The room was filthy! Spider webs from the light, water dripping down the wall, sticky kitchen floor, stains on the pillow, mold in the shower, dirty vents. We even had a missing light in the bathroom and had to use our phone flashlight. We checked out and got immediately!
Misty
Big, clean room. Great staff.

Frederick
Full size refrigerator. Staff was outstanding and very helpful
David
We had a pleasant stay. The room was fine and breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and close to Texas Tech.
Gilberto
Thanks for a wonderful stay…everything was wonderful, I’m staying here again and again.
Lance
Booked a King bed, opened the door to two doubles. Called front desk, he claimed they were full (!, probably 20% full, an outright lie). Also tv did not work in the bedroom and couldn’t shut drapes all the way, so plenty of light in the room as we tried to sleep. Will NEVER stay there again.
Deanna
It was a great stay until the day we left. They were having construction and shut down the elevator. If we had been notified that it was happening, we would have adjusted our time. There were other minor things that made it frustrating. But the facility was nice.
Reide
Rooms exceptionally clean. Staff super helpful. Breakfast choices were amazing! Thanks for a great stay!
Heather
Every thing was good except house keeping did not clean our room once while we were there we did get clean towels though when we asked
Michael
Very clean and staff freandly
David
Very friendly staff. The rooms were large and had very nice amenities. Great breakfast selections. Ample parking.
Susana
I love it I will come back
Sandra
Clean, great location. Comfortable room. Customer service (Emily) was absolutely amazing; friendly and accommodating!!
Bobby
Check in was great, this was our 2nd stay and the front desk receptionist had been great both times. I believe her name was Jessica. Only complaints are the bedroom closet door was missing a knob and kind of hard to open. there was only 1 fork with the dishes they have in the room and there were no big bowls and just small ones. Breakfast was good, hotel was clean. Other than the small easy fixes we love this hotel when we’re in Lubbock.
Tonilou
The room was clean & quiet.
Shawn
The stay was ok. The property is starting to show its age. The ACs were struggling to function. Our room was 79 degrees and maintenance did the best they could but also admitted that the property is just starting to get old. Breakfast was great and had a good selection to choose from.
Andrea
Room was clean, place was nice, would definitely stay here again
Vanessa
Clean and friendly staff.
Jessica
The cabinets had alot of sugar ants everywhere throughout. Found hair in sheets so we didnt use them. Tub and shower leaked. We were placed in the smallest room. Definitely not our favorite stay.

We stayed for 2 nights. We always stayed at hiltons specifically homewood suites. But this time our experience was horrible. Room heater is not working. I called front desk twice , they said it’s just the battery and left. We freeze to death 54 F with cool air blowing with my little children crying . Addition to that with a water heater is not working as well. Door is not closing but they fix it. Manager said she will look on it and she never did. I don’t or never post negative things but this time it’s disappointed us.

Luis
Great staff. Jessica was really helpful for the check in.

Breakfast items were initially dry but when the server replaced them they were nice and fresh. It did take a long time for fresh food to be put out. The rooms were clean and fresh. It is an older hotel so bathroom fixtures were aged and you could see doors and floor borders etc were very beat up. But despite the evedenc forage everything was ver clean and linens were fresh.
Robert
Super clean breakfast buffet was awesome. I will stay here again if ever I’m in the area.

we love the food main reason we stay here
Alvin
The bathroom had hair in the tub, and the A/C took a long time to cool the room down. Also, the refrigerator wasn't that cold it was cool. The pool was closed for the season, but it doesn't say on the website.
Brandon
Breakfast fresh, staff great and friendly there. Definitely will be back, room was clean and orderly, bed comfy.
Jonathan
Overall Honewood Suites was a great place for an extended stay. The property is slightly dated, but was informed by management that they are due for a remodel soon, so that should be taken care of. Breakfast was great. Service was friendly, and the property as well as our room was clean.
The only feedback I have are 1. Replace the beds. They are hard as a rock as well as old. The sleep quality was well below what I have had at other homewood suites locations.
2. In room coffee - the coffee machine while cheap is ineffective and the inroom coffee is for lack or better words atrocious. Most consumers utilize K Cups and even a single serving Keurig would go far. Granted, additional expense, but better reviews and customer satisfaction. Secure the Keurig or bill it if it goes missing and I have no other complaints.

