That’s was for second room I got first room had horrible stained couch carpet was torn stinker like cigarette I stayed because I had no other choice I had to buy my own towels and disinfectant the whole room clean all the hair. They have no pride in their business

Everything was excellent but the only down side was the access of the pool it open at 3 pm and closed at 8 pm we couldn’t get in it was total bomber for us they need to extend the hours but besides that i highly recommend it

The air conditioner was not working it felt like we were in a sauna and it never not cooled finally at midnight they were moving us to another room which was horrible only had 1 towel for us and had no microwave to heat my coffee had no coffee maker
The hotel had no elevator and we had to juggle our suitcases up and down the stairs and all of our bags that we had made it hard and very inconvenient. The stay here was just horrible.

Upon arrival we had to pay 50.00 for a security deposit. Was told it would be 5 days to get it back. Not on the website. Tears in carpet. Room smell of mold. Internet was next to impossible to login to. The water in the pool was so dirty you could not see the bottom. When we left there was no one at the desk. When she did show up she was rude. Will not stay at this hotel again.

We knew there was an issue when the person ahead of us in line chose to lose money than to stay another night. They had already moved to another room but still insisted in leaving. When we made it to the counter the young lady helping us was terrible. She told me the room was the opposite direction than where it actually was. When we finally found the room it reeked of cigarettes, the furniture looked to be right out of a crack house. I called the front office (the same lady responded). When I explained the situation her resolution was another room next door or spray the existing room followed by a room cancellation. The way she said it sounded as it being a reoccurring resolution. We obviously ran out and had to scramble to find another hotel. I only wish I had taken the time to take pictures to add to this comment.

Air conditioner didn’t work and Management knew about it. They stuck a small floor model the size of a toaster to somehow air-conditione the entire room. Result was an 85 degree night. One micro sized bar of soap for the three of us. No shampoo. Worst part though, the room reeked with cigarette smoke. I don’t mean as in a small hint of cigarette smoke. No, I mean it was as if it was a smoky honky tonk bar for 30 years.

What I did not like about our visit . Tvs did not work , wifi did not work but they were still checking people in. In the room microwave would not shut off, no time on screen, had to open door to turn it off.fixed chsin on flapper to get toilet yo work. had not been swept in at least a week. Was told manager would be on duty this morning , that did not happen. They had 4 tables set up with 4 chairs each for breakfast they were all full and people were walking out. the man at the front desk was getting it from everyone checking out because the menager was not there. We will never go back ,We will rethink our decisions about Days inn and Wyndham properties.

Worst experience you could imagine. Check in was scheduled for 3pm but had to wait until 6 to actually have a room. Staff had no clue what was going on and didn’t offer anything to make our stay any better. Key would stop working and door wouldn’t open. Called front desk for remote to tv and never got a call back. The smell of smoke/marijuana was still lingering in multiple rooms. Overall a horrible experience.

Ok. It was a budget option, but budget shouldn’t equal trashy. Dead bugs and sticker burrs on the dirty carpet. Filthy bathroom floor and toilet seat. One ice machine in the building and it was dead. No freaking ice in the place? The front desk remade my key but other than that I got shrugs and weak smiles. Don’t do it.
Oh yeah, housekeeping just walks in. Taps on the door and before I can get up and open it, there she is in the room! No. Just no.

This was by far the absolute worst stay and hotel I've ever experienced in my 48 years of life. We were in town for the George Strait concert and there was limited hotel availability in Lubbock at the time and unfortunately got stuck with this dumpster fire of a lodging facility.

We were not the only occupants that experienced no working TV, ripped up carpet, dirty linens, iron with cord cut, upholstery and furniture disgusting, along with empty shooter bottles and other nasty trash behind and under bed and dressers, but just about every other family or individual staying there, experience the same thing but worse in some cases. One lady had no shower curtain or towels, a dirty room with empty pills bottles upon arrival, and everything I'm mentioned and my living quarters.

Just a little time, effort, and paying attention to the small details can go a long way for those businesses that can't afford luxury accommodations but can help make up for that. It was blatantly obvious that the management and ownership of this property doesn't take pride in their establishment nor care for the accommodations they're providing.

The rooms was not cleaned at check in had to check in @ 4:30 not 3 after I was going à room smelled real bad smoke and it was a non smoking room. No remote control so no tv for us. The sheets were dirty the pool was not functioning. So basically we just showered and left for a concert and slept for a few hour before leaving. Real bad experience I hope they work on it.

