The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room and entire hotel smelled like cigarettes and weed. The smoke alarm in our room started going off at one point as people in the rooms near us were smoking inside. The shower water was cold and would not get hot or even warm.

My recent stay at this hotel was far from satisfactory. After a long day of driving, I arrived late at night (around 11:00 PM) and had to call the front desk from the lobby to check in. It was clear that I had woken up the staff member, who seemed frustrated and took 10-15 minutes to come down. When she arrived, she was in pajamas, visibly distracted by her phone, and shaking her head—an unwelcoming first impression. To her credit, she was polite once she began the check-in process.

Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke. Even worse, the beds were extremely uncomfortable—you could feel the springs, making it difficult to get any rest. Given these problems, I regret not seeking alternate accommodations immediately.

For the price and based on the listing, I expected a much better experience. I hope management addresses these issues for future guests.

I would if I would have got to stay an sleep especially when I was asked what time would they be expecting me and I put 3-4am an when I get there I was told I had to be there by 1am or it was consider a no show so after driving 16 hours to find out not only did I pay for room I wasn’t even going to be able to sleep in an still had a 6 hour drive home so I just drove home

Nobody was at the front desk when we arrived. We had to call from the lobby phone to get somebody to come. The lady said it would be 15 minutes until she could check us in on the phone. Once she finally arrived, it turns out that she was the person out in the parking lot smoking when we first arrived. She seemed super inconvenienced that she had to check us in. She rarely said anything in a kind tone. The hotel said it was pet friendly, but did I didn't see a method for adding our dog to the reservation online. I figured I'd just add her when checking in like I have done at many other hotels. She seemed super put out that she had to do that.

Additionally, the hotel is advertised as non-smoking. First the lobby smelt of smoke, then both our rooms smelt even worse, and then the lady informed us the 3rd floor was a smoking floor. Granted our rooms were on the 2nd and 4th, but the hotel is listed as non-smoking, not listed with a smoking floor.

To top it all off, one of the beds was covered in hair and had a nice, decorative fresh yellow stain right I. The middle of it. Disgusting!

I went to talk to the front desk again. I had to call her on the phone again and she said it would be 10 more minutes before she could assist me. But I proceeded to ask for a refund anyway on the phone when she informed me we had to go through hotels.

We wound up just leaving.

I never got a refund, but hotels.com wound up giving us one cash at the value of the rooms to compensate.

Oof that thang is STANKY!!!

They say it’s a non-smoking hotel/room, but the second you step foot in the elevator it smells like you just walked into a trap house. I had to drink myself to sleep to be able to tolerate the smell. When I got home, my clothes smelled like they just spent 6 months in a halfway house. The sink in the bathroom didn’t really work; it was about as efficient as a rat spitting on your hands. Our room keys stopped working so we got locked out of the hotel. They were unable to get us new ones so we had to get someone from the front desk to let us in with her master key. She seemed too busy playing her poker game on her phone to figure out the key machine. All in all, would not recommend unless it’s your last option and you don’t have a sense of smell.

If you plan to stay here for a few nights, just be aware they do not provide any toiletries! One small bar of soap is all you get. No shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc. And, if you ask the front desk if they have any, they are quite rude and tell you they’ve never had any! This was our first time staying here so we didn’t know!

Awful experience. We were there for a funeral and Lubbock was booked due to TT homecoming. We had no choice BUT to stay there. The room was dirty(bugs/hair/etc), water pressure was bad, plugs didn’t work, AC made an awful noise, they usually didn’t have linens when we tried to replace towels each day. We had to postpone our departure for one day and they wouldn’t even extend our booking for 1 day—even though we had already been there for 4 nights. They said we had to extend for a minimum of TWO nights, which is ridiculous. So we left.
We will NEVER go back there.

Where do I begin. Upon walking in, the place smelled of stale cigarettes and fried chicken. The first room I was assigned was dirty, and the door was open. I was assigned another room, but upon inspection, we realized that the pillows were thin, the cover was more like a sheet, and the “bed” was more like a pull out cot style. It was extremely uncomfortable. My husband asked for more pillows, and the very nice front desk person told us they had none, but they did give us another blanket. This place needs to be reported to corporate.

I didn't stay at all. I went to check in, and they said they had been trying to reach me all day but didn't have my phone #. They did not have a room for me. So, they essentially gave it to someone else. I had to walk through 8 people standing right by the door smoking to get inside, where is also reeked of smoke.

The entry to the hotel feels like you are being incarcerated. This does not give a welcoming or safe feeling. After hours check in gives feels like your busting some behind bars. We arrived after midnight. Check in time was until 5:00 AM. The front desk was closed upon arrival & had to be called. After 25 minutes, we were able to check in. The room only had two lights, which were just over the entrance. The floor needed to be swept. There were 3 guests & 2 towels. No bedside table or lamp. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again.

