Subpar for BW. The carpet in our room was soaked from the a/c unit and smelled moldy. The window sills were covered with layers of dust and dirt. The in room coffee had only filters, not the plastic filter holder. The OJ at breakfast was merely orange colored water. Limited choices on creamer. The staff were not dressed professionally. You have other choices for places to stay, not here!

we got to our room with 2 young kids at 10 at night and the AC was out. it was 80° in the room. had to pack up everything and move rooms and then the new room was dirty. crumbs everywhere and a dead bug in the bathroom. not a great experience

Our room had clearly not been cleaned. We asked to have everything refreshed and it was not. We had accidentally left our door open, and even after seeing it themselves and other patrons reported it, no one shut the door. Thankfully nothing was stolen, but found out there were thefts the day before and they still didn’t care to make sure everyone’s room and things were safe. There were water leaks in the hallway. The entire places smelled like mold.

The air-conditioning was out of order in our room, so they moved us to another room. Third floor room and all but one elevator was out of order. The shower head didn't work, and the tub didn't hold water. The bathroom sink was slow draning. The pool was cracked and full of algae. The breakfast was good.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there were lots of options. The pool looked really nice although we did not get a chance to use it. As for the cons. Overall the property was a little run down. The room was really unclean. Looked liked it was not vacuumed in a while. There was a coin and lots of small bits of trash all over the rug (we just kept our shoes on). The bathroom trash can was broken, the shower head did not adjust and sprayed straight back, making it hard to shower, and there was a wad of hair in the corner outside the shower. The sheets on the bed were worn, had holes and stains. The rooms were not soundproof in the least. You can hear everything going on above and outside the door.
I would not stay again.

Yes, room spacious and clean, beds very comfortable.Breakfast menu fresh, staff excellent. Only issue was that caulking im bathroom needs replacing. Building is older, but still basically well kept. Staff keeping common areas very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly.

The only thing saving this review was the the staff were friendly. The lights in my room didn't work and there was no hot water - even after letting the shower run for 30 minutes. I would not stay here again and they should have offered me a refund of some kind for the inconvenience.

I did not like anything when I got to the room. The room it was nice and cool. I left for hour and came back. The room was hot as hell for that rest of that whole day next my toilet broke and they did not fix it or offer me another room. The hallway felt like a fairy furnace. Elevator was nasty from the night before my niece spill it on the floor in someone two days ago when I checked out this morning able to stay there this is the worst hotel I’ve ever been in and I will not ever seek it again and I will be telling all of my family to not to go to this hotel, and I feel very very taken advantage of and no one was there to help. I have to go down to the desk in the lobby to use the bathroom all day yesterday very very upset with this company and I felt like you all should have with me, but I got nothing.

The bed was comfortable and had plenty of cover the way I like it. The Tge entire room was overall clean, but there were some things that bothered me. The tv in the living room area didn't work. Staff was notified, but nothing was done. Our towels weren't replaced after 1st night. There was no toilet paper in the restroom when we arrived. Tge door loop lock (for added security) was broken. There was a pillow that looked to have a blood stain on pillow case. There was no a/c in living room/kitchen area, but I'm not sure if that's the way the room is set up. The elevators were not working well. All the lights and other appliances worked, and the breakfast was great though!

This place once shined a long time ago, you can tell. It’s pretty run down, it’s not fancy so don’t expect it to be. The beds are rough, everything just looks rough. However, I was looking for something wallet friendly. I wasn’t going to be in the room very long, just needed a place to sleep. I stayed here two nights. Beds are rough, pillows are thin, sofa bed was run down. Kitchen had nothing, not even soap so don’t expect it. Sheets were clean, bed was made when I came back, AC worked. Elevators terrified me, they shake and rattle. But the room was clean I didn’t see any mice poop or roaches so that’s a plus. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Overall it filled my needs but I was ready to leave.

A nice property with a few issues. Good competitive prices, however:

1) Three floors and no working ice machines. 1st Floor may have been working until some folks decided their ice chest needed filled. 2nd floor has an area for the ice machine, but there is none. 3rd floor has a broken ice machine.

How about posting a sign that ice chests are not to be filled? How about fixing the inoperative ice machines?

2) the side door sticks and cannot be opened from the outside. It must be opened from the inside and requires some force to do so.

3) One waste basket in the suite, located in the kitchen. The suite also needs one in the bathroom and perhaps one in the bedroom.

4) Whomever designed the toilet area, never bothered to test the pressurized toilet in an enclosed space. The noise is deafening.

It appears that they have started a remodel job but did not complete the job. Public areas looked good. One of our rooms look good but the other room had a sagging bed and no other place to sit other than the bed. There was room for a couch and desk but neither were present. Water pressure in the second room was also lacking due to an old shower head.

