Right after check in I was immediately told the pool was out of service. When I opened the room door, the smell of wet dog and old cigarettes kicked me in the face harder than a Chuck Norris round house to the chin. The carpet looked wet and more like linoleum than fibers. The pillows were stained more yellow than a smokers teeth. We had roaches coming out from under the bed and bathroom as a welcome committee. The toilet was broken and the shower head had so much scale I could of been busted by TSA on suspicious substances. I could feel the spirit of this room clinging on to my skin the whole 2 mins I was in there. There was mold, bullet holes in the door, cigarette holes on the covers and carpet, and the ac was not AC-ing. I don't know how this place is still open. I quickly booked another room elsewhere simply for health concerns for my kids. Yet they still had the audacity to charge me for the day. I wish there were negative stars to give because this place was way sub par.

The 1st room I was checked into smelled so bad! Like wet dogs were left in the room and it was full of flies. It was the most disgusting mess ever, so then I was moved to another room with no towels, no toilet paper and the a/c didn't work at all. I went down to ask if someone could just look at the a/c and was immediately told I could just be refunded there were no other available rooms. But I walked by 10-12 rooms that were empty cuz you know they leave the curtains open. This was 12:45am on the 4th of July and I had just gotten off work and just wanted to shower and relax. My boyfriend showed up and was able to fix the a/c but I had to argue to get towels and toilet paper. The front desk guy just kept telling me he will refund me. I will never stay there again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE!

The pictures are nothing what this place actually is. Very bad area of town with very sketchy people walking around the property. Not family friendly at all. Many rooms appear to have been broken into as the door handles look broken on a lot of doors. The property is very worn down nothing like the pictures. We arrived around 12:30am and felt very unsafe in the parking lot even though they have a security guard driving around.

The first room they gave us we walked in and there was a horrible smell. Walked around the room and it was completely trashed. Walls torn up, dirty walls, smoke detector ripped from the wall. There was even still poop and toilet paper in the toilet. One bed only had one pillow. It almost looked like someone was already staying there. Very creepy!

We walked out immediately and and went back to the front desk and I demanded a room that looked like the pictures I saw on Expedia.

They walked us to another room and guess what the door wouldn't even open. The handle was broken. I also noticed the pool was covered with a tarp and trashed. My kids really wanted to play in the pool which doesn't even exist.

I told them that I would just like a refund as this place was nothing like it is advertised. So they said they gave me a refund but I booked through Expedia and have yet to receive it.

I was very much disappointed booking this hotel. I was assigned to a room which was not clean. Wc had unflashed toilet. Very dirty room. They changed my room and moved me to another room which was almost the same. Floor was very dirty and carpet has stains. I had to go to get vacuum cleaner myself to clean the carpet. Roaches everywhere. The bathroom was unkempt
Hairs everywhere. The room next to me was very noisy. They had about 3 dogs in the room and barking all night. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone. It is the dirtiest hotel I have ever been to.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

This was the worst hotel ever! We checked in and left to get stuff to make the room somewhat inhabititable. The first room was horrible. The basin was stopped up and it smelled like dogs. On the way to look at the first room, there was dog poop outside one of the rooms. We went back to the front desk and asked for another room. The front clerk was nice enough to give us another room. It was better than the 1st one. Me and my son left to the store and to visit family.
We told our family that we visited about the room and they were like yall can stay with us, which we did
We went back to turn the key in and asked for refund. We got a partial refund because we had already checked in.

This place needs to be shut down and torn down.

In addition, our daughter was car jacked in the parking lot, it is not a safe place to stay. Not like the pictures. Definitely not worth the price.
The carpet was sticky, the chair was full of cigarette burns, the room smelled like smoke. The lights did not have shades or covers on them, the pillows were stained and not in protectors, the mattress protector was stained with clean sheets on top. The sink had been painted, but had since cracked and flaked. The shower did not appear to be cleaned, there was the last people's soap wrapper in the shower curtain rings. The bathroom door looked like it had only ever been touched with black greasy hands. The door was almost totally off the hinges. You had to push the door into the hinge and then try to shut the door, which it wouldn't fully shut. We had driven for 24 hrs prior to arrival, so the staff was very nice in letting us check in early, but definitely told us that his head housekeeper would be upset. ....we felt we were given the 'per hour' room...
When we checked in, there was a text that came through asking how our check in went and how staff could help us settle in further. All of these concerns were outlined then. We slept on our car blankets on top of the bed spreads because we were so exhausted, but when we spoke to the front desk about our concerns, he said he had no idea where that text came from and still charged us for one night.

Dont let the pics fool you. Its not a nice place.

I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the room we were given. As soon as we walked in, it was obvious it had not been properly cleaned—if at all.