Hotel halls smelled like an ashtray.

This place was gross. The room we originally checked in to had water all over the floor, so we had to change rooms. The whole hotel smelled like cigarette smoke and BO. There were no towels or paper towels in our room, not even an ice bucket or plastic cup to drink out of. No hand soap, and the lights didn’t work. The beds had no box springs on them, just a thin mattress on a creaky frame. The walls had what looked like mud all over them and the bathroom was disgusting. The motel had the worse customer service experience and I get that bc of covid they close early, we made it in at 1230am, and it took 30 plus minutes to even get someone to the front desk to even wait on us. The lady was very rude. i had 2 small children, crack heads coming in and out, kinda scary. they needed to go to bathroom, but they could not find a key. The beds were the worst i have ever laid on. no soap, no amenities, no coffee pot in room, no coffee downstairs, no one even at front desk till 10am, so no way to get coffee. Tried checking out they said i still owed money. i paid online, not at all nice , very rude staff, and will never be back, and will let everybody know how bad it was.

The outside of the facility was well kept.

We waited a good 10 or 15 minutes before the Desk Service Representative came to check us in. We called twice for the check-in.

The inside was not cleaned. There was left-over food containers in the refrigerators. There was NO CARPET on the the bedroom floor. There were dead bed-bugs on the bathroom floor. I took pictures of the dead bed bugs.
We asked for a refund immediately. The hotel representative said I had to contact Expedia for a full refund. We made reservations at another hotel for the same price.
I contacted Expedia immediately via email. This is the second time I am completing this survey.
I am request a full refund on my credit card.

The bed sheets were dirty, the floor has dog poop and pee on it and the commode had a human feces explosion in it. The bathtub and refrigerator looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. Spoke with the general manager, and she did not care at all. Front desk lady was super nice and issued our refund.

Wet Surprise on the Bed

It was horrible; it took about 45 minutes for someone to let me check in, felt like I was checking into a prison, when I finally got to my room and ready to lay down to go to bed, I laid down and the bed was soaking wet and only in the middle, it was cold and had a perfume smell to it, I'm sure you can imagine what the heck I laid on, I was so grossed out it made me ill the next day, I didn't try to get a new room because it was so late and of course it took too long for someone to come check me in I can only imagine the nightmare it might become and later that I would get to sleep, I slept on about what felt like 5 inches of the bed to try to sleep and not lay on the wet spot; worst hotel I've ever been to my whole life

Looks better in pictures.

Lubbock was mostly sold out so few choices available. This place looks better outside and in pictures than it really is. Towels were either badly stained or dirty, not sure which, but skipped risking a shower.

My stay was not that great. The staff was very nice and helpful. The tv remote control didnt work. The shower water pressure was low and It was quite noisy made it difficult to sleep at times.

NEVER AGAIN!

HORRIFIC was an understatement!!!
Took 30 minutes before we got checked in, and when we finally did 1 room was not even cleaned or ready. The other room was disgusting....not clean. Stained towels and sheets, whole room was dirty, old food in the kitchenette drawers, and people yelling and slamming doors until 4 in the morning.
Was so bad I was did not even want my dog to sleep on the floor!
If it had not been so late and could have found somewhere else with availability we would have left...even considered sleeping in the car.
I understand that this is an economy style location, but it was so bad I should have been payed to stay. NOT WORTH A PENNY!
I have stayed in some real sh*t hole dive places, but this tops the list....
Very disappointed and would NOT recommend!!!

This is an inexpensive extended stay place. The rooms have a two burner stove, microwave and fridge. One issue was that the heat side of the HVAC didn't work and it got cold a couple of nights. AC did work.The room wasn't \"hotel clean\" when I arrived, however I wasn't terribly unhappy with it. Although the non-smoking room I was in smelled ok, the halls reeked of tobacco smoke. The staff were very accommodating, I had to extend my stay on the fly and had no issues. The laundry facilities were good. All machines worked and it was clean. It was an adequate solution since I had to stay in town while my wife was in the hospital. If you are expecting the Marriot, go elsewhere.

Gross. Get what you pay for I guess but even more gross than I thought. It smelled and you could tell not properly cleaned.

Not to mention there was a screaming match between two guys in the hallway that resulted in beer spilled all over the floors.

I checked in at 3:30 and had to wait admit 10 minutes for someone to come help me. Then we didn't go to our room took 9pm and the tv didn't have a signal. I called the # and the person wasn't even at the location and he stated someone would come to the room. I decided to go to front desk but it had closed at 8pm. No one came to the room to assist. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. When we went to leave the elevatordidn't work so we had to walk 4 flights of stairs. I won't be staying here again.
