I didn't get a room. I went to a different hotel right from the start. Says in their contract and online that it's ONLY $100 DEPOSIT but the big guy at the front said he wanted $200 so I dipped out quick!! Also he wasnt very happy, hospitable, kind or helpful. I asked him to contact his manager and most managers live in their own hotels here in Guam so its NOT HARD to get ahold of them. He was just being lazy. So 2 star or 1 star rating from me. Sorry maybe next time if you hire someone more nicer at the front and more helpful and keep up with what your contract says online and not ask for so much 😉.

The lightbulb in the room was so dim u couldn’t see anything at the front of room at night. We changed it ourselves. The room should have been screened to make sure it was adequate. There was a bad mold smell coming from the drain. I covered with a towel and needed air freshener to remove smell. We left the room better than we entered it.

As someone familiar with the island, the location is quiet and convenient to stores, restaurants, and airport. Staff are extremely friendly, rooms are comfortable, clean, has a rooftop pool, nice gym, and the bed is extremely comfortable! For the price, definitely worth it!

The staff here was wonderful. I was not feeling very well and they were very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bed very comfortable. The breakfast was limited. Not much to choose from. Not exactly an airport hotel ! It’s at the end of the runway but u have to drive all the way around . The taxi is $35 usd the taxi is cheaper towards the beach . My room was on the ground floor , the curtains too small, it over looked the car park which had lights on all night .

My friends and I enjoyed the balcony and the TV in the room. The room was spacious, clean with few imperfections, and provided lots of space for my friends. The complementary breakfast was great and the rooftop pool was a great feature. Alcohol and food can be purchased at the Foodys and KFC next door so the hotel was in a convenient spot. Would recommend this hotel again for the next visit.

The picture and the actual property were totally different. Construction inside, noisy, and dirty. Customer service terrible, they argued for over 1 hour with non English speaking Korean customer in the lobby about a missing small hand towel. Front desk speaking in Filipino openly about the difficult Korean.
Non accommodating with early check in.
Pool old, hallways dirty, bathroom dirty. Could not stay there and I wanted my money back. !!!

Lil home away from home

honestly it was good, it was a quick trip home for a funeral and it was close by to what we needed. the hot water didnt last to long but it was good enough. the only thing i was not expecting was a 200. deposit. the paper work clearly stated 100 and the form they had. i didnt argue i just was confused why.. the staff were amazing and everyone made us feel welcomed. i would stay here again. it was the best rest i got in a while. if you looking for simple rest/shower/quiet. its here. we stay here because of errands and family event. value was worth it for my family.

This is a motel, not a hotel. They advertise a shuttle. they said they have a shuttle, but no driver. It was clean, but very basic with very old furniture. No diner options in hotel. Limited food options near hotel. Staff was pleasant. they said it was under renovations.

Stayed 3 nights. Enjoyed the comfy bed, close location to the airport and the nice rooftop pool. However, it wasnt clean, lots of renovation noise (and water interruption), breakfast was a meat sandwich in a plastic takeaway container, and the staff were friendly but not super helpful. Lowest price we could find on Guam, but not sure I'd stay again.

Amidst renovations, an adequate place to stay

I was in Guam on business and this hotel was really close to the airport but kind of in the middle of the drive to other places. The property is in the middle of renovations by a new owner and it's clearly an old property.

The staff was amazing and very helpful, but the hotel has the vibe of an old motel that's being fixed up. Once the renovations are done, it'll be a great place to stay because it's between a variety of places to go, so it's convenient from that perspective.

The cost was reasonable considering it's not in the resort area and it's close to the airport, but it wasn't quite worth the money yet--it will be after the renovations and once the hotel is up to Best Western standards. I might stay there again in the future, but it'll depend on other hotels' prices.

Booked 3 nights here. Left after the first nights because of big cockroaches and flies in the room and booked a different hotel. I even called someone at the front desk to come up and kill one of the cockraoches. He was very gracious, apologetic and did so. Upon check out the front desk said to contact Expedia to refund the amount for unused nights. I did that. Expedia contacted the property manager who has refused to refund the money for those nights. Not a good experience at all. Stand behind your hotel and if it is truly not up to standard, then do the honourable thing and compensate your customers. But that didn't happen. Don't bother to book here - your room WILL have bugs and you will not get any money back.

