The ocean view rooms were clean, spacious, and beautiful; the staff were very friendly. The hotel premise was also clean and very nice. We used the swimming pools (including the children's pool) and enjoyed the children's playland (you will need to pay by the hour; it's not owned by the hotel). The breakfast buffet was delicious. Parking was available at all times even when there was a weekend event.

The only downside was the delayed check in for one of our rooms (we had 3 room reservations). We were told that we could check in at 3 pm; our room was available about an hour later.

All in all, the customer service of all the staff was excellent. They were really generous and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

I love the location, the property and the staff were awesome. Good food, room rates are good we can walk everywhere cause everything is near. Parking was okay, cause we have to park across the street from the hotel so it’s kind of risky especially at night, there are risky drivers around the island so you’ll never know.

It was a good experience, not too bad for an older hotel stay. Kids loved the pool. However the room 812, we stayed in smelled like a sewer. Every time the vent went on, it stunk. Since we only stayed a night, I decided to endure it. We did check out early at 9:30AM because the smell was so bad and unbearable for my family and I.

Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. First time staying at this hotel. We couldn’t figure out how to use the hot water until the next morning. We had AC troubles with the AC cause the room was hot (21C and tried to lower it). Staff came by to assist but the room was still hot throughout the night and we didn’t bother to call anymore. Apparently, if you increase the number on the thermo stat, the room gets colder. Only found that out the next morning when we checked out.

Great place to stay. One of the newer hotels if I’m not mistaken. The flushing system in the bathroom can be stronger and I hope the ladies in charge of the restaurant get some customer service training, but otherwise, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Our overall stay was enjoyable as we were there to attend an event. The staff at the event were really good and fast but I think that 2 or 3 more should have been staffed for more ease for the size of the event. The breakfast buffet at La Seine was really good. However, the place was obviously in need of some major renovation in the rooms. I had
booked the family suite and some of the wooden furniture did need some replacing but our suite was clean & the beds were comfy. Only one of the AC vent grill seemed to have been missed during cleaning but it wasn't dark & dusty, just obviously looked different from the rest with newly settled dust. There was a slight sewage smell in the walkway to our room but thankfully, was not in our room itself (others in our group were not as lucky & had to change rooms). The pool opens at 9AM & the pool bar opens at 12PM, both should be open earlier as it would help guests make the most of their stay as having to get food/drinks from the Lounge/Deli was not convenient when already at the pool. Also, the manual way of receiving pool towels & wristbands should be updated.. Its not convenient if a guest forgets their card & is in the farther tower and has to go back for it.. Also, it would have been nice if I was given the option to choose between red or white wine for my complimentary bottle for my suite. It was not our first time staying at this hotel & we would still definitely go back again.

what i didn't like is how access to the pool and beach is so difficult (can't use the entry on our side of the building and it has no instructions). the rooms were out dated and bugs all over the floors, lighting kept on going out showing signs of wear, shower room seemed like an old massage parlor.

Run down and subpar (terribly misleading)

The Island wing is terribly run down. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart, furniture was old, vanity sink was cracked, light bulbs in the living room were blinking. Overall I would never call it 4-5 star hotel. It was poorly maintained and the service was very slow. I booked this place because my experience at Lotte hotels at different locations were good. This was seriously misleading. I booked this place because this hotel had VIP access for Hotels.com gold members. The service and room conditions were subpar. The room was old poorly maintained run down. Terrible. I NEVER EVER would stay here at this price. I would have paid more to stay at a better place. I heard The Tower wing is better condition. Their advertisement is Terribly misleading.

Did an overnight transit. Was clean and comfortable. AC's were a little difficult to control. Japanese-style shower was nice. Did not get to enjoy view or amenities as we had to leave early morning for flight. Airport shuttle available but pricey. Hotel deli closed early due to lack of people staying at hotel during these times.

Meh, they could do better for the price

While i was staying in one of the two rooms i purchased that was decent and clean; the others in the other room said it wasn't good. I was told about the carpet being messed up and a bunch of rust in the bathroom. They seemed to have a different experience when i thought all rooms was supposed to be the same. We also didn't have enough cups with all of us together. We all agreed too that hours for different things were stupid. How are you gonna have a pool only open from 2-8pm and on certain days of the week? The other hotel next to us had people all day and night in the pool everyday, and their pool had fancy lights too. Next time i most likely will stay somewhere else bc of these stupid hours and my friends complaining about their room.

Kimberly at the front desk was the best! She saved our stay since the room was not ready for a few hours after we got there. Food was amazing, pool was nice. The jacuzzi was luke warm which shouldn’t be a problem since it’s normally hot out, but during rainy season, warm water is needed.

