The bathroom obviously wasn't cleaned. Their was poop on the floor in 2 areas as well as pubic hair in the bathtub. Very disappointed.
I have a video. Not sure it's going to let me share.

Good rates. Overall it's clean and quiet. Staff is very helpful!!
Michael
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not do breakfast in bed, but it was a good concept.
Linda
The front office personnel was very nice and happy to help with anything.
Kristine
Really nice all around! Nice big grassy area outside for walking the dogs, extremely clean, feels safe, SUPER comfortable beds, soft towels, full fridge, microwave, and even stove top/hot plate; full size coffee maker in room but no provided coffee (but good coffee available in little lounge room). Staff was very nice and clearly making big efforts to welcome and accomodate guests.
Heather
This was a nice budget, friendly hotel that was located an easy access area
Tiffany
We had called ahead to inform the hotel we would be a very late check in, when we arrived at the property the front desk attendant said she was expecting us and already had our room pulled up and ready for us to finish the check in. She did have to apologize for elevators being broken but someone was there servicing them and trying to get them fixed. Other than the unforeseen elevator problem our stay was great. Room was clean, beds were comfy and quiet.
Shelley
Nothing fancy but always clean and friendly.
John
Melissa at the front desk was great. Hotel is in great shape. The room smelled a little funny but I think it is whatever they use to clean. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. Pillows were good. Overall great stay for the price.
Jeremy
I booked this for son and his wife, they said it clean and acceptable
Roy
Front Desk concierge (lady w/ nose ring)was great !
Jerry
I thought the parking was expensive but I'm sure that's expected for San Antonio. The staff was absolutely amazing!
Carrol
The hotel was okay, I have 3 major complaints. First and most significantly is the price gouging. Our rate for Tuesday was $94, but jumped to $339 for Friday night for the same room due to Tech graduation. This is a Ridiculous ripoff!!! Second, the hotel has NO ice machine. Ice is ONLY available via the ice maker in the fridge. It was empty when we entered the room, and it took 5 hours for the first batch of 10 cubes to drop. Thus we had to buy ice in order to have ice. Third, while the rooms are plenty large enough, they only have queen beds. A king bed would be much appreciated. Again, the main complaint is the OUTRAGEOUS price gouging.

Checkin was easy. Parking good. The room was very clean and spacious. Kitchenette sink faucet could use some tightening. Staff always goes above and beyond to help and make us feel welcome. Coffee is always hot and good. Will stay again.
Gary

Very clean and very convenient drive to Texas Tech. Staff were super friendly and helpful
Kara
This hotel was exactly what i needed. The staff were super helpful and pleasant to talk to.
The onyl issue i had was someone on the above floor was incredibly loud, it sounded as if there were elephants making as much noise as they possibly could

Very clean, nice hotel. Quiet surroundings. Very nice for the price as well. Will definitely book again if back in Lubbock.

I would not recommend this hotel to friends or acquaintances. Although it may be acceptable for some travelers, I do not believe the property merits the 8.8 rating shown on Hotels.com. Based on my experience, the accommodations and overall experience did not meet those expectations.
jenny
Staff was super friendly.
Jessica
Nice and comfortable
Jazmine
Rooms near elevator is rough to sleep in do to every noise that could possible be heard was heard all night. Freeze ice machine smelled bad. And no other place to get ice from.
Nancy
Our room was very clean and we enjoyed the full sized coffee pot and large refrigerator. There is a stove to prepare a breakfast because no \"free\" breakfast is provided. But, this is reflected in the lower fee for the room. Be sure to bring a pan if you intend to cook and paper plates/plastic forks.
JESSICA
Room was clean, kitchen looks like it has not been used
Eric
Room is clean. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was clean. Will be a place. I will be staying again.
Kimmi
We stayed at My Place for the George Strait concert weekend. The hotel was clean and very quiet. Our beds were very comfortable.
James
There were no pots, pans, plates, or utensils for cooking and eating. There was no couch or recliner for additional seating. The mattress seemed old and made noise when changing positions in bed. Other items seemed adequate. My stay was one night and did not cook or spend much time in the room. If my stay had been longer these deficiencies would have been more unpleasant.
Shawn
Nice friendly staff. This is a budget hotel but the room was clean and we felt safe. Only place to eat within walking distance is Bombshells. Staff basically has their ass hanging out. Burger theory is also close but we didn’t eat there. It did what we needed it to do. The bed was the only thing we didn’t care for. Was not comfy and I think the frame may have been broken because we kept rolling into the middle of the mattress.

