The room initially looked clean, but at night roaches were coming from the microwave and cabinet areas. When I told lady at the front desk she acted surprised and I was told they will look into it. I checked out before that ever happened. I definitely will never stay there again. And wouldn't recommend it.

Decent stay for a couple of nights, the pillows were not comfortable and pretty small. There was a smell in the hotel that we could not get rid of. Fitness center only had 2 treadmills, both were not working during my stay. Complimentary breakfast had plenty of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I’d give them a 10/10!

Room was spacious and enough for what we needed. Only thing I’d change is the comfort of the pillow and cleanliness / smell.

It was an absolutely great day. It was my first time with my boyfriend, traveling to Lubbock on my own with me and him alone so I was a little anxious that the room would not be great, but it was absolutely awesome. Had storage space for all of our food because we did travel on a budget. Overall, it was really really nice and the front desk guy was very very awesome. And one of the other girls at checkout was also very awesome.

We had a fun stay, and my kids had a great time! The breakfast was nice and had a good variety, which we really enjoyed each morning. The only downside was the cleanliness. The rooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly, and the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel could definitely use some improvement. Other than that, we had a good experience and made some great family memories.

There is a mini kitchen in the studios however there were no paper towels on the paper towel holder and they could put some paper plates and disposable silverware to make the kitchen useful.

The room wasn't really \"Clean\" Swept, maybe. Mopped and sanitized? Nope. The sheets and linens were clean but the beds were also very high off the ground and there were no extra linens in the closet. Our room had a pull out-bed in couch (Which was very uncomfortable to even sit on) and I'm not sure how we would have used it without additional linens. We had to change rooms at 7 pm on a Thursday due to maintenance being unavailable to clear a toilet for us. Annoying to have to move, but at least that was an option. We did not eat the breakfast due to food allergies and didn't have time for the pool/amenities.

This home is very cute and was perfect for our trip. The only complaint I have is that the toilet downstairs wouldn’t fill up after it flushed. We did have to manually add water to the tank in order to flesh, but we did not call for maintenance as I really didn’t want people in the home while weren’t there. We weren’t in the home very much, we were out doing wedding things. Would stay again.

Check-in was a bit busy, didn't help the employees in her phone. Room was clean, beds and pillow comfy, good water pressure and hot water. Everything is clean and we'll maintained. The breakfast and whoever is in charge of breakfast deserves 10 stars and a raise. It's was a great breakfast, everything fresh, great coffee, nothing was watered down nor reheated from the day before. The flys in the breakfast room were quit big and bothersome.House keeper was a very sweet lady who did a fantastic job who also deserves 10 stars and a raise. It's Coffee available 24/7. It was a busy weekend with Goliath tournament and Jehovah's Witnesses Convention and everything ran smoothly for us

We arrived approximately 2.5 hours after check-in time, yet our room was still not ready. The employee who checked us in was very kind and helpful, but the overall hotel operation seemed chaotic throughout our stay. Our room had a strong wet dog odor. The carpet/floor under the air conditioner felt soft, as if there may have been moisture damage. The air conditioner was also extremely loud when cycling off, sounding like a truck running outside the room. By morning, the room felt damp and humid. We also discovered there were no extra pillows or blankets available for the sofa bed. When we requested them, we were told the hotel did not have any available. When checking out, I attempted to share these concerns with the front desk, but the response felt dismissive and there was little interest in addressing the issues.Unfortunately, between the delayed room, unpleasant odor, maintenance concerns, lack of bedding, and poor response to feedback, this was not the experience we expected.

We left something in the room. We know exactly where we left it. It was a graduation gift. Called the hotel to come back and get it. They claim they never found it; however, we know it was left in the room. We described the location where it was left, the size, shape, and color. Stated it was a graduation gift and very special. They claimed the housekeeper never saw it. That’s impossible. We are convinced the housekeeper kept it and never turned it in.

The hotel is perfectly located - close to Texas Tech and everywhere I needed to be. Close to a Starbucks, Market Street, and convenience stores. Parking is plentiful. The room- very clean. They didn't clean the pool once during our 11day stay during spring break. You would think they would clean it more often to get ready for their visitors but no. The water was dark green by the time we left. By day 3 my kids came out the water with bad allergies, rashes and itchy skin. Just nasty. The room came w/6 towels but when to give them to the cleaners they only gave us 3 for a family of 6. At least give me what the room came w/back. I asked for an extra pillow and blanket for the pull out couch 4 times! I got NOTHING. I ended up buying some from the Ollie's down the street. The fat old white receptionist was always on our butts about the pool towels even though we never left the pool with them. But would let others take them to their room. Buddy kept asking me if we had a room there and when I asked to get a refund and leave early he said he couldn't do that. The man is useless. The cleaners were cool, the food was good. They kept up with the coffee and tea we kept drinking. Oh and don't ask for the entire bed sheets and comforters to get cleaned up, they'll only return the sheets and say they all of a sudden don't have enough thick comforters. And we were there for 11days. They didn't replace toilet paper nore the bathing soaps. They couldn't find the comforters we sent to get cleaned and didn't give us the brown blankets to replace them either. Never again, don't waist your time with this place.

Front desk clerk (Brian) needs the proper training for customer service. My check-in was terrible. I was not aware of $100 incidental charge that had to be applied to my card. He tried to charge my card multiple times and it flagged it as a fraudulent charge. I got in contact with my bank and they had to send an email to the main office to show that it was me trying to do the hundred dollar charge. . Instead of Brian helping me fix the situation he made it a lot worse by repeating not once but five times that he was just going to cancel my reservation and I could just leave to another hotel mind you I had my two-year-old daughter who had not yet used the potty because I told her to wait until we checked in. I tried several options to get him to hold off on the incidental charge until my husband got there he said no I asked if he would wait for my card to clear he said no he said I just needed to leave and go to another hotel that is not the way you do business at a facility such as Hawthorne, especially when you’re traveling please get him the proper training that is needed or replacement with someone else who knows how to handle situations such as the one that I experienced
