Excellent accommodation
Jeff
The hotel and staff were great.
I am confused by the booking. The hotel did not have our reservation, I had confirmation from Expedia and the itn #. No worries they had a room. My confusion is in the booking. I believe the rate should have been less than what I was billed. My notes say

Sink dripped very loudly. Had charges that I didn’t make on my card. But the hotel was very nice, music was great, vibe was a 10.

carron
Super cute vibe! Loved the country music playing outside!
Bryan
Parking was a little tough finding a spot, however this place was amazing! Courtyard had plenty of areas to sit, relax and enjoy with friends. Pool was clean and refreshing. Restaurant and Bar was great! An added feature was live music on Saturday night that we were not aware of. We enjoyed so much, we have booked to stay again. Rooms were clean fresh and relaxing!
Edilia
Loved the live music and relaxing pool
Mona
Great stay!
Constance
This place truly feels like a well-kept secret in Lubbock, perfect for families looking to relax and enjoy. The staff are warm and welcoming, and you'll find clean, spacious rooms to unwind in. There's a lovely restaurant on site, plus live music and local wines to add to your experience. The people here are genuinely friendly, making it easy to feel at home. It's hard to find words that fully capture how special this spot is. Make your next reservation here—you’re sure to have a fantastic stay!
Wes
A beautiful site, we enjoyed listening to the live music from the rocking chairs in front of our room.
Nancy
A fun hotel, lots of activities for kids and families.
Sean
The layout of the property is extremely nice. The rooms are also great, especially the bathrooms. The shower is very high pressure and amazing. They have cornhole and some fire pits, which is far better than a typical hotel lobby.
Restaurant is okay. Long wait for a table on Fridays. Pizza uses sun dried tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes. Pasta was undercooked... not al dente. I feel like they were rushed on a very busy Friday.
Fridays had live music, too, but I can't say it was my favorite. However, I think the pool should stay open if live music is still playing. They close the pool promptly at 9pm.
There are a LOT of kids around. 12 year olds and toddlers were everywhere, so probably not ideal for older couples of people wanting to relax.
Parking lot was full on a Friday night... Even for guests. They have a free valet, but if you don't want to do that then you might have to park at a nearby property.
TV seemed okay, but riddled with pay-per-view ads.
The worst part is maintenance. The door looks are horrible. They either don't work at all or very difficult to open. They had to switch our rooms and they both sucked.
Inside the room, the power outlets were worn and couldn't hold my power block.
Overall, I think it's a very cool place. They just need to increase quality of some of the important things. I think they tried to cheap out and they are paying for it now.

Beautiful property. The full sized Smeg fridge in the room is adorable. The restaurant is great. Only amazing things to say about this place!

Highly recommend if you're in Lubbock
Amanda
Anywhere there is a Valencia property, I will choose to stay there for the unique vibe and amenities! The Cotton Court did not disappoint, and I was happy to check this one off my list!
Eva
Everything was great. I enjoyed my short getaway. No complaints except when we got seated at the restaurant, they forgot about us. But once someone got to us, everything went smooth.
jessica
Great stay for families
Veronica
Execlent stay! 2nd time in a month. Wonderful staff, amazing pool, will be back next month.

Beautiful space and friendly staff!!
Rodd
Room was pretty clean, the sofas and bathrooms could have been better but the bed was clean. Love the refrigerator and freezer, plus the ice bags were super helpful for especially for roadtrips. Restaurant is good nice staff. Can be loud if your room is outside around pool. Great for families though.
Jennifer
This hotel does NOT have any queen beds on their property no matter what hotels.com advertises. We were shocked and uncomfortable sleeping in the beds at this hotel because they are only full sized. There were no other rooms available so two grown adults had to share a full sized bed and slept horribly. Additionally, the beds themselves were very uncomfortable. The theme is cute, the grounds and facilities are very well kept, but they need to invest in better beds. The staff was very nice, they give free beer or water upon check in and they have a great restaurant attached to the hotel with a very nice menu and bar. Pool is nice and bathrooms are pretty big, which is nice. Just make sure the beds are big enough for your guests.
Josh
Cute place. Comfortable. Great stay
Hannah Marie

Amy

Sean
Visiting for the college tour. This was one of the coolest hotels I’ve booked in a long time. We sat outside near a fire pit and played corn hole at night. The staff were the best!
Steven
This is an awesome place! Never an issue here and always very friendly people helping out.
michael
Everything was very nice and convenient. Food was good but pricey. Pool was nice but no shade. Very cool experience

