Please do not go to this Motel; When I went to check-in, the woman at the front desk told me: “We canceled your reservation!” When I asked why they canceled my reservation? She explained to me that they cancel all third party reservations and told me to pay cash. I did not pay cash, but called Hotels.com explaining what was told to me. The agent on the phone did confirm that this location did in fact cancel my reservation. This left me with no room. Therefore, I sat in there parking lot at this location calling to see if there were any rooms available. We found a Hampton Inn and stayed there for the whole weekend. The Hampton Inn was wonderful and when we go back to Lubbock we will stay there and not Motel 6. What Motel 6 staff did at this location was unprofessionally rude. I will no longer stay or even suggest staying at any Motel 6. For the record I was not the only person this location did this too, there were 6 other people they did this too. Again, just completely unprofessional and rude.

When we arrived, many rooms were not ready. Many bookings had been cancelled. It was a major weekend due to a concert in town. Booked this place because of the price. But it was not even worth it. Very disappointed. Very dirty place. Needs major attention from owners. Would not recommend to anyone.

There was a line to check in because apparently if you booked the \"studio 6\" side, those reservations got canceled because there was something wrong with that side. The pool wasnt usable because it was dirty and had buildup indicating it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The property had been just pieced together for each repair that was done, caulking trying to hold things on that were long gone, mis matched stairs, burn marks on the tub, dirty toilet paper, shower knob was hanging on for dear life. The room we reserved was definitely not meant to have 2 beds. The 2nd bed was up against the ac unit, we had to scoot it away so the ac could breath. George Strait was in town and everywhere was sold out so we just slept there that night and got out of there. The pros - the ac worked, there was hot water, the doors locked and my car was not broken into overnight!

We walked into the room and walked right back out. It smelled in the room, holes in walls. Sink and shower were stained. Cockroaches crawling on the wall. Motel 6 you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to rent out.

This place cancels prepaid bookings without informing you till you show up to check in. They stuck me in a room that wasn’t even in service. It was disgusting. Smelt like cigarettes and we had no pillows to sleep with. Everything was torn to pieces as if someone was squatting there before. They expected us to pay again but their system crashed and asked for cash only. This place is a nightmare for sure.

The entire experience was absolutely terrible. We, along with the entire lobby of guests checking in , were told that our reservations were canceled and should have been notified. Miraculously, they “found” our reservation. Our room disgusting. The air conditioning unit had caked on filth and was missing the air vent (super dangerous). The sink had hair was covered with rust stains. The restroom was the worst part of the room. The shower head was crusted with lime or calcium. The tub had grass and dirt in it as well as rust stains. The pool was green and covered in trash. The stairs were falling apart and “repaired” with wooden planks. I have never had a hotel stay like this. Absolutely horrible. No one should ever have to feel worried about getting sick from a HOTEL.

This place is terible for the price: 70 dollars a night. We stayed here because there wasn't a pet fee, but we regretted instantly. We didnt have to use the key as the door to our room was open, and we had trouble getting it to close. The wall had stains as well as the furniture. Super dated and the only thing that appeared to be clean were the bed sheets and towels. Also, we couldn't sleep due to the noise. Drunk/ high low- lifes who weren't staying there were parked outside making a lot of noise until 3 a.m. The place is incredibly seedy. We almost called the cops.

Hotel charged a $75 deposit, entire place looked rundown and in disrepair, the stairs had steps missing, air conditioning panels were all missing, trash everywhere, no hot water, cigarette burns everywhere in the room, clean towels were NOT clean full of stains. I have NEVER felt so disgusted with a Motel 6 before in my 58 years. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anybody

Reserved a non smoking room, but smoking was obviously commonplace in the room due to the strong odor and burnt cig marks on the bathroom sink and tub. The smoke alarm was disconnected and on a shelf, the manual clasp lock on the door was barely hanging on the door jam, and there was no hot water for taking a shower. The only good thing I can say is we did not stay and requested a refund which we did get back promptly a few days later.

This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. I could not stay there and had to book another room elsewhere immediately.

There was no water and no proper lighting in the room. The place was extremely dirty, with dust everywhere. It looked like the room had not been cleaned in a very long time.

The photos shown online are completely misleading and do NOT reflect the real condition of the property at all. What you see on Expedia is nothing like reality. It honestly feels like the pictures are staged or digitally enhanced and do not represent the motel in real life.

I don’t understand how Expedia allows this property to be listed. This place should be inspected or removed until it meets basic living standards. Absolutely unacceptable conditions.

The room looked as though it had been renovated by a sixth-grader, sheetrock patches that were unfinished and unpainted, plus dangerous metal brackets left on wall where the bed is. These were sharp enough to gouge or cut a hand or head while sleeping. Refrigerator and microwave looked like pieces salvaged from a condemned property. PLUS, NO hot water on shower (and loose plumbing controls), and toilet did not flush well --- maybe because it was installed NOTICEABLY crooked. They asked me for a $75 deposit at check-in, refunded ONLY if I returned the paper receipt they gave me and AFTER they checked the room before I checked out. The entire experience was not what I expected from the Motel 6 chain. While the price point does not demand luxury, the state of the room was nonetheless disturbing.

This is my first time staying at this Motel 6 in several years. In the past, I always found it to be a clean and decent place to stay. This stay has started off a little differently.
The room I was given, 181, is at the east end of the property facing the interstate highway, and the traffic noise is horrendous. It does not seem to have any sound insulation at all. The room at least appears to be clean, except for odd coloring on the comforter on the bed. The ceiling light fixture does not appear to work (despite the switch by the door). Of the three lamps attached to the walls, only one has a lampshade, and it is not made for the lamp to which it is attached. So it hangs crooked, no matter what you do. In the bath area, the tub has a constant drip, which cannot be corrected. The light over the tub also does not work. There is a desk/shelf, but no chair so it is impossible to use the desk for a computer laptop. The bed is too soft.
On the plus side…The TV and heater work.