These rooms are large and clean with kitchens. The kitchens aren't stocked but everything you need is available to check out at the front desk. The refrigerators have ice makers in them, so you dont have to leave the room to get ice.
Gerard
This was my first time staying at My Place. They are uniquely different from other hotels in the area. It was perfect for my trip and pet. Melissa was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She made sure that I was familiar with the property and enjoyed my stay. I did enjoy the ‘breakfast in bed’ option, but wished they had pricing along with signage. Other than that, it was a perfect experience.
Cory
First time to stay at this chain. Very clean rooms and facility. Soft beds and fluffy pillows. They have a breakfast that you pay for separately and they bring it to your room.
Clarice
The property was way to find. Very clean. The staff was friendly & helpful!
Lacee
Melissa at the front desk was awesome!!
Rhonda
Clean room. Staff is great!!
Bozena
Easy parking, but the place needs some TLC
elsa
Parking was easy, room clean, great customer service. No need for breakfast if they keep the good quality and price low.
Suzanne
Rooms clean staff very nice
Jared
They have the old-school air conditioners that can get lower than 66 degrees. That was huge! Room was a little dirty at check-in was the only bad thing. Just needed to be vacuumed better and wiped down in the bathroom better. There was an issue with our bathroom sink, but they fixed it right up fast! Very friendly staff and very helpful!
Evelyn
Check in took 20 mins, because staff was not at desk due to an issue at the hotel. Then my card doesn’t work - went back downstairs waited another 20 mins. The room was not clean. Shower pull would not go up all the way so the shower was half pressure. Dead bugs in the light above the door.
Charles
Melissa was exceptional wanted to take the bed home with me definitely we be back
Gabriela
Great Staff
Gary
Very cllean rooms, great staff and great atmosphere! Give em a try!
Ginger

dwight
Very clean, spacious, loved the kitchen. Melissa was very helpful checking in.
Patricia
Staff was courteous. My only complaint was uncomfortable pillows and loud footsteps above my room.
Christina
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room left a lot to be desired and had maintenance issues. The place is really small.
Betsabe
Another guest entered our room.
Alfredo
The room was kept well, and the front desk clerk operated well under the pressure of a fully booked hotel.

I’ve stayed at My Place Hotel-Lubbock, TX twice now, and both visits have been consistently solid. The amenities are basic, but everything is clean, comfortable, and reliable—exactly what you want from an affordable stay. It’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely choose it again when I’m in the area.
Paul
Staff was outstanding took care of any issues.
Roy
The room was clean, Kitchen was clean, coffee pot in working condition.
james
Nice room, good coffee, great staff!
John
AC/Heat unit was poor. Thermostat seems to not work resulting room being too warm regardless of how low the setting.
Cedric
Room was spacious, clean, and contained plenty of appliances.
Richard
Simple, clean rooms with ample parking at a great price. A few clicks from shopping and dining. Check-in/out were quick and easy. This has become our go-to stop when in Lubbock. There are no breakfast offerings, but for a small fee (7.50) you can have a quick breakfast item delivered to your room. There is also a snack room (credit card only) if you have the evening munchies
brandal
yes great
joseph
Clean rooms, polite, staff, and easy on and off location from the highway
David Chip
Room was great staff very accommodating will stay here again!
Marion
Room was clean and comfortable. This hotel doesn’t provide breakfast in a designated breakfast area. You can order a very limited breakfast which will be delivered to your room. It is an extra charge.
Charles
The room and all facilities were spotless. All staff very courteous.
Derek
This was a last minute booking due to availability on a graduation weekend. The place was well kept, nice rooms. The fact that they have a full on kitchen is huge though. Amenities well stocked, bathroom very nice, bed comfortable. Caleb at the front desk checked us in and was very accommodating, managed to get a laugh out of BOTH my 11 and 12 year olds which was impressive! I tend to judge a place heavily on the front desk check in experience and Caleb was an absolute pro. Good price for the quality considering the other options, would stay again.
Carl
AC/heater kept room cool/warm as desired. Staff was courteous and professional. Great place to stay . . .
Benjamin
Floor was sticky, room smelled foul, stains on the bed, looked like someone had laid on the bed already and every door slammed shut.
james
Easy process. Friendly staff.
Tanya
Conveniently located to the highway and major shopping areas are within 5 miles. Room was nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Although room does not come with plates/ utensils, it was super easy to get some from the front desk. Michelle at the front was very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

Dtaff was great. We showed up at 945 for a 3 pm check in. Showed up early so we could tailgate the Tech game and didnt want to check in late at night. The staff was friendly enough to let us get our keys and leave our things in the room before check in time. Overall super nice people
Gabriel

Property had an excellent rating, but I don’t think it was excellent. It would say it was good at best. No breakfast, bad coffee.