Justin
Room was clean, fridge was stocked, courtyard and pool were full of ways to pass the time (even had a competition-level smoker), and the restaurant was fantastic. Made us a huge fan of the brand.
Amanda

James
Very nice hotel enjoy my day. My staff.
Seleta
This place was very tidy and well staffed. There are really cool fire pits and fireplaces all around the property as well as plenty of other gathering areas. The food at the restaurant was very good the only negative is I should have stayed longer and enjoyed it as a vacation instead of just a business trip
edna
Beautiful property with restaurant/bar onsite. Front desk totally helpful.
Veronica
Check in staff were very friendly, even gave us a complimentary beer. Pool was amazing, court yard very impressive. Loved having a rocking chair outside of our room to relax after a busy day.
Clabe
Love the personality of the property - no plain vanilla at Cotton Court! Staff was friendly and efficient, room was comfy with great amenities.
Sharon
This was a perfect place to stay in Lubbock. Clean, cute & comfortable room. Great grounds. Pool looked amazing. Pet friendly. Helpful staff.
Andrea
We liked the hotel and property- no complaints really. I was charged an extra ~$40, and have no idea why. I didn’t even get emailed a receipt. We used a bottle of water so I expected a $6 charge.
Brenda
Watch out for undisclosed fees on your credit card.
Christian
Loved everything about the hotel! Definitely will go back!
Fara
The room was super clean and so cute!! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Will stay here again soon.
Erin
The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The setup and amenities gave an apartment type vibe. Has a restaurant/bar, outdoor pool, and gym downstairs. Highly recommend.
Michaela
First time & the stay was amazing. Great atmosphere & good food and drinks.
Tom
Comfortable bed, live music in the evening, cold beer at check in - all were great.
Stephen
I was told this was the best hotel in Lubbock and maybe it used to be. The property has not been maintained. Has old dirty carpet that needs to go and be replaced with luxury tile.People with allergies could not stay. Water pressure low in the bathroom and the shower head is not adjustable so although not a deal breaker was annoying. Hotel smelled old in the hallway because of the carpet. Day 2 of our stay one of the elevators stopped working. Could be a nice place if they just update it . Unfortunately we won't stay there again until they make changes. 3/5 for free beer and water when you check in Restaurant attached to the hotel overpriced for what it was. Better choices for the same money in and around Lubbock
Misty
Great hotel and property. Would definitely stay there again!
Callie
Such a cool hotel! Loved everything about it.
Rocio
Had a wonderful stay with very friendly staff. The outdoor scenery was beautiful, offering a relaxing area, swimming pool, and a bar with delicious drinks and food. Overall, a fantastic experience!
Leo
Water pressure in sink was abysmal, parking if not valet subjects you to park at a parking garage down the street only in the 3rd or 4th floor which at night feels sketchy. Room has fridge chock full of drinks both alcoholic and non but watch the price lol…lastly a small trash can by the toilet is all the room offers for waste so be mindful of to go food oh, and no microwave in the room.
Chris
This was really nice, however, we got there at 6 PM and our room was not ready so there was a little bit of drama at the time. But we went to their restaurant and had a very nice dinner.
David
Wonderful staff. Professional and very friendly. Clean spacious room. Nice outdoor area. Wonderful restaurant on site.
Nestor
Nice rustic hotel in lubbock
Mackenzie
Gorgeous property, polite staff, 10/10 stay!
Allison
Asked for extra pillows twice and never got them. Ordered room service and had to go down and get it myself. I had an almost full bottle of wine that disappeared while my room was cleaned.
Kim
The hotel is very close to Texas Tech University and close to all the eating areas around there. We liked that is has it’s own restaurant on the property. The food and drinks were delicious. Our room was super clean and well stocked.
Karen
Loved everything about this hotel. Unique spaces both inside and outside. Food at restaurant was yummy!
Jeree
Amazing place. Great atmosphere.
Laurie
Cotton Court is such a great place to stay in Lubbock. The rooms are unique and fun, the grounds and rooms are immaculate, and having the restaurant right there is the icing on the cake! I will definitely stay there again.
Jamie
Amazing property and fun outdoor area. The restaurant was great and had live music. Rooms were clean and fully stocked with refreshments.
Saul
2nd time staying here. Love the cleanliness and staff
Allison
Staff was a bit standoffish at check-in. We felt like we received a “less than” greeting since we’d booked through a 3rd party. The staff member told us due to “the type of booking,” we weren’t eligible to PAY for an early check in. This was at 2:30. Official check in was at 3.
30 minutes later when the magical time hit, we were informed of the $18 amenities fee. Fire pits were off due to high winds and the pool was busy with college students who came and went while we were there. Grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed cornhole and the pool, but it seemed weird to pay to use all of it when restaurant customers and local students could do the same for free.
I realized later that I’d left my sunglasses downstairs. When my husband went to the front desk to ask if they’d been turned in, the gentleman he asked shrugged his shoulders without even faking an effort to look for them and said “not to my knowledge.”
The room was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the property was lovely….but we won’t be back because of the sub par service. We were so excited to stay there but were let down.

