There were no blankets on the bed. Or in the room. 2 of the 3 outlets were not in working condition. But was an ok place even though as a handicapped person (wheelchair) the room was very small and limited area to move. If you need a place to only lay your head… it is ok.

I was not expecting much for a simple 1-night stop on a long journey, but this America's Best was very good. The room was simple, but very clean, very comfortable, had everything I needed (clean bed, shower, even TV with some of my favorite channels). The breakfast was much better than some motels I've stayed in with a much larger selection of items. It's not a 5-star Michelin motel, but for my purposes, I would give it at least 4 stars-plus.

We had an issue that was totally unacceptable!

On the last night of our stay, starting at about 8:45PM, the people staying in the room next to ours started to party. They partied from the back of their pickup truck, which was backed into the parking space right outside our door. The music was loud and intrusive to our sleep, and the revelers were yelling and carrying on at full volume.

I called the front desk to complain. Despite very few people staying at their property, he was unaware of the party going on. He said he would investigate and call me back, but he never did. After 15 more minutes of unabated noise, I called him back. He claims he told the group to relocate to the party pavilion on the property and to turn down the music. And then he said that if the noise continued, I should call the police.

The noise/party ended after another 30 minutes or so. It is unconscionable that the manager considered it to be MY job to contact the police and not his responsibility. The remainder of the night was uneventful.

I think we should be given a refund on the one night since out sleep was disrupted and our safety concerns were elevated.

Pool was winter covered in midMay (104*),
Also did not have the jacuzzi tub in the room (we reserved with it).
Need proteins at breakfast like scrambled eggs and peanut butter packs for waffles, otherwise its cereal, toast, biscuits, good spread as long as you're there before 8:15 (6-9am)
also Google maps calls Slaton Drive 'Ave Q' when directing to driveway, watch for UHaul and go across highway at same spot.

Pics and reviews online not close to reality. Rooms smelled really bad and body fluid stains everywhere. Watched drug deal from room next door to ours. Could not stay in room, had to find other accommodation elsewhere, but front desk refused refund. DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!

Our reservation was lost. They had rooms available but where 10X the amount we booked it for. There was not any type of notification that our room was cancelled or anything. We drove hours to get to the hotel to find out that we did not have one. The receptionist was not kind and we had to leave. Unfortunately, we had to go home because there were no rooms available in town and this hotel was not worth over $500.00 a night to stay in.

Waited 10 mins to talk to sone about checking in. It was 30 mins from current check in time and was told had to wait until check in time. Finally got checked in and then keys not working. Went to front office twice to get them to work. Finally the maid had to get us in room. The hotel doesnt have enough staff. They were friendly but just seemed unorganized and short staffed. We were there for a very large concert so the hotel should have been prepared.

Our bed in room 111 was loud, when we moved it was like banging the trash can outside. Food seemed undercooked, staff was nice, no hot tub, it felt unsafe, you could hear people talking outside, and the door entrance, the glass was shattered like it was shot.

This room is more of a “pimp” room than a hotel room. There is a corner jacuzzi next to the bed. There’s no such thing as a nonsmoking room so the stench of cigarette smoke is ever present. All in all it was a horrible experience.

For the price we paid, it was pretty reasonable. The lady at the lobby was helpful and multitasked between the front desk and the breakfast area. You get a fridge, microwave, a comfy bed and a hot shower. That’s all we needed.

This guess was on me but somehow we had a smoking room and it was nothing like the pictures online and smelled of smoke awful. Breakfast was a joke by 8am there was nothing left. Juice machine didn’t work food selection very limited. Staff was nice but I rented the room based on the reviews on this site almost all being 8 or 10 but I noticed today the same person seems to have made a few to bump up the score.

We stay here very often because we have Tech season tickets. Most of the time it’s decent, room clean, staff nice, breakfast average. This time the room was very clean, staff was nice but breakfast was NOT and didn’t have hair dryer (even though it says they do and they have always had). Not sure why they fell short with breakfast. Hoping our next stay which will be soon has a better experience.
FYI had to go buy a hairdryer, a cost and trip I wasn’t expecting.

My first concern when we arrived was at the parking lot was absolutely empty
. We got checked into the hotel room and it seemed clean. It was quiet. But it felt like we were staying at a hotel in a Third World country. Whenever we finally got back from our event and laid down on the bed, it was literally like laying on a piece of plywood with the mattress topper on it. It was such a horrible night sleep that my wife woke up before the sun came up and said “let’s please just get on the road. “
We thought that we would stop at the breakfast before we left, there wasn’t even real coffee it was canned coffee. Cereal. Make your own pancake your own waffles. No fresh fruit anywhere to be found.

The most honest review I could give is that it’s quite literally like staying at a hotel in a Third World country.

First 2 rooms where damaged had to switch rooms. No AC in one, phone was broke, fridge broken full of water and bugs

After complaining to management they brought out raw uncooked food
Got extremely sick and was throwing up entire drive from Lubbock texas to St Louis MO

Check in was good, the room itself was good but breakfast was poor. Breakfast is from 6am-9am. We went at 7:15 and there was nothing except make a waffle. All trays were empty. I choose Hotels that specifically include breakfast so this was a total disappointment. Checking out wasn't great either. Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk and then there was no hospitality. This is one hotel that i will not stay at again.

I paid for the queen size room with the jacuzzi, and for $171, it was not worth it. There was a dead cricket waiting on the table, the AC unit never satisfied so it would constantly cut on and off throughout the night, the bed wasn’t comfy and wasn’t even a queen sized bed and was a full, the jacuzzi was dirty and had debris all in it, and the water pressure in the shower was horrendous! Definitely would have been better off staying somewhere else, and I won’t be staying here again.

From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made us feel welcome with a friendly and efficient check-in. We were in town visiting family, and this hotel turned out to be the perfect choice. The bed was very comfortable, the room spotless, and the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. Check-out was just as smooth and easy. Overall, a wonderful stay—I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Limpio , pero viejo ,es un motel barato no puedes esperar mucho si no quieres pagar mucho , el desayuno tenían café , waffles , huevos cocidos , NO fruta , llegamos a las 8 am y ya no tenían pan , pedí y dijeron que ya no tenían , también había papas y salchichas, bisquetes calientes ,

Water pressure was horrible, water temp wasn't that warm, tv speakers were blown. Room had a mix between nasty moldy smell & some strong cleaning material. The ac worked but barely( it was super noisy & the knobs didnt work). Door lock kept messing up, mini fridge was busted. 90 some degree’s & the pool was closed. Parking lot is filled with potholes. I would Not recommend staying here. Do yourself a favor & drive up the road & stay at one of those hotels. They are charging over $140 a night for something that isnt even worth $60 a night

Had to return to office for keys several times, they finally just gave me a master key. 5 minutrs after I checked out they charged me for another night. When I called to ask why, they said they would remove the charge, but it posted several days later. They then gave me a refund only after I called and threatened a call to the BBB
