Worst experience you could imagine. Check in was scheduled for 3pm but had to wait until 6 to actually have a room. Staff had no clue what was going on and didn’t offer anything to make our stay any better. Key would stop working and door wouldn’t open. Called front desk for remote to tv and never got a call back. The smell of smoke/marijuana was still lingering in multiple rooms. Overall a horrible experience.

Don't waste your money. We got to the hotel at 3 to check in and were told the room would be ready at 4. Came back at 4 and they said 5. We had concert tickets and missed one of the opening acts. Had to get ready in the pool bathroom with no lock. The staff was not at all helpful. When we finally did get a room it was dirty and poorly maintained

Ok. It was a budget option, but budget shouldn’t equal trashy. Dead bugs and sticker burrs on the dirty carpet. Filthy bathroom floor and toilet seat. One ice machine in the building and it was dead. No freaking ice in the place? The front desk remade my key but other than that I got shrugs and weak smiles. Don’t do it.
Oh yeah, housekeeping just walks in. Taps on the door and before I can get up and open it, there she is in the room! No. Just no.

This was by far the absolute worst stay and hotel I've ever experienced in my 48 years of life. We were in town for the George Strait concert and there was limited hotel availability in Lubbock at the time and unfortunately got stuck with this dumpster fire of a lodging facility.

We were not the only occupants that experienced no working TV, ripped up carpet, dirty linens, iron with cord cut, upholstery and furniture disgusting, along with empty shooter bottles and other nasty trash behind and under bed and dressers, but just about every other family or individual staying there, experience the same thing but worse in some cases. One lady had no shower curtain or towels, a dirty room with empty pills bottles upon arrival, and everything I'm mentioned and my living quarters.

Just a little time, effort, and paying attention to the small details can go a long way for those businesses that can't afford luxury accommodations but can help make up for that. It was blatantly obvious that the management and ownership of this property doesn't take pride in their establishment nor care for the accommodations they're providing.

The rooms was not cleaned at check in had to check in @ 4:30 not 3 after I was going à room smelled real bad smoke and it was a non smoking room. No remote control so no tv for us. The sheets were dirty the pool was not functioning. So basically we just showered and left for a concert and slept for a few hour before leaving. Real bad experience I hope they work on it.

Property was not clean properly. There was no ashtrays in the room. There was no remote for the TV and the TV did not work. The door would not properly close easily it will get stuck on the door jam. The breakfast was cold. They didn’t have very much of a variety. It was too crowded and the staff front desk was very very rude when the issue with the TV was brought up to them. I don’t suggest I will look somewhere else and pay a little bit extra to have a cleaner room and a friendlier staff.

There was no remote to turn the channels or the volume up on the TV once the TV was turned on it was broken. There’s no picture only sound. There was no ashtrays in the room and it was a smoking room. The door would not close automatically on its own will get stuck on the door jam.

So the staff was okay, but I only talked to them a bit. I only stayed here one night, and it was still a bad experience. Every towel and sheet was stained. I got in first time with no issues, forgot something in my car, and on my way back my card just stopped working. My car was right outside, but I never felt safe where it was. Wouldn’t recommend for even one night.

When we arrived we were put on the second floor. When we got into the room there was animal hair and stains on the bed (sheets, pillows and comforter), there was hair in sink and all over the toilet, and the coffee cups had lipstick marks on them. To top it all off, there was no microwave and the mini fridge didn’t work.
We went downstairs and asked to be moved, the gentleman at the counter was like a deer in headlights, we didn’t receive an apology nor did he show any remorse for the state of the room. Our second room was downstairs, it was okay but the mini fridge still did not work, the couch and chair in there were stain city and the AC unit was broken so it was constantly running.
Not the safest location either. Would not stay here again.

everything was fine except for the staff when I made a wrong reservation online for the wrong day on accident and I didn't get to stay they came in and asked to help me out with my room help me moving out and they actually took two bags from me and they either threw him away or kept them I don't know but that wasn't nice and it wasn't it pleasant experience and older probably 45 to 55 years old not sure of her name it was a really weird experience to have somebody come in there and adult that work there and take a couple of your bags out with stuff in it that you needed just for making a wrong graduation on my it was funny it was supposed to be for the 7th through the 8th but I mistaken and thought that's what it said it wasn't so I don't know they got really upset and kicked me up and then they did that afterwards just because I did but I need glasses and I didn't have them so that's why I made a mistake okay okay

The room was unclean. When we could not get the door open, we had the night staff get it open for us. The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. There were hairs on the sheets. There were also what google lens identified as possible bed bugs on the sheets. Behind the bed, where we needed to plug in our phones had candy and trash. There was one rag for two adults. I would have left that night if it was not so late when I arrived (12am), and there had been available rooms in town.

I had asked for a non-smoking room, and I received a smoking room. When I checked in the person checking us in said there would be an additional fee to change even though I had originally requested a non-smoking room. I was not paying the additional fee, so the room assigned was missing most of the amenities, including towels. The clerk did change our room that was a little better. The clerk also charged us a fee which he said would be refunded but I have not received my refund. The breakfast was eggs and biscuits which had been there for a long time because they were hard. As we left the breakfast area the cook did bring in fresh eggs and biscuits. I have stayed in several other Days Inns, but this one has been the worse experience we have had. Maybe you should have someone check out the hotels before you endorse them.