My daughter checked in before me on the afternoon and my flight wouldn’t arrive in Lubbock until late in the night and when I arrived The Room #103 given to us had a beep sound that wouldn’t stop, so I requested to change room immediately or we couldn’t sleep but on the new room #127 the bathroom tub was full of rust, the curtain not very clean and the shower was hard to make it work. In the morning, the breakfast buffet out on the lobby had flys all over it. Was going to stay for a couple nights but left in the first morning. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, very poorly managed almost abandoned.

Front elevator makes some scary noises but works well. Convenient location and priced well. Some rooms have balconies overlooking the pool.

Our room was filthy, pubic hair in the shower, opened soap bottles in the shower, & chips in the sink to name a few. When we mentioned this to the front desk at 7:30 in the morning, we told them our 10 month old daughter would need to nap at 9am. We even left the hotel to give them time to clean. We came back at 9:30, plenty of time to have cleaned and no one had came. We were assured someone was coming right up, we waited until 10am & we couldn’t wait any longer, as our daughter had to nap.
We left the hotel around 12pm & finally when we came back at 2pm, our keys no longer worked & we were locked out of our room, so we had to go back to the front and they said ‘oh housekeeping must have cleaned.’ Not sure how that made our keys not work, I’ve never experienced that & I’ve traveled all over the nation. On the bright side, our room had been cleaned— almost 24 hours after being in the room.

The breakfast was ok, coffee didn’t work the first day.
Some type of leak happened on the first floor & they had the industrial blowers and towels all over the floor between the lobby and elevator.

The cleaning was the biggest issue & the lack of urgency to help get it cleaned. My husband ended up cleaning the pubic hair out of the shower.

Would not recommend this place.

I’ll start by saying the staff was great and super helpful and friendly. The hotel needs to be demolished asap. AC didn’t work in first room they gave me, was 87 degrees and smelled horrible. Beds are pure springs, sheets and pillows smelled musty. They switched me to another room that had working AC but machine was loud, bed was rock hard, shower pressure was weak, pool was green and slimy. Saving grace was breakfast was actually decent 👍

The hallway smelled horrible. When you enter the room and turn on the lights half of them do not work. The bathroom is dirty and the fixtures are broken they try to fix them by just repainting them white. Bath tub had mildew and was stained. The heater and air conditioner did not work. Carpet is dirty. Outside doors do not work and they use rocks to leave them open and that lets anyone walk in.

This is the worst suite at a Best Western I have seen in my many years of travel.
Don't expect to have meals using the kitchenette. There is absolutely nothing in it. See my pictures to view the short comings. I was going to stay 4 nights but checked out after the first night. A few of the issues were:
birds living on the balcony with poop all over it. Dead bugs in the ceiling lights. Fans that banged loudly. The safe didn't lock. The towel bar was Scotch taped together and fell apart. The painted tub was peeling and rusty. The toilet seat bolt was broken and the seat slid off.... Three tumbs down👎👎👎

The carpet was not vacuumed and had stains. The kitchenette was useless because there were no dishes, not even plastic glasses for water, or silverware, which I have never seen before in a kitchenette experience. Usually there is enough dishes for one -4 guests.

Our room overlooked the pool, which was very dirty and looked like some of the edging was falling off. We wanted to swim, but decided it was too dirty to risk so did not extend our trip.

The balconies and the pool area were literally covered with pigeon feces. We could not even sit on the balcony because it was so covered in droppings.

In the middle of night a loud noise started coming out of recepticle near the bed, video of which was shown to the front desk. Breakfast was mediocre. I would leave zero stars if i could. I booked 3 rooms for my friends and I. The rooms are in desperate need of an update and a deep cleaning. My room was clean enough for the one night we stayed, my friends was so disgusting it wasn’t reasonable to ask her to stay there, so she left. Its been 3 weeks now that weve been fighting with this hotel and corporate to get a refund for an unused, deplorable room. On top of that, the elevator is bound to break at any second and breakfast quite literally gave my husband and i food poisoning. I will NEVER stay in a best western again after this experience.

The rooms here are not bad, but each time we stay here the bathrooms are terrible. This one had rust spots in the tub and places where the tub appeared to have been patched but the material was coming up. There was a shower head, but we never got water to come out of it. This hotel is fine for a day or two, but the cracks really start to show if you're there for a while. It's relatively well protected from road noise, but the walls are thin enough that you'll hear normal conversations in neighboring rooms. Doors slam easily. A lot of doors in shared spaces get stuck frequently, including stairwell and side entrances/exits.
I don't know what the housekeeping situation is supposed to be, but during my week-long stay, housekeeping came by on the second and third day only. My used towels were not collected either day, and once a cup of water on my bedside table was knocked over and the mess just left there.
There are phones in the rooms, but they're disconnected. It felt like the hotel was updated, but in a way that just covered up small issues instead of addressing them.

The front desk staff is definitely the best thing about this hotel. The front area was very clean. But the elevators were dirty, one of them did not work at all. I had an infestation of ants in my bathroom that was not addressed after asking for someone to clean them up. There was mold in the tub basin. The ants were coming from cracks within the tub basin area. Light fixtures were missing with wires exposed. Mold all over the ceiling, the toilet seat was at least 15 years old. The size of the room was very nice. However, the carpet also smelled moldy. The air-conditioning did not work the first night until six the next morning. I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password and did not get it until the next day. These things should’ve already been provided at check-in. While I typically like best westerns, I will not be returning to this location.