Veronica
Well, it was perfect. Friendly when you walk up, and check in, with a complementary beer or water. Fancy amazing dinner next door, bar stays open late. Rooms, beds, and bathrooms very comfortable. If you don’t mind paying a bit extra, this worth it.
Audrey
We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful courtyard next to the fire and just spending time visiting. The room was lovely and clean and the staff were very kind.
Melinda
I stay here regularly and always a solid option!
Melinda

Fabulous!
Arlene
All was great
Blake
The fires in courtyard create a lot of smoke in the room. Very uncomfortable! Also the showerhead in #113 is very uncomfortable. Likes pins sticking you. Needs adjustment.
Bradley
All good except the shower didn’t work.
brandon
Atmosphere is top notch and the design is comfortable, yet modern.
George
GREAT BAR AND POOL! ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE!!
Byron
Clean and fun environment.
valrie
I didn’t use any of the amenities. Me and my husband got weird looks the moment we walked in the door. We felt really out of place. I think it was a race issue. We stayed in our room the whole time we were there unless we left the property.
Lisa
Nice comfortable room. Attentive staff
DAVID
I didn’t fully understand that I was not reserving a room in the main building.
raul
They need better parking near hotel

Excellent service! The room was very comfortable!

We've stated here multiple times & this was the worst stay. When we arrived to our room, there were zero drinks/snacks available. We went to the restaurant & let the front desk girl know & her response is that sometimes they do that if there are under age kids staying there. No problem, but I would think they might go restock it but that didn't happen. The next day, we were out for the majority of the day & when we returned, it still hadn't been restocked & housekeeping hadn't been in our room. I then showered & the water stopped almost to a dribble 5 mins in? I've definitely had better experiences during previous stays. I hope this hotel isn't going downhill because the atmosphere/vibe is really great!
Sherri
We stayed one night and everything was wonderful! We live in the area and often go to the restaurant, Midnight Shift for drinks or dinner and sit outside in the courtyard area. However, all of the rooms face the courtyard, and noise stays in the courtyard. We had some people enjoying the courtyard loudly after usually quiet hours of 10 pm. The enclosed space keeps the noise amplified and if you are a light sleeper you will hear everything! Things finally quieted by midnight or so. But we enjoyed everything!
Katie
Love this hotel. Staff is amazing, rooms are great. We stayed off of the courtyard this time, we’d rather be where the action in, but room was quiet.
Greg
EVERYTHING was great, the staff, the room, the food, they make you feel like family.
Andrew
Did get the room i paid for on expedia, and they blaimed expedia, but i think they really just don't know how to manage inventory. then i got billed for minibar stuff which i never even touched and my minibar fridge was locked. When i called to get that fixed, the person on the phone took an attitude with me after telling her about my experience.
William
Room was great for my one night stay for a business trip. Gym was a plus!
Dennis
The staff was beyond great, at every point of contact. Friendly, helpful, attentive, and smiling, too!
Kaitlyn
Staff was great, so nice and very accommodating! Hotel was clean-ish. The carpets could use a good shampoo and our rooms tables were dirty like they forgot to wipe down but no biggy. Room decor, set up and bathroom were sooo cute! Beds were hard and walls were paper thin. We were up by 6 because we could hear the baby crying next door and people talking. Adorable courtyard. Great location. Parking is hard and valet is a $$ fee. There’s a bar/restaurant next door that I think takes up some of the parking and that was frustrating. Had to use a valet at 10pm. Overall this hotel is good. Not sure we will stay here again. But wouldn’t mind if we had to. We come to Lubbock a lot so might try a few other before deciding.