The water temperature in the shower kept switching from extremely hot to extremely cold and back even though it was set for a certain temperature.

The TV in the room wasn’t working.

The pool floor was rough and had scrapped our feet. The main pool was closed, it was green but the kids pool was open and the green water from the main pool was still seeping into the kids pool.

The hotel policy doesn’t allow outside food into the pool area. The pool bar staff said I could purchase items from their deli in the lobby since the pool bar had limited items. When I had brought drinks down to the pool, the hotel staff had loudly approached me for the items I had bought from their deli in the lobby that other guests were looking. I had to explain to the staff that I was told it was ok to do so since it wasn’t considered outside food as it was purchased from their establishment. He still continued to argue with me until I told him to take it up with the pool bar staff. Everyone else was nice and professional.

Staff was very accommodating especially towards any inconvenience we experienced while there. The only thing that was upsetting was we had this free coupon to use at The Cabane by the pool side but the lifeguard told us we can only use it on weekends. We did not have a chance to use it as we werent staying thru the weekend. As we were checking out, we saw that people were using the Cabane and it wasn't a weekend. That was the only disappointing thing.

This was my first time staying at Lotte... and I should’ve stayed somewhere else. It was not worth the amount of money I spent for one night alone. I expected Lotte to be a better stay than the many hotels I’ve been to on Guam. I actually canceled my stay with Sheraton and switched to Lotte last minute, which I absolutely regret doing.
I strongly suggest Westin or Sheraton if you want your expectations met. I’ve stayed at Sheraton before for less than the price of this room and they did not have the issues Lotte had.
The infrastructure of the bathroom needs to be redone; the sink spattered water all over me when I turned the water on, so I had to change my outfit. The shower head had lime scale deposits, so I opted for the bathtub. The bathroom doesn’t have a door, it has a closet-like partition and does not lock. I went looking around for an ice machine and one of the front desk people led me the wrong way, so I had to ask someone else. The lamps and tables had dust on them. The thermostat in the room kept resetting itself, so the room stayed warmer than I needed it to be.
I’ve definitely stayed in worse places, but at least the price for those places were justified. The most satisfying points of my stay had to be the view, the comfy bed, and the kind hotel staff.
However, I will never stay at Lotte again. I usually do not post bad reviews, but I think sharing my experience will keep others from making the same mistake.
Expensive does not mean better quality!!!

There are many good things about this hotel: location, good amenities in room, nice fitness center, friendly staff. We arrived from a cruise ship , kicked out around 1000. Stood in the rain for half hour waiting for taxi to hotel, so we and our luggage were soaked. No rooms available for check in but around noon we were offered “upgrade” for $50/day which meant we could get in a room and out of our wet things about 3 hours early. We took it (room had same configuration as the one we had paid $333/day for) but included some coupons for cabana (unused rained whole time), shopping discounts and breakfast, the latter we did use for a diverse, excellent buffet. The room itself felt damp. The bathroom is in need of an overhaul: the ceiling above the tub leaked and when we informed and showed The pleasant staff member, he said they would have engineering fix it. Next day, same dripping, although it was NOT continuous, perhaps only when guests on floor above were using their bathroom??? Anyway, the faucet in the sink also sprayed out over the area outside the bowl. Finally, even though we were paying a decent amount for the room, the hotel had a lot of “penalties” that felt like we were being nickeled and dimed: early check in fees, lost key card fees, etc.

The room was okay but not worth the price. The ocean view is priceless but the room itself looked and felt like an old building that they remodeled poorly. Dust in the vents and in the lighting near the. A lot of calcium build up with mold in the bathtub underneath the faucet and handles. The bathroom drawer under the sink was poor quality. Looked like it was part of the old building but they just slapped on some paint and called it good. The drawer where the hair dryer just fell off like a arts and Crafts project from elementary. I had a hard time popping it back in. The tv stand has permanent stains from who knows what. This was not the best hotel. The only thing that salvaged the start was the view. I guess they bank on that instead of thinking of sustainability.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, big rooms if a bit dated. Family focused hotel so busy noisy pool area and they don’t have loungers on the beach so not the place if you want relaxing pool/beach lazy days. Location is good and food and drink we had in the hotel was good quality and not overpriced. Good snorkelling at this end of the bay.

With a 11month, I would highly recommend getting a club room as it comes with breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour. This along with the pool, nearby quiet beach and baby kids room made the hotel feel more resort than just a hotel. Outside food options also within 5 to 10 min walk.