STAY TF AWAY. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. Definitely a CRACK HOTEL. Went for Tech family weekend to see my college student. Only place that didn’t gouge prices. You get what you pay for. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Old, dirty & run down. Non-smoking room smelled like a smoker’s home. Shower did not work. Could only use the tub. Complained to manager about tub, said maintenance would look at it. WRONG. Breakfast was crap.

Air conditioner didn’t work and we didn’t discover this fact until after we fell asleep!! Woke up to the room 80 degrees!!!! Had to leave early for a flight so we just dealt with it. Went to check out and then complain but the man behind the counter just looked up at me from his seat in the corner of the front office and then went back to playing some game on his phone!!! The room smelled like marijuana when we arrived. There were no towels. They said we would not get towels until 10 or 11 the next day because housekeeping left for the day. I said check out was 11 so we can’t shower so they went into another room with a couch that looked like a private room to give me towels. When we went to sleep, there was a red stain on the white blanket that was rather large. We slept without it. Hair was in the shower. I asked them if they had cleaned our room since there were no towels and it smelled of marijuana and they said yes which clearly wasn’t true. The door lock would jam. They still haven’t credited my deposit and it has been 4 days. The pool looked cloudy. The tv wouldn’t change channels. There were sheets you could see through because they were so worn down. Almost no outlets. It was a disaster. Complete nightmare.

I don't normally give a bad review maybe disappointment but this days inn and another one I found in the Lubbock TX area was ghetto. The smell of old building and mildew. Very questionable. These hotels owned by middle east Indians do not take care of their businesses. They fix things themselves or hire cheap labor. Dirty carpet, plumbing problems, roof and water damage. City should inspect for update codes and health inspection as well as fire inspection. Never again will I ever stay at these hotels.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There were zero towels, shampoo, conditioner, or soap in my room at check in. Took 2 hours to get towels. The tv remote was so sticky it didn’t work. My room was right next to a room that had the window busted out and glass shards were everywhere. There was a huge gap under my room door that led directly to the outside. A large rat could have fit through. The exercise room was out of order. The pool/hot tub was closed. The only ice maker in the whole hotel was broken. Zero water pressure in shower. The breakfast only included waffles, eggs and biscuits. Nothing else. Coffee was empty. And the rate was $180 per night. Ridiculous.

Although the entrance to the hotel and pool area seem nice, the hotel room itself was average. The toilet ran the whole time after being flushed until we'd jiggle it. While sleeping, some other guests must have been up smoking weed because our room and all our belongings were penetrated with the smell. And I was unable to sleep due to the smell from like 5-730am.

The rooms were decent given the price paid for them, however getting into the room was another story. I have never had to fight nor hip check a door so hard to get it to open before. When mentioned to the staff they seemed to know and indicated management is aware but hasn't done anything to fix it.

Checked in and emediately noticed a towel shortage so they gave us some towels than headed to daughters house upon arriving back at the hotel ready to get some rest upon climbing into bed found poop on the sheets under the bedspread and headed to the office but no one was around wound up sleeping on top of the bedspread or trying to sleep anyways figured it was obvious that the room wasn’t cleaned before allowing us to stay the next day invited our grand daughter to come over to swim as the hotel had a pool n hot tub but when we went hot tub was cold and didn’t work noticed the pool had what looked like poop in the bottom of it so didn’t get to enjoy either was promised they would reimburse us for night one but still haven’t seen the credit for that been 2 weeks so far since we were there would not recommend any one to stay there very disappointed here

Our room was outside 2nd floor as we were walking a guy came out of his room asked us what our room # was. Confused we told him and he said pretty certain “No, your room is inside”. My son saw the room and the window was broken and it looked like someone was in there. We left immediately asked the lady in the front to cancel we were not staying and she said we had to cancel with Expedia Ava someone would call her with instructions. We left reached out to whoever via Expedia and never heard back. Was charged for all three nights. Horrible experience.

Let's get this adventure started in this hooptie motel. I booked a week before our first annual father n son fishing trip ( should of read the reviews ). When we got there to check in, we were giving 121 down stairs next to the office. Key card and readers barely worked. Finally got it to work, and as soon as we walked in smelled like some just smoked 2 cartons of cigarettes. Went and talked to the lady and told her that. So she switched my room to 131 and we went ok. Half the lights didn't work, big stain in the middle of the room. We tried to turn on the a/c ( with wires sticking out of it, made damn sure not to touch them ) but it kept resetting it self, so I unplugged it to see what's going on, and low and behold the plug was burned up ( burn marks all over it, and it was still plugged in) I left it unplugged and took a picture, and back to the office again, told her and showed the picture and said that's not gonna work. So we got room 133. It was a little better, but not much. The refrigerator didn't work, beds had to of been 15-20 yours old. Not comfortable at all. The a/c worked unless you turned below 70 then good luck. Only gave one big towel n two little towels. There was a red stay on the head board, told my son that's your hed. Lol. The door to go out to the car, the whole key card reader broke, so anyone can come in! Not safe. There is only one trash can in the whole room. There cheap, try putting more than one. If you don't have to, don't book at this motel!!!!