Terrible. Many Listed Facilities Absent

So this hotel has only got one thing going for it and that is its location close to the airport . It’s convenient if you have. A car- but not if you don’t , as their shuttle is out of commission .

Though breakfast was included in the room rate, the restaurant was out of commission , so they gave you a packed breakfast. This is fine unless you’re vegan, vegetarian , kosher or halal. Breakfast was a ham sandwich , juice box and a cereal bar. No other option was available .

The TV in the room comes with a card that lists all the channels. Except most of those channels don’t exist . For example, they had CBS but not Fox. This was important because Fox had the Super Bowl this year. Rather than watch it in my room before a flight I had to go and find a sports bar. Not what you want when you’re in transit . How do claim to provide TV service but don’t have a major network?

The phone in room did not work. This is a problem when you’re trying to call around to find a sports bar to watch the Super Bowl , because the TV in your room doesn’t carry the Super Bowl

Wouldn’t stay again: the hotel is simply full of false advertising on its listing .

Building condition is ok, 4 star with a pool on the roof. Surrounding area is nice but kinda far from many establishments.
Too close to airport and depending on the wind direction, it can get very noisy.
Some staff were very indifferent to customers, no greetings, no smiles and sometimes not even there.
Overall i give it a 3 star

Centrally-located and familiar lodging that I visit for random weekend staycations. No frills, no fuss accommodations, with a view of the front parking lot. Minimalist amenities, with an active guest-only card accessible safety measure in place during late PM. Parking is sufficient, and never had an issue with theft anywhere on the premises. Light but adequate continental breakfast with every stay. Responsive customer service. Only negative remark would be the almost out of order shower faucet handle. Called front desk to report and maintenance responded quickly. However, no repair or replacement of fixture… just a tighten of the screw, good for just one more time use. Suggestion for hotel: update to include small table for eating or study vs. dated, rarely used side drawers. Thank you!

I've stayed here a few times in the past few years. Each time I check in it's late and the staff is having a conversation while checking me in. Just not very good customer service consistently for the past three visits. She was using her earpiece, but still it's annoying because I felt like I was interrupting her to ask some basic questions about my stay.

Airport was a $28 taxi ride away from terminal. That’s $56 dollars over and back. Deceptive because on other side of the runway. Room was in poor condition. Tea bags were ancient. Cockroach on floor when on floor when I walked in. Staff was nice. Needs a facelift to be labellwd a Best Western.

This was a great stay respectfully because of all the typhoon damage and recovery. The staff was outstanding and personable. The elevator was out due to typhoon. Staff helped me carry my suitcases up to the third floor. The room was clean and neat. Power went out a couple times due to rolling outages in the area. It was great these folks had good attitude and powered on.

Stay at the SureStay Hotel in Guam. July 21 to July 26, 2023.

The Hotel was at a disadvantage from the Super Typhoon that hit the Island at the end of May 2023. Supplies and materials on a small Island lead to repairs taking place requiring some time.

The Hotel did not have any TV service due to the Typhoon and was waiting on their cable service to complete the repair.

The restaurant was not serving Lunch or Dinner due to the Typhoon damage and was awaiting contractors to repair the damage.

Overall, my stay at this Hotel was as pleasant as possible.

I stayed at the Sure Stay Guam Airport with my son on a layover to Hawaii from Japan. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Soon after check in, we noticed the water stopped running. There was nothing at all. I went to the front desk and there was a male employee. I told him there was no water and he said it happens but it will come back. We went out and returned later that night and still no water. I had bottled water so used that to bathe. The next morning we had to check out early to get our flight home. Fortunately the water was back. I realize Guam is recovering from the recent typhoon so do not fault the hotel (I stayed in other hotels without problem). It was not a good stay. AC worked well, TV wasn't working. WiFi was okay. Not much around the hotel so a car is needed.

I arrived at this hotel to find out they had no electricity or water and refused to let me in. Did they cancel my reservation before I spend a ton on taxi rides, no!! Did Expedia help mitigate the issue absolutely NOT after spending more than three hours on hold. Worst experience ever. Property is awful and so are the staff!!
