The bar was the best thing about the stay. The bar tender was very nice. Although the older lady working at the front desk was very rude at check in and through out my stay with them. I asked and paid for a king room with a kitchenette but she rudely gave me a standard king room. I will never stay there again!

This is a no-frills hotel. The room was clean enough, but not fantastic. Loud A/C window unit. Towels and toiletries were limited in number, and room service was sparse during our 4-night stay. Breakfast was mediocre, serving the same fare each day and often running out of items at the end. Not sure if there was a shortage on plastic cups, silverware, and plates/bowls, but the staff was certainly stingy on putting them out for guests and promptly removed what was there at 9:30am sharp! The location was very convenient to TX Tech University and the hospitals. There were several restaurants within walking distance. If you don't need more than a place to lay down and a shower, this is an okay place to stay for a night. We did not care to visit the bar, but it appeared to be well-frequented by an older crowd and was not loud.

Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The property is dated and definitely shows signs of age and cosmetic issues, but it was a great stay for the price. It's very convenient to shopping (Dollar Tree is right next door) and restaurants. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and very hardworking. B+

Both queen beds had cigarette burns in the bedding. One of the beds had a stain on the sheet that looked like it was blood. The pool was attractive in need of paint. The location was conveniently located near Texas Tech. UBER rides were under $10.

The motel might not look that. Nice, but the bed was EXTREMELY comfortable! Also, the air conditioner worked great in the room, so those are the two most important things! The owner said they just got brand new mattresses. Would definitely stay there again.

I understand this is an older hotel, but could use better housekeeping. Very dusty the pool was dirty, as well light fixtures and faux plants in dining , and glass doors. The lady overseeing breakfast was rude. The plastic utensils were placed incorrectly. I saw her wipe tables with same rag , the crumble on tables ended up on the floor. I chose this hotel for location and price but no excuse for the condition. Again my opinion

Attendant at breakfast was watching like a hawk. Couldn't eat comfortable and she limited us. The pool was very pretty but not cleaned. The room was decent but not thoroughly cleaned. We also asked for towels and the attendant said we had to wait for our rooms to be cleaned later that day.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room had a strong smell of both marijuana and cigarette smoke, which was especially concerning because my sister has asthma and it made it difficult for her to breathe comfortably.

The cleanliness of the room was also unacceptable. There were stains on the blankets, makeup marks on the bedding, what appeared to be dried boogers on the wall, and a brown smudge on one of the pillows. The room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before our arrival.

In addition, the staff was not friendly or welcoming when we raised concerns. Overall, the condition of the room and the lack of customer service made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

If you like hard beds then the beds are good, Air conditioner was good but after traveling from out of town for a soccer tournament and finding out the outdoor pool is seasonal, keep in mind it's June 1st and 100 degrees, and it's closed kinda sucked for the kids but other that it was good for the price.

Pool closed for some reason. It looked nice outside my window. My mom here in Lubbock used to say when it’s 80* outside its pool weather. Your sign says is not pool season. That seems wrong in this hot state of Texas above 80*. A few design repairs could make things look like this is a nice place. When there are a few dings that look broken it just seems a lil bit shabby. The bathtub was dirty when getting to the room. There was some small trash outdoors in the parking lot. The basic buffet was put out with plenty, but when you bite into cold hard potatoes you know they were stuck in the serving platter straight from the frozen package to the warming platter without actually being cooked. I could have used more choices for protein instead of pork sausage, but that’s just me since I’m allergic to pork. I did have the powder cooked eggs but, nobody thinks of other protein/meat choices instead of pork in the hotel buffet business.
The bed was a standard pillow top bed that all the hotels are making the mistake of using. There are people like me who have to have a hard sturdy firm mattress to sleep in for our kind of back that needs that for our health.
If some of these small changes could be made in any hotels I think they all could be brought up a notch!

The room was clean, a nice size, and had enough outlets. The only thing to be aware of is that unlike what seems to be the norm at other places now, the shower didn't have shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers. This is as of 5/2026, so it could change. It did have a tiny bottle each or shampoo and conditioner, but when I say tiny, I mean REALLY tiny. As in one use. Still nice hotel, great location (for me anyway) and friendly staff. I didn't use the included breakfast, nor did I even see it, but they do have a waffle machine if that's your thing.

This was the most misrepresentation of a hotel I have ever experienced. My wife and I have not had a night off in two years. I was so excited to get away to a nice hotel. We were late getting in and I should have left and went and slept in the car. Needless to so intimacy wasn’t happening. We slept in our clothes and my wife even Waller her pillow in her hoodie. The pool was actually full of moss and dirt I have pictures but no where to post. The rating and pics said 7.8 should be a 2 and say do not stay. The only reason a man should bring his wife here. He plans on serving divorce papers and leaving her there. Yes it is that bad. This is the first time in 50 years I have left a negative review.

My wife is confined to a wheelchair, I had booked a handicap accessible room. The room they gave me was not accessible. They told me there was no more rooms of any kind. Not what I expect at $499/ room. I will stick to Marriott or Hilton. Bye bye Worst Western!

Excellent stay, would definitely stay here again. The staff was excellent, very friendly. The pet fee was great, not overly charged as other places are. We forgot a cell phone and the staff quickly called us to notify us for pick up; which was great because imgine being miles away and having to come back for it. We even got a complementary drink form their Lounge. The "hot breakfast" was good too. I'm extremely happy with the stay. Would definitely recommend.

WARNING: BED BUGS! Building was very worn and dirty. It's located in a bad neighborhood. Loud smoking neighbors. Breakfast was cold and flavorless. Found roaches in room. Worst of all, I found BED BUGS on the bedding after staying a couple nights. Which made for a hassle upon returning home and having to quarantine all my belongings and heat treating them. AVOID THIS PLACE!

The manager was very accommodating. We were in town due to an emergency. Our plans were 2 days but things changed and need to extend our stay. I returned later after checking out, told the manager we needed to extend the stay he got us back in the same room and early so we didn’t have to wait. He is a very nice man.

When we got into our room we found numerous live bugs and dead bugs. The bathroom floor and all other surfaces in the room had not been cleaned properly. Spider webs between the beds and nightstand. We decided to find somewhere else to stay and we have not heard back from management on a refund. I would not recommend staying here.