The waffles at breakfast were a blackish-brown color and watery. The eggs were decent and the fruit was fresh. The young lady checking us in needs training in talking to elderly people with trouble hearing. She did not bother standing up to speak face to face so my mother could better understand what she was being asked. The woman attending the lobby counter during breakfast was very loudly scolding someone on the phone (NOT exaggerating)! The elevator floor was dirty and sticky and the table just outside of the elevator on the floor we stayed on was thick with dust. Our bathroom was clean as well as the room we stayed in.

The drain pipe on the bathroom sink fell off but they very quickly fixed it.
The toilet was broken so we had to turn the water supply off and on so we didn’t have to listen to the toilet run nonstop.
The balcony was COVERED in spiderwebs which made sitting on the balcony a bit cringy.
The staff was AMAZING and accommodating.

The property overall was very nice. The only negative, however, was significant. The tub looked like it had been repaired, but poorly. It appeared as if it had needed resurfacing after the repairs, but instead was maybe painted. Regardless, the end result was a tub that did not appear sanitary. Because the rest of the room was so well appointed, I do not believe this was a cleaning issue as much as it was a maintenance matter. At check-in, no one was at the desk for some minutes, but once the clerk arrived, she was courteous and apologetic.

We ended up leaving a day early. The main issue started with the toilet in our room, which never worked properly. The front desk initially offered to move us to another room, which we appreciated. However, after about five minutes in the new room, a maintenance employee came to tell us the toilet in our original room had been fixed and that we should move back. When we checked, it very clearly was not fixed. At that point it felt like we were just being bounced around instead of having the issue actually resolved.
To make things worse, the entire first floor smelled strongly of marijuana. We are traveling with an infant, so this was completely unacceptable. The smell was so obvious you could practically pinpoint the exact room it was coming from, yet the front desk did nothing about it.
Between the broken toilet, the confusing room situation, and the strong marijuana smell throughout the first floor, we decided it was best to cut our stay short and leave a full day early.
If you are looking for a clean and family friendly hotel with responsive customer service, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. But if you are searching for a 420 friendly hallway with careless customer service, this might be the place for you.

The room was nice and clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room. My biggest complaint is the availability of staff to assist. A neighboring guess was very loud (laughing, yelling, banging on furniture) for hours after 10 PM. It woke my daughter and myself multiple times. We had just returned from 13 hours at a volleyball tournament around 8 PM and wanted to go straight to bed. She also had to be back up early for a second day. We had very broken, miserable sleep. I attempted to call the front desk numerous times both on my cell phone and with the room phone. I never could get a response. I also could not leave a voicemail as it said it was full. I attempted to also contact the property through text message and email but never received a response in any form. Upon check out in the morning, there was no one at the front desk to check me out or to speak to about the night before. I had to leave my keys at the desk. I never encountered a staff member again after check-in.

When I checked the staff was welcoming. The parking was safe. The room was fairly larger than expected. It smelled clean. However the simple things that popped out that needed a lot of attention was the tub cleanliness, the shower curtain smelled like dirty wet rag, many lights did not work in my room. During the day around the afternoon I also notice in the staff kitchen area where they prepare the continental breakfast, there were hashbrowns (in their packaging still) layed out on a rolling cart just sitting there for a good while… mind you this was in the afternoon.

Parking and location is good. Very poor condition, old carpets and very dirty. Bed sheets were dirty. bugs found on my bed and restrooms.

Great breakfast. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage. Then the normal things - yogurt, bread, cereal
The bed was very firm. The room was very nice.

I definitely do not recommend this hotel. Hotel itself was too dirty. I was given a dirty room. It was not properly cleaned. Sofa and carpet had crumbs. Bathroom was dirty. Bathtub had black stains. Bed sheets were stained. The room itself felt very unsanitary. Rooms need a lot of maintenance. Had a bad experience and will definitely not stay is his hotel anymore.

The suite was not clean the mattress was so hard and we didn’t sleep good and the mattress of the sofa was so dirty with some yellow stains and very old this time I have very bad experience

The room wasn't very clean, there was hair in the tub, the bed didn't have a flat sheet, but 2 blankets which was fine but it was stained in several places which I wasn't sure if it was clean or not. There was lots of dust in the corners, no hangers in the closest to hang clothes once ironed and once they checked us in on tje 3rd floor the elevator went out the next morning so we had to pack all the luggage down 3 flights. The breakfast area is very small only room for 1 person at a time and the orange juice taste as if it was mixed half and galf with water to make it stretch.

Coffe maker was tray and was used and had mold growing on coffee maker Room 115. No towels in Room, had to check towels out and RETURN TO FRONT DESK or get charged. NEVER AGAIN
