Usually don’t leave reviews, but this property went above and beyond in all areas. Wanted to especially call attention to Michael in the breakfast area. He was so kind, attentive and gracious. Made our stay even more exceptional.

We were just passing through and arrived late 10:30pm but the stay and staff were great. Hilton Garden Inn never disappoints with the amenities, cleanliness and helpful nature of the staff. Thanks. Recommend this hotel to any visitors.

First time staying here, only stayed one night, but the front desk was very polite and helpful with restaurant suggestions. We were checked in quickly and our room was very clean, roomy and all lights worked, tv was a nice size and the shower had great pressure and temperature was perfect. The beds were comfy and clean, the only little thing was the pillows, they were way too soft, but having two per person did help a bit. We got good sleep and we all enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The hotel looks like it is finished being upgraded but the pool and weight room were not open and my room had a bad patch work job on the ceiling and the phones were not working. In addition they had only one elevator working and it was hit or miss. I did not get an email to let me know that it was being worked on or under construction.

The review is this, Hotel above average, the rate [4] day min was 1700.00+ because of George Strait concert. I have stayed at 5 star Hotels & stayed at just avg motel/hotels, but have never been ripped off as much as Expedia did to me on this time, I left after [3] nights as had to get back home, I would never spend another $$ with Expedia for the reason above & how they take advantage of people & situations,

I cannot say enough good things about the front desk staff at the Hilton Garden Inn Lubbock. Aubrey, the night audit checked us in on our arrival after a super long day. I mentioned we were in town for George Strait and not only having to change hotels for the next night, but also had to travel 40 miles north of town due to lack of availability. Aubrey took my name, room number, and cell number and also encouraged me to check with the staff the next day. Rose Mariah was sweet in checking for rooms multiple times Friday morning as well as escalating any questions to Matthew. Matthew was able to work us in so we were able to stay in our room an extra night at an agreed upon price. Their kindness, and encouragement to “keep checking back. Don’t feel like you’re being annoying, because you’re not” saved us a 40 minute drive after a late concert, and a 40 minute drive back in the wee hours of the morning to catch our flight at 6:40am! Matthew also asked if we would need any housekeeping services. I mentioned we could use towels but it wasn’t a big deal if it did not happen. Upon our return to the room after the concert our bathroom had been fully refreshed and I was able to take a nice shower with fresh towels. Everything was so easily and politely handled. Thank you. I will always recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Lubbock!

The property condition was really the only downfall to our stay.

The entire second floor flooring was bowed and bouncy. Our room had a large dip by the bed that you tripped on all the time. Bathtub was loose and repaired with caulk.

Overall a very nice hotel that looks like it was recently remodeled, but maybe cheaply done?

Mixed Feelings at a Beautiful Property
I recently stayed at this hotel, and while there were some standout highlights, a few communication hiccups kept it from being a perfect five-star experience.
The Highlights: Aesthetics & Amenities
The first thing you notice is how beautiful the lobby area is. It sets a great tone the moment you walk in. While I was disappointed to find there was no pool or whirlpool, the hotel made up for it with other practical features:
• Fitness Center: Well-maintained and a great addition for staying active.
• Guest Laundry: Having access to washing machines was a huge plus for a longer stay.
• Food & Drink: They have a fantastic selection of beer, wine, and snacks available.
• Breakfast: Truly impressive! The quality was much higher than your standard hotel fare.
The Hiccups: Check-out & Communication
I did run into a bit of frustration during check-out. Because I booked through a third-party website, the system made the process difficult. However, I want to give a shout-out to the staff. They were incredibly attentive and resolved the issue quickly. Their willingness to help through the technical glitch was much appreciated.
The Dealbreaker: The Fire Alarm Test
The biggest downside was a fire alarm test that occurred right when I was heading to sleep. Apparently, other guests had been notified, but I was never told. It was quite a jarring experience when you’re trying to rest.

Wonderful hotel! Exceeded our expectations by far! From check in to check out, everything was easy and great!
Front desk was very welcoming and always helpful. Room was much bigger than expected, very clean and quiet.
We booked the King room with kitchen and living room, was so worth it! Very spacious and nice setup with full size fridge, sink and counter area and table with seats. Exactly what we needed and more. It was also nice that the bedroom was separate with its own door.
We didn’t try the food or bar but looked nice as well. Great hotel, definitely recommend and will stay again when in Lubbock.

Stay in this hotel often for medical visits. Generally great rooms and pleasant staff. This time our room was not up to the standards we expect of this hotel. Carpet had spots on it, the bathroom wall paper was peeling and discoloration on the tiles. Queen size beds seemed more like doubles and were very uncomfortable. We will continue to stay in this hotel just not this room, which we requested due to roll in shower and close proximity to front desk.