Older property that has not been updated in many years. The bed was atrocious. The condition of the mattress was poor and very uncomfortable. The shower diverter did not function properly in addition to poor drainage equated to low water pressure and standing in several inches of water.
Anthony
Everything was great the only thing I would say was not as great was the hot water. The water was barely warm enough to shower.
Neila
Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent variety of hot breakfast foods and healthy choices.
Chris
Super friendly and accommodating. Room was really nice and clean. Would stay there again.
Erin
Great check in and quick service for blankets.
Jed
Clean, comfortable room with an excellent a/c that kept us cold all night! The breakfast had a wider variety of food choices than any other hotel offers.
ramona
Everything was great! The bed was too soft for my taste but I’m used to a firm mattress.
Vickie
Everything nice and clean. Rooms are big. Breakfast could be different. Not that desirable, no choice of fruit only oranges,
Latasha
Customer service was good and it was clean
Yvonne
It was clean, very roomy.

Cleaning and TV Needs Upgrade
We stayed for three nights. Housekeeping never properly cleaned our room, even after two requests, they only changed towels and made the bed, leaving the bathroom untouched. Also, the TV is very outdated and cannot connect to the internet, so you can’t use Netflix or other streaming services. Overall stay was okay, but cleanliness and TV need serious improvement.

We have used Homewood suites for two different trips now, and we will continue using them. Their staff is pleasant and happy to serve. Their breakfasts are amazing. The rooms are great with the little kitchens and plenty of space. Looking forward to our next trip there.
Joe
Love it the employees very friendly and amazing good breakfast
Jeanette
2 night stay.
The air conditioning was not working. We could not get into the pool, the door to the pool would not open. The tub in the bathroom was dirty. The doors did not shut properly.
Beverlee
It was very comfortable

The stay was okay. This property needs better televisions and blackout curtains. I had to reset the tv every night and it was really bright early in the morning.
check-in was difficult because Expedia added a 3 pet reservation and fee's. I had booked 3 rooms separately, in 3 different names, but Expedia attached to MY one room. We did have 1 small dog-in my daughter's room-a totally separate room. The hotel was so helpful in correcting the situation.

Book This Hotel Right Meow!
Friendly and spacious atmosphere, great breakfast, and the wifi was fast. Booked a standard room but the bedroom was separated by a wide doorway so it felt like a mini suite, with a small kitchen and living room. Will definitely stay here again!

Front desk clerk (Jazmine) who checked us in was very nice and helpful. One of the TVs wasn’t working correctly so she moved us into another room. Hotel was very clean, workers were very nice. Breakfast was good, check in and check out were very easy. Location was great as was the area around it. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit our daughter in Lubbock.
Alesia
Location was in a nice area and the breakfast was as good as going to a restaurant. Enjoyed having lots of room in the suites as well.

We won't be staying there again.
The room smelled like someone had chainsmoked cheap cigarettes in there for 10 years. Not fresh smoke, that stale, soaked into the carpet & the walls smell.
The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The sofa pull-out bed was like it had been dropped off a roof. Without a doubt one of the worst complimentary breakfasts we've had, even for a cheap hotel. It was so bad that even after hours of being in the room you could still smell it. At one point it woke me up.

Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly. Anna was quite helpful with upgrading our accommodations to 2 bedroom suites (what we requested in our reservation) when Expedia reserved us a double queen room instead, at no additional charge. We were able to utilize a late checkout, which was much appreciated!
Michele
Everything was very clean and in good working condition in my room. The employees I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice stay
My sister and I traveled to Lubbock for a funeral. I booked at this hotel for a 2 night stay. Check in was great and the property was clean.
Our room was was nice and roomy and clean. All in all our stay was good. The only things we had issue with our stay was things that should never been an issue in such a nice hotel.
1: blow dryer would not turn off or adjust.
2: toilet was so extremely low to the floor which made it extremely difficult and dangerous for us to use.
3: refrigerator door opened to the wrong direction making it hard to put items in it because of the table in front of it.
Other than those things, the stay was fine.
I do want to mention that the front desk people were very friendly and helpful. No matter what time or how busy they were, they always had a great attitude and were very helpful. It was refreshing to go somewhere and not feel like we were imposing. Or that they wished we would go away so they could go back to their phones. The staff was very professional and pleasant.

Toilet wasn’t working , hotel staff came and plunge it . They also left the plunger and told us to plunge as needed . Which we tried . Ended up using bathroom down stairs. The sheets on bed has dark stuff like someone had just laid on them. Over all experience wasn’t great .
Chrystal
Thanks
Priscilla
I really appreciate how they let me check in early and how spacious and affordable the room was.
Susan
Breakfast was good. Plenty of options to choose from. With my experience the day and night shift front desk were all pleasant.
Luis
Cold water and shower and very low pressure room
We stayed in room 416 and the water was cold. We were going to tell the front desk, but we were in a hurry to make it to my daughter’s volleyball competition. We’ve stayed here before with no problems, but we hated the cold showers. It was really cold outside so that didn’t help either. Other than that, The breakfast is really good.
