premium room and on our 2nd day they had not refilled the snacks. We had been at TT for 10 hrs and didn’t get lunch, so it was important to us. Trey not only found someone to take care of this, he also personally came to the room to make sure we were happy. Awesome young man with fantastic customer service!
The dining staff at breakfast was also fantastic. The gal who worked the omelet window June 9 was also great. She was constantly looking out on how she could help a guest.
Our stay was also met with bumps. We had driven 6 hrs and had hoped to check in early, but the room was not ready, but the front desk assured us it would be ready no later than 4. When we returned from TT at 4:30 to check in our room was not ready. In fact, it was noted that housekeeping and maintenance do not answer their radios when called, leaving the front desk frustrated.
The beds are not pillow top, they lean more on the stiff side. They did have an assortment of pillows including feather, which was nice!
The hotel is worn with tears in their carpet and air conditioning that struggles to keep up. Did find if you turn the fan to “on” instead of “auto” helped to keep the room cooler.

Everyone was very nice but this hotel is very dated. I assumed all Embassy Suites would be nice. Old stained up couch with ripped armrests on it. Literally had foam sticking out of the dirty almost black stained armrests. Shower and tub had rust in it. Just not my idea of a nice hotel. Musty smell. Bed was comfortable and sheets seemed clean. Hotel staff were really kind. We didn’t really complain. Not their fault that the place just needs an overall renovation.