Property was not clean properly. There was no ashtrays in the room. There was no remote for the TV and the TV did not work. The door would not properly close easily it will get stuck on the door jam. The breakfast was cold. They didn’t have very much of a variety. It was too crowded and the staff front desk was very very rude when the issue with the TV was brought up to them. I don’t suggest I will look somewhere else and pay a little bit extra to have a cleaner room and a friendlier staff.

There was no remote to turn the channels or the volume up on the TV once the TV was turned on it was broken. There’s no picture only sound. There was no ashtrays in the room and it was a smoking room. The door would not close automatically on its own will get stuck on the door jam.

So the staff was okay, but I only talked to them a bit. I only stayed here one night, and it was still a bad experience. Every towel and sheet was stained. I got in first time with no issues, forgot something in my car, and on my way back my card just stopped working. My car was right outside, but I never felt safe where it was. When we arrived we were put on the second floor. When we got into the room there was animal hair and stains on the bed (sheets, pillows and comforter), there was hair in sink and all over the toilet, and the coffee cups had lipstick marks on them. To top it all off, there was no microwave and the mini fridge didn’t work.
We went downstairs and asked to be moved, the gentleman at the counter was like a deer in headlights, we didn’t receive an apology nor did he show any remorse for the state of the room. Our second room was downstairs, it was okay but the mini fridge still did not work, the couch and chair in there were stain city and the AC unit was broken so it was constantly running.
Not the safest location either. Would not stay here again.

everything was fine except for the staff when I made a wrong reservation online for the wrong day on accident and I didn't get to stay they came in and asked to help me out with my room help me moving out and they actually took two bags from me and they either threw him away or kept them I don't know but that wasn't nice and it wasn't it pleasant experience and older probably 45 to 55 years old not sure of her name it was a really weird experience to have somebody come in there and adult that work there and take a couple of your bags out with stuff in it that you needed just for making a wrong graduation on my it was funny it was supposed to be for the 7th through the 8th but I mistaken and thought that's what it said it wasn't so I don't know they got really upset and kicked me up and then they did that afterwards just because I did but I need glasses and I didn't have them so that's why I made a mistake okay okay

The room was unclean. When we could not get the door open, we had the night staff get it open for us. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. There were hairs on the sheets. There were also what google lens identified as possible bed bugs on the sheets. Behind the bed, where we needed to plug in our phones had candy and trash. There was one rag for two adults. I would have left that night if it was not so late when I arrived (12am), and there had been available rooms in town.

I had asked for a non-smoking room, and I received a smoking room. When I checked in the person checking us in said there would be an additional fee to change even though I had originally requested a non-smoking room. I was not paying the additional fee, so the room assigned was missing most of the amenities, including towels. The clerk did change our room that was a little better. The clerk also charged us a fee which he said would be refunded but I have not received my refund. The breakfast was eggs and biscuits which had been there for a long time because they were hard. As we left the breakfast area the cook did bring in fresh eggs and biscuits. I have stayed in several other Days Inns, but this one has been the worse experience we have had. Maybe you should have someone check out the hotels before you endorse them.

Air conditioner didn’t work and we didn’t discover this fact until after we fell asleep!! Woke up to the room 80 degrees!!!! Had to leave early for a flight so we just dealt with it. Went to check out and then complain but the man behind the counter just looked up at me from his seat in the corner of the front office and then went back to playing some game on his phone!!! Totally ignored that was there!!! I will NEVER use this hotel again!!!

The room smelled like marijuana when we arrived. There were no towels. They said we would not get towels until 10 or 11 the next day because housekeeping left for the day. I said check out was 11 so we can’t shower so they went into another room with a couch that looked like a private room to give me towels. When we went to sleep, there was a red stain on the white blanket that was rather large. We slept without it. Hair was in the shower. I asked them if they had cleaned our room since there were no towels and it smelled of marijuana and they said yes which clearly wasn’t true. The door lock would jam. They still haven’t credited my deposit and it has been 4 days. The pool looked cloudy. The tv wouldn’t change channels. There were sheets you could see through because they were so worn down. Almost no outlets. It was a disaster. Complete nightmare.

I don't normally give a bad review maybe disappointment but this days inn and another one I found in the Lubbock TX area was ghetto. The smell of old building and mildew. Very questionable. These hotels owned by middle east Indians do not take care of their businesses. They fix things themselves or hire cheap labor. Dirty carpet, plumbing problems, roof and water damage. City should inspect for update codes and health inspection as well as fire inspection. Never again will I ever stay at these hotels.

It was noisy and in a sketchy part of town. We were in a pinch and there for an emergency, but for the most part you get what you pay for, so it was just somewhere to sleep for a couple hours.