They had wire coming out of the mattress. I asked employee if they can change it out or do something about it maybe put a pillow topper or some thing and she said she would ask the manager the manager with men there called me and asked if that was what was it that I need and I asked her if they could do something about the wire and the mattress and she said no unless I was checking out which I did explain to her I was not on the property and was not gonna be there for some hours. I had already paid online she said well then I need you to check out and then you can check back in at three, which would’ve been at least four hours before I was able to do that or be back at the room and I had my two teenagers there so they were supposed I guess stand outside the door or whatever for four hours until. Even though it was already paid, I have paid already for the same room The manager was rude and acted like I was asking something that was ridiculous. Needless to say I did leave the room alone because I didn’t want her to put my teenage kids out of the room for the mattress so I had my son flip the mattress over hoping that that would fix a little bit of the problem which it did at least the big wire was not sticking out anymore to cut my leg. It was just a terrible experience all together. I would never stay at Motel six again, I guess you get what you pay for.

Called complained about the mattress I was hoping to get a mattress topper or maybe another mattress maybe they could’ve flipped it or something I don’t know but the springs coming out on the bed were terrible in the room that we stayed in. I had got on the bed with my knee first and I scraped my knee I have pictures of the wire that was hanging out. It was just terrible. When I spoke to the manager about it and asked her she said no they wouldn’t be able to do anything unless I was going to check out and recheck in at three, which is going to be a whole four hours later I explained I was not going to be back to the room for another couple of hours. But she couldn’t do anything for me no suggestions no compromise it was a terrible experience all together. Roaches crawling on the wall. Bed linen wasn’t even white. There was a used mask covering our smoke detector in our bed room. When I spoke to the manager she was extremely rude and had poor customer service.

The room was pretty filthy! Most definitely could have been mopped and swept up. We walked in our room it smelt like the people before had been smoking all day. I CANNOT stand to be around smoke, which is exactly why I choose NONSMOKING. There were roaches crawling around on the floor and wall. Hair on the bed and pillow like they did not switch out the sheets and pillow case. There could have been a few extra pillows it looked like they just threw a pillow on the bed. The a/c looked like it could’ve exploded so there was no reason to turn it on. I stayed 4 years ago and it was not so disgusting and uncomfortable to stay at.

We didn’t even stay, honestly this place looks like a tweeker hotel. Dirty rooms, beds, showers, counters floors, even the parking lot is full of holes, mold, destroyed door frames from dogs being locked in the bathrooms, leaky showers, holes in walls. Utterly disgusting. We'd rather sleep in our van or camp in a tent in a relatives yard than stay the night here.

This property is extremely unsafe and in terrible condition. The accommodations were filthy, broken down, and clearly not maintained. Upon arrival, I was greeted not by staff, but by individuals openly loitering and using drugs in the parking lot. I witnessed behavior that made me feel deeply uncomfortable and unsafe — including seeing someone partially undressed right outside the entrance as I was checking in.

For my own safety, I immediately left and chose to stay elsewhere. The management can keep my money — I consider it a small price to pay to avoid what could have been a dangerous situation. If you're looking for a secure, clean, and professional place to stay, look elsewhere.

On arrival…People dumpster diving in trash bin, no security around, check in front office Staff member did not care. Check in was good and then everything fell apart. there was no remote in our room. The young man who checked us in, was outside having a cigarette break, I asked for another bath towel and wash cloth and also a remote control. He told me that he would bring them to our room, he never did. The bed was terrible, impossible to sleep on can't ever explain who lumpy & broken it was. Bulbs were out. there was no extra lock on the door. I found a goat head in the sheets. The room was so beat up it looked like it hadn't been cleaned. sheets were stained. Some of the floor tiles were loose and caused some tripping. The room smelt like someone had been smoking in it, if not then it the smell was coming in from outside. the bathtub looked like it was had burned several marks with cigarettes Check out, there was no bell to get someone to help. Next to one side of the bed, there was a fridge being used as an end table. The fridge dept kicking on and off every few minutes. When the room was booked, they only had a couple of rooms left. We didn't move to another room because were probably would have been up on the second floor and being seniors that would have been too hard for us. The air conditioner was so noisy. there was good water pressure in the shower.

I ended up not staying here. 5 minutes after my check in, an individual came out of the woodwork and was using an invalid card key trying to get into my room. Then he knocked and asked me if they had just given me tthe room. The room was unacceptably disgusting. The television had no reception. The smoke detector had been busted and disabled. There were holes in the walls. The bath/shower plumbing was broken and parts missing. The toilet had been used and not flushed.

We reserved a deluxe room with microwave, but no microwave was present. No bed spread or blanket was provided. The room was filled with flies and mosquitoes. It was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of cigarette smoke and numerous cigarette butts were present just outside of the door. The hotel desk clerk refused to transfer us to a different room. The walls were very thin. We could hear a couple talking in the next room. It was extremely noisy outside till late.

No headboard on my bed, screws sticking out of wall near head area during sleep, shower curtain had 3 flies trapped in it and was hanging and drooping from 2 curtain rings. Hair on toilet seat, water around toilet, Bathroom not cleaned. stain on sheets

I should have read what accomodations this establishment provided. Bathroom had a handtowel that was used by previous guest. There was paint drips on the bath tub made the restroom look dirty.