The beds had visible stains of poop or vomit on the sheets and mattress, and the bedding looked used and unwashed. The floors were dirty and covered with trash, including towels, food debris, and random items left behind. The furniture and surfaces were cluttered and clearly not wiped down.

In the bathroom area, the sink and counter were unclean, with trash left underneath and on top. Even the mirror was visibly dirty. Overall, the entire room gave the impression that it had been completely neglected.

This was not just a minor cleanliness issue—it was unacceptable and unsanitary. We did not feel comfortable staying in the room at all and had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay after already traveling a long distance.

I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made to their cleaning and inspection standards.

I booked a room in advance. The description of the room was appealing. When I entered late in the evening nobody was at the desk. I knocked on the desk and spoke but there was no reply. I spoke a little louder, still no reply. So I shouted but still no reply. Then a hotel employee appeared and complained that I should not be shouting.

I signed in and went to the room. It had a disgusting smell, really nasty. There was a commercial fan on the floor that appeared to be designed to sit on the floor which had no apparent beneficial effect. The amenities listed on the website were not present. No TV, no coffee maker, no iron, no safe, no hairdryer, no refrigerator. There was a cigarette butt in the toilet bowl. The toilet flushed just fine but the water ran continuously. Some of the rooms appeared to have permanent residents. I went back to the desk and asked if another room might be available that was in better condition. I was told “No, they are all the same.”

The description on the website might have been accurate 20 or 30 years ago, but the current conditions do not match what is listed.

The clerk gave me paperwork to request a refund. I have not acted on this yet.

Expedia should not list this property and should not take reservations.

I called about 15 hotels in the downtown area and they were all booked solid. I ended up staying at a hotel with a bad reputation that was just barely adequate but was a major improvement over the Baymont.

The bathtubs and sinks were dirty, the hairdryer had black oil on the handle and didn’t work, there were exposed wires, literal dirt and pet hair all over the floor and furniture. Every front door to the rooms looked like multiple break-in attempts had occurred. Here’s the best part, the manager immediately accepted that the place was disgusting and told me he did not charge me and to follow-up with Expedia. He printed an invoice showing $0 balance. That invoice was a scam, even printed with a future date to make it look like I stayed longer than the 10 minutes it took me to determine the place was disgusting. Expedia is saying the property did not refund me, and there is nothing they can do. This property is a complete scam. DO NOT pay for a room here!!!

Main problem was heating. Had to change rooms twice due to no heat. While talking to the frond desk I was told they have no maintenance personnel and when things break they just stay broke.

None of the three rooms had towels, front desk also did not have towels.

The hair dryer in one room was broke in half with the heating elements hanging loose. The GFCI outlet it was still plugged in to was full of caulk so that the safety switches were no longer functional. Then, in case this fire trap started a fire, half of the smoke alarm was removed.

The shower surrounds and bathroom sinks in all the rooms were separated from the walls and countertop. No towels or hot water, was not able to test out shower.

Dirty infested with roaches , spent two hour to get a barely
Ok room. If it wasn’t for it would have taken five business days to get my money back. I would have left, to find another hotel.

You get what you pay for. If you need a place to sleep for a cheap price. It's here. Shout out to the management staff & especially maintenance for the friendly smiles, great attitudes & overall kindness 👍

This is absolutely the worst hotel room I've ever stayed in. It's old yes - but it's obvious management did not care what the property or the room looked like. Carpets had huge tears in it, bedspread and curtains had holes in them, towels and sheet were stained (so hopefully they were at least clean. Bathtub was stained and had bathtub rings, bathroom vanity was separating from the wall, closet was missing closet rod and supports (obviously no hangers) and to top it off - no hot water for bath. Sink was clogged and I saw a roach at night in the bathroom - but the room was so disgusting that was not surprising. I can't believe Wyndham allows this property to use it's name.

Worst stay ever, staff was helpful, but the hotel was extremely rundown every smelled bad like cigarettes and dirt. We arrived late so had no option but to stay the night, room was roach infested, everything thing had dust, Tv didn’t work, two lights working in the room, microwave was broken. Scary night. Nightmare stay. Thank goodness we got another hotel for the next night.

Horrible, they stuck me in the back where sex workers roamed, no lighting, i asked for a downstairs room and they said not available, didn't stay, dropped off the key after the loud music snd strange people outside at 3am. Dirty room, dirtier sheets and towels, room chair was filthy, missing furniture, the bathroom shower handle to turn on water was broken and sitting in dirty tub. They honestly didn't care about me being a paying customer 😒

I booked a non smoking room, but room was full of pot smell, no WiFi even after multiple times told the receptionist, no hot water. This is so terrible experience, I’ll never book a motel again in bayonet / Wyndham
